Some Brief Thoughts on Van Jones

I really didn’t talk about this when it was happening.  Frankly, everyone else was, and doing a great job with it, so I let it slide here.  But now that’s it’s “over,” I think there are some considerations for future actions.

1. Glen Beck is a marked man.  He is generally attributed with this take down.  The lefty media and the NAACP are already talking about “hateful lies” that were spread about Mr. Jones.  After all, Beck had the audacity to actually play speeches featuring Mr. Jones.  Apparently, the only “hateful lies” were the ones that Mr. Jones said himself!  As usual, the left is “reality optional,” so Mr. Beck can expect a long string of allegations and threats.  Since the boycott hasn’t worked against him, and his ratings are through the roof, who knows what the left will try next.
2. They’re going to “circle the wagons,” and not take the next bunch of disclosures sitting down. They’re going to have the MSM distract, attack, and lie for them even more.  Newsbusters will have a field day with that.
3. Jones may be more dangerous now (politically, that is).  The is no longer constrained by being part of the administration.  It’ll be interesting to see where this goes.
4. They’re going to use this as a rationale for controlling the media.  Jones will likely be held up as an example of a well meaning man whose reputation was destroyed by mean Republicans via FOX.
5. Stuff is about to disappear!  Websites are going to be edited. Videos are going to be removed.  People on the left are going to go flat out to remove any evidence of what they really think.  That has been happening small scale to this point.  I know that CSPAN has removed some videos from YouTube that showed how the left set up the housing crisis.  Verum Serum saw one of their videos about single payer removed by an unknown party, and a variety of websites have been scrubbed.  They’re going to try to hide their tracks.

So, what can we do?   COLLECT EVIDENCE!!  Here’s how: (If you already know this, I’m not trying to insult your intelligence.  Some haven’t done this before)

1. Get Firefox.  It is the most versatile browsers, as well as one of the most secure.
2. Firefox has the ability to load “add ons;” small programs that can be integrated into the browser to expand it’s capabilities.  You can use these to collect evidence.
3. First, get Screengrab.  This allows you to take a “picture” of a website.  You can select the whole page, or just a section.
4. Also get Video Download Helper.  This will allow you to download videos directly from YouTube, as well as many other video sites.  There is another extension for Download helper available that will convert the download to Windows Media Format, which makes the file smaller and more compatible with video software.
5. Hunt away!

The Jones resignation is a victory of sorts, but there are many more to expose, and the left is going to get pretty vengeful about the whole thing.
