Okay, this is it, we, the staff at the Conservative Hideout are calling on you, our loyal readers. We MUST all contact these four Senators and express our thoughts on the Health Care legislation pending before the Senate and up for vote this Saturday. It may only be a vote for cloture, (to bring it to the floor for debate) but we need to defeat it NOW. These four Senators are thought to be “on the fence” about how to vote on this issue. In all reality, that means that they are probably being “wooed” by Reid, Emanuel and Obama. None the less, we must contact them and let our voices be heard.

Remember to be polite and civil and remind them that even if you are not in their state, their vote WILL affect you. It is my understanding that their phones are either off or the voice mail boxes are full; therefore we need to contact them via email. Now most Senator’s websites will kick emails with addresses from outside their states. So what I did was to fill in all the blanks with my info, except for the address and zip code. In those fields, I simply used an address for one of their state offices, but I of course used my name and phone number.
This takes just a minute or two and every email they get counts. This is the time we need to become Conservative Activists – it is an Official Conservative Hideout Surge!

I believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.
It is absolutely vital that as many people as possible get their points across to these Senators! The more we pass along our dissatisfaction with this bill the more hope we have of stopping it. Let’s not hesitate, just pick up the phone and do it. Thanks for the info Don!

bribe them, the Dems have sweetened the pot beyond recognition, with our money, of course. I did contact them, but I don’t know how much it will do.
(Sighs) They are going to try to vote on this steaming pile of goo today. More lies and deceit from the left to follow.
The vote in late on Saturday night and this kind of bill is always done under the cover of darkness. As of this moment the only uncommitted vote appears to be Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas. I very familiar with Arkansas politics and this lady is up for re-election in 2010. If she votes against her party the base will run a candidate against her in the Democratic Primary and she will lose. If she stays in lockstep with her party she will lose in the general election next fall. In either case her days in the Senate are numbered and that is one good thing that will come no matter how she votes tonight.
