Hilariously, many Democratic plans are being foiled by the Nor’easter that is pummeling the east coast. After almost a full month of record cold, and record early snows all over the US, I doubt those in charge of the left at all appreciate the irony.
DC snowstorm chills Pelosi’s global warming trip

From CNN White House Correspondent Ed HenryCopenhagen (CNN) – In a strange twist, a Washington snowstorm is forcing Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, to make an early departure from a global warming summit here in Denmark.
Pelosi told CNN that military officials leading her Congressional delegation have urged the 21 lawmakers to leave Copenhagen several hours earlier than scheduled on Saturday.
The Speaker said she has agreed to the new travel plan so that lawmakers can get back to Washington before much of the expected storm wallops the nation’s capital.
To Mr. Henry, it’ s only a strange twist if you fail to realize that the Earth is cooling. Did you notice that all of the delegates and protesters outside of the Hoaxenhagen conference were freezing…in the snow? Do you also realize that that up to two feet of global warming is about to fall on DC? How is that going to be explained away?
BTW, Sen. Reid, how do you expect to debate your vapor bill when all that global warming is closing the roads and keeping people from getting to work?
The more this goes on, the more I love the irony.

I believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.
If we’re lucky, that two feet of global warming will freeze everyone in the senate solid and they’ll crack and shatter and not have enough pieces left to vote for Obamacare.

I’m thinking of Terminator 2, and that they’ll just coalesce back into their original forms.

Many on the left do not think things through very well. If I wanted what they wanted, I would not hold my global warming conference in December. I would also pick some place hot, not Copenhagen. This lack of common sense is one reason why communism never works.
