It’s happened again, the Fascist Friday feature gets posted on Saturday!
At any rate, there are some interesting things going on with the Thought Crimes Act oozing it’s way though the Congress. I know a ton of people have talked about it, but I just can’t ignore the thing. Let’s take a look at some of what is being said.
“While the bill’s supporters have very effectively framed the bill as one that will protect victims from criminal acts, the bill actually has very little to do with protection. Indeed, if the bill’s drafters and supporters are to be believed, the bill only becomes relevant after a criminal has committed an already illegal act,” Akers wrote.
If a disturbed person wants to kill off (insert group of your choice here), will a law make them say…”OH DARN, I guess I can’t go on my shooting spree!” Or, maybe it’ll go…”Drat! I guess I have to be nice now!” After all, we do not at all have any laws against harassment, assault, murder, rape, and so on, do we? Not only that, we all know how well gun control works, right? All you have to do is pass a law against something, and it just goes away. Thank goodness, this will just solve everything!
So, if it is dubious as to if it will actually stop a crime, what is it for?
Foremost, the bill simply ignores the 14th Amendment requirements that all citizens be protected equally, providing special protections for homosexuals and others with alternative sexual lifestyle choices, he said.
The author here seems to forget the fact that the libtards could give a rat’s a** what the Constitution says. They just distort it to say what they want it to say.
Porter cited the amendment offering from Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, in committee that was very simple:
The term sexual orientation as used in this act or any amendments to this act does not include pedophilia.
But majority Democrats refused to accept it.
Rep. Louis Gohmert, R-Texas, then explained what it means:
There are only 242 crimes where there is actually some – truly – an assault, and we just rejected an amendment to including pedophilia from being a part of this protected class. Do you realize what that means?
This is what it means…
Child Molester: (Cries)” I was just molesting an eight-year-old, you know, minding my own business, and the kid’s father came into the room and savagely beat me” (sobs).
Libtards: “A HATE CRIME!!!! That father must be punished!!!! ”
OK Serious moment. THEY ARE FREAKING PROTECTING PEDOPHILES, YOU KNOW, PEOPLE THAT HAVE SEX WITH CHILDREN!!!! They are creating a situation where someone committing a crime against a pedophile will be sentenced to more time than someone else!
Rep. Alcee Hastings, D-Fla., a “hate crimes” supporter, confirmed opponents’ fears, saying:
This bill addresses our resolve to end violence based on prejudice and to guarantee that all Americans regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability or all of these ‘Philias’ and fetishes and ‘ism’s’ that were put forward need not live in fear because of who they are. I urge my colleagues to vote in favor of this rule…”
OK, that makes it ALL BETTER. It’s WHO THEY ARE! Just excuse that guy who’s molesting your kid. Have a heart. It’s who he is!! Exhibitionist flashed your wife, better not punch him, you’ll get more time for hitting a protected class! His life is of more value than yours!
But wait, there’s more! Republicans attempted to add amendments protecting people based on religious belief. What did the demonrats say?
Libtards: “Nyet Comrades!”
They also tried to add protection to veterans.
Libtards: “Nyet Comrades, they are DANGEROUS TERRORISTS”
Now, very interesting. They denied protection to people based on religion. I wonder why? I just so happens that I have a theory. They libtards have relied on thuggery, threats, intimidation, and other “tolerant” and “diverse” ways of dealing with those who disagree with them. Here is a short list of examples of their “tolerance” and “diversity:”
1. Shouting down people that they disagree with, or otherwise not allowing them to exercise their First Amendment rights.
2. Threatening to fail students that voice a different point of views.
3. Death threats to religious organizations.
4. Threats to economically ruin people that disagree with them (ie, get them fired).
5. “Bus tours” to the homes of people they don’t like.
6. More death threats to the same.
7. Protesting at the schools of the children of people they disagree with.
8. Obtaining lists of people that contribute to campaigns to defeat them, they posting their names and professions on a Google Map.
Most of these things send a message to the recipient…
Libtards: “We know where you live, we know where you work, and we know where your kids are. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll stop opposing us.”
Extending this “special” status to the groups that they regularly attack would interfere with their efforts to silence them. Can’t have that now, can we?
Just to hit on the obvious irony here, what if Conservative groups did this to libtards? What if I, or someone else, posted all the names and addresses of people that work for ACORN on a website? What if I did a bus tour and protested outside the homes of people that contributed to the passage of a gay marriage law? What if I showed up with a few dozen friends and protested outside of a school where an abortion doctor’s kids attend? The BAWWWWWING would be audible in outer space! The Legion of Doom would be running the story at the top of every broadcast! There would be investigations, arrests, show trials, Oh it would be an event. Now, I don’t need to do that. I have no need to silence or intimidate people. I really believe that people have the right to say what they want. Unfortunately, the libtards have to do it. There’s no other way to get what they want. But then again, we have to remember the rules.
If Conservatives do it, it’s BAD, VERY, VERY, BAD
If libtards do THE EXACT SAME THING, IT’S ALRIIIIIIIGHT!
