We’ll be seeing many more of these in the future.

As discussed in the video, someone had taken the sign down, but Obamaville did get some attention.  Let’s see if it can go viral.

Matt

MattI believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.

That is disturbing. But of course, no one wants Obama’s name tarnished in connections with the rising unemployment. Heaven forbid a liberal actually take responsibility for their actions let alone let their beloved Obama take the fall for his.

Very true. It is tragic. And it’s only going to get worse. Once Obama’s taxes hit next year, and if they get cap and trade, more an more people will be put in this situation. It’s only fair to refer to these settlements by the name of their creator.

        Matt,

I know this is sort of off-topic, but what kind of information do you have concerning taxes in 2010? I know the man I work for is worried sick over some things his accountant told him and it has to do with the taxes on small business. He also says the accountant told him the employee taxes are going up as well.

For one, the Bush tax cuts are going to be allowed to expire. Also, taxes will go up on people earning over, if memory serves, $250,000. That will, of course, hit many small business owners. Then, if Cap and Trade and heath care passes, even more taxes will come. Then, compound that with the fact that most businesses will face the prospect of either raising prices, or laying off workers to pay for the taxes, we might see a snowball effect.

I would mention the “Making Work Pay” tax credit, but it was never a tax cut, even though Obama mentioned it as one. I believe it goes away too…just in time for some folks to realize that they’re going to owe on their taxes because of it.

From what I have been able to ascertain, the “Making Work Pay” tax credit will continue through 2010. It’s implementation has left much to be desired and that is why some people will be finding themselves with tax burdens they never meant to have.

I haven’t been able to sit down with my employer and have him explain his worries to me, but I do know he is extremely concerned about his taxes. I know for a fact that he does not make over $250,000 per year, but his accountant has told him he has reason to be concerned. He has been trying to pay down his debt and work towards retiring in a few years, but he is being forced to borrow money to make improvements on the business. Failing to do so will require him to pay much higher taxes. They are basically penalizing him for trying to pay off his debt obligations, but will reward him for going further into debt.

Obamaville, huh? There might be many more “Obamavilles” before this joker is through, like Hoovervilles.

That’s my thought too Karen, unfortunately.

I think the sign was spot on and may not have reflected the makers intentions. It highlights what Obama’s programs can lead to—Obamaville. The truth as usual is in the eye of the beholder!

The sad thing is, the sign that replaced it-the one that asks for help, is too small to be seen from the road!

Maybe Jimmy Buffet will write a song ’bout wasting away again in Obamaville. Some people claim that there’s a socialist to blame. But I know it’s his own darn fault.

The person who writes that song will be sent to Gitmo.

It would be so easy for people in the right positions to fix this sans the revolution to come. This miserable Marxist’s entire purpose, the reason he was groomed and bought into the Whitehouse, was for the destruction of this nation. 2 clicks in the ear piece, problem solved. We have the intel, we have the technique. Now if we just had patriots in the right place. Matt, go read what I just put up. http://cmblake6.wordpress.com/2009/12/14/i-never-heard-about-this/
And I tend to think it correct. It isn’t necessary. It could be fixed much more quickly.

I had to read what you were saying carefully. I thought you were advocating an assassination! You are right, we need the right people in the right places. We get our first crack at it is in 11 months. We need to find and support the tight people. That means most of the incumbents are out from both parties. We can put a stop to Obama in 2010, then send him back to Chicago in 2012. We have to remember that the current garbage that we’ve been dealing with is the result of decades of work by the left. We can do it quickly, by comparison, in a few years.

  • cmblake6 December 15, 2009 at 3:02 am

300,000,000 citizens, and we can’t find 545 PATRIOTS to run the place.

They’re out there, we just have to get them where they belong.
