Just a short note tonight. I have been under the weather a bit as of late, that is why I haven’t posted for a few days so this is more of a stream of consciousness than a cohesive post.

Here is an ad that I heard Dick Morris talking about on the Mark Levin radio show. Great ad and it needs to be on the television all across the country. I found it on youtube and thought I would share it with you.

Additionally, I did something tonight that I never do. I watched MSLSD. Specifically, the Racheal Maddow show. She led with her top story being the horrific massacre that happened at Fort Hood, TX. So I did not change the channel right away. I watched and listened. She never mentioned the shooter’s faith, heritage or the fact that he identifies himself as Palestinian. She, instead made fun of World Net Daily for leading a story claiming the shooter was an Obama transition team member. Now whether he was or not, I do not know. She claimed he isn’t. I am inclined to believe that. I cannot see Obama surrounding himself with anyone from the military, except in cases he cannot avoid, such as the Joint Cheifs – or in the case of a photo op with returning dead soldiers. But back to Madcow. She then had an expert on who said that one man with two semi-auto pistols could not kill 13 people and wound 30 plus. Their conclusion was that some victims were the target of friendly fire, giving a whole new conspiracy that the nutjobs out there will probably pick up and run with. She did not mention the female civilian police officer that nearly gave her life bringing the shooter down. She did not mention that the shooter has been under investigation by the FBI for months because of his comments made to fellow officers and also on the internet. She did not mention the fact that the shooter has been on record saying that Muslims need to fight back against America.

No, the Racheal Maddow show only wanted to gloss over the tragedy and give rise to a new conspiracy, that of friendly fire bringing some victims down.

On the Fox News Channel, they had a press conference by the military concerning the incident. Yes, I know it is hard to believe, but the Fox News Channel actually presented rock solid facts. Amazing.

At this point, I realized that watching MSLSD was putting me in such a bad mood that I turned to the Disney Channel.

Okay, rambling done. Back to your regularly scheduled, top rate articles that you have become accustomed to here at Conservative Hideout 2.0.

MattI believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.

I’m not sure how to get through a MSNBC show. The CNN / MSNBC / ABC / CBS / NBC t.v news people are so agenda driven it’s really frustrating.

I tend to be more of a Nickelodeon fan…

I respect your bravery in watching the MSMS propaganda. ESPECIALLY PMSNBC! I watch ABC News almost daily. For ABC, it tends to be a case of what they do not cover, rather than what they do. I sometimes catch Face the Nation on Sunday. They get a little inventive with interpretation, and, of course, selectively cover things. CBS actually hit the blog earlier this week.

As for MSNBC, that is THE propaganda wing. Does not report facts, only talking points. Ignores or invents, the whole 9 yards. I watch snippets from time to time, or will catch Olbermann clips on the YouTube. I also refuse to watch Sunday Night Football, because he’s on the pre-game.

With the shooter, I fully expect the MSM to make him out as t be a victim of discrimination…”pushed by intolerance into taking extreme action…” They’ll have Doctors and psychologists telling us all how “intolerance” (refusing to embrace the left’s view of everything) caused this formerly loyal American to crack and go insane. In others words, it’ll be our fault, and probably Bush’s too.
