There is just a little over a week left to vote for useful idiot of the month.    As always, suggestions for April are welcome.

In a surprising (really??) turn of events, there is an additional candidate.  Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has earned our universal disdain for several acts.  One is his newly found enthusiasm for the tax code.  This enthusiasm is somewhat surprising, considering that he apparently had little to none prior to assuming his current position.  Add to that the fact that he is currently involved in the middle of the AIG- Go ahead and pay your bonuses and then we’ll get mad at you- debacle, and you have a wealth of useful idiocy.

Matt

MattI believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.
