It seems that the mystery surrounding the release of the emails and data from the CRU in Eastern England at the East Anglia University may have been the work of an insider.
Hat tip to examiner.com -
“The anonymous tipster, whom many people initially assumed had “hacked” into the computers at the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia (repeatedly called the “Hadley CRU,” by mistake), might in fact be a CRU insider who released the files for his own reasons.
The user, known only as “FOIA” (which now appears to be a reference to the British equivalent of the US Freedom of Information Act), left only one comment on The Air Vent to announce his release of his 61-MB ZIP archive. He has never been heard from since, nor has anyone stepped forward claiming to be that person since the story became widely known.”
Normally hackers will brag to someone about their feats, but this person has remained quite. And the author also notes that the language and code used in the materials suggest someone who had access to the data base and was logged in. This would seem to mean that somebody found the actions of the global warming alarmists to be at the very least morally wrong and wanted to do something about it.

Did he/she therefore chose the :
Open Letter Concerning a letter by 18 scientific organizations to the U.S.A Senate, 21st Oct.2009 , at:
http://www.whatisclimate.com/b202/_Open_Letter_Nov.pdf
online at THE AIR VENT since 13/11/2009
to make the point?
At least the author of the OPEN LETTER assumed so; see: Comment 21 , at: http://noconsensus.wordpress.com/2009/11/13/open-letter/
Wow, this is a great and explosive update, Matt.
You gotta hand it to the insiders! They know all the scandals
and where the bodies are buried. In every corrupt organization
there are always one or two people who expose the dirty deeds
at some point. The Smart Ones plan to when they get out of there…hee hee
Thanks Bunni, but the credit goes to Don on this one. Yeah, the problem with trying to hide something this big is that someone is always going to get discouraged, disgruntled, and have some guilt. Who knows, maybe someone will reveal themselves for their 15 minutes of fame?
Another interesting development Don. We’re going to have to sit back and see where this goes. I added some tags, BTW.
TY Matt. I posted this right before I left for work. On Saturday night, I work 3rd shift. I was checking my email right before I left and saw the article. I wanted to post it, but was in a bit of a hurry. Thanks for the tags.

no matter how much evidence surfaces my friend..it won’t stop their power grab!
Well, FOIA’s timing was superb. Perhaps it was from guilt over the scam foist upon the public.
Whatever the reason, whoever you are, thank you for that.
