Sometimes, the libtards serve it up hot, and there is minimal discussion required.  The following is such a case.

At the dawn of the Obama era, Gingrich has remade himself as the anti-Obama. He is arguably the GOP’s most influential strategist and cheerleader, and a provocative scold of the administration. Where Obama exudes the new Washington equanimity, Gingrich exalts in the old-school insult. He is ruthless in caricaturing anyone who gets in his way as a “pagan” or “statist” or “socialist” or “racist” – all words Newt has hurled in recent days.

CALL IT SOMETHING ELSE TRANSLATION: How DARE they tell the truth!!  We will portray them in the most negative light to conceal our love for the messiah SPENDULUS MAXIMUS! Are you pleased with our coverage messiah?…(kiss-kiss-kiss)…we try so hard to please you…(kiss, kiss, kiss)

Lapdog media is pretty pathetic, isn’t it?

MattI believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.

Newt is the most viable candidate the Republicans have, and his statements are true, regardless of their dismissal. The cult of personality of strong, but my desire for liberty and freedom is stronger. I will call it like I see, and so should everyone else with a decent conscience.

While Newt has the intelligence to run the country, and at least seems to be well grounded in Conservative thought, he is about as engaging as happy hour at the local senior center. Like you, I would vote with my brain and ideology, but I think we need another “great communicator” to reach the larger population. I have doubts about Newt in that regard. I remember him backing down from Clinton more than once on blatant lies and deception from “slick Willie.” Bush had the same problem. They didn’t seem able to communicate the reality of the situation to the greater population. Newt is definitely better than Bush in that area, but he still, in my mind, was somewhat deficient.

I think that Newt, as well as Cheney, are perfect in the role they have right now. They are the attack dogs of the right. They have no office to hold, they have no apparent vested interest, and therefore, they are effective at exposing the lies of the current administration. I beleive that both of them have been quite successful right where they are.
