The Conservative Hideout is pleased to announce the initial poll for the Useful Idiot of the Month Award. This award is presented to the American citizen that has gone above and beyond the call in destroying Constitutional Government and individual freedom. If you notice in the sidebar, there is a poll. Feel free to vote for the “idiot” of your choice. Suggestions for the awards name are welcome. Also, feel free to suggest future nominees.
In the American tradition, the poll should be one man, one vote. However, if you belong to ACORN, you can vote as many times as you want, just don’t expect me to pay you for them.

This is a fantastic idea. “Useful idiot” is term that is underused yet it accurately describers the traitorous vermin that comprise most of the Left and media.
As a suggestion, I would like to nominate the ACLU at some point. They defend the so-called rights of people who would kill them first. Talk about useful idiots.
Thanks. I would agree that, in spite of my satire, that reviving the definition of Useful Idiot is a serious matter. The ACLU is a fantastic suggestion, and will be included in the poll. Come to think of it, ACORN should probably be on the list. Considering their voting fraud and complicity in the housing failure, they probably should be on the list as well.
What I’d like to know is…how useful does this idiot become? Do they get to print money for us? Do they work for us while we stay at home and blog? I’ve voted, but damn it I want to know what I’m getting out of this!

I’d say for the future we need to remember to include the ongoing useful idiots of McCain, and his butt plug (with his head) L. Graham.

Moron = Mild, Imbecile = Severe or Moderate, Idiot = Profound.
But I do like tag that list them all as Defective.
So my vote for a useful defective profound idiot would have to go to Miss Hillary. She put on her salesman hat and went all the way to China and tried to sell them some junk bonds the defective Messiah is printing up.
