I believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.
The country is more divided now than ever. I’m not exactly feeling the “peace and love.” Also, I think they gave it to Barry because they know he is easily flattered. Pay him a compliment and he’ll do whatever you want. They know they can keep him wrapped around Europe’s finger if they keep the compliments coming.
This just proves that the award should be named, “The Neville Chamberlain Award for International Capitulation.”
IMHO the Nobel Peace Prize lost all credibility when it awarded it to Arafat in ’94. Let El Presidente share in that auspicious company. He likes dictators anyway.
