One of the primary weapons in the Democratic arsenal this year has been the insult.  Now, we all know that they’re still following Alinsky’s methods.  After all, they can’t win a straight up debate, so they resort to childish name calling.  However, they fail to realize that we’ve read that book too, and are unfazed by their tantrums.

The latest “fit” has been thrown by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.).  Here are some of his statements…

They are desperate to break this president. They have ardent supporters who are nearly hysterical at the very election of President Barack Obama. The birthers, the fanatics, the people running around in right-wing militia and Aryan support groups, it is unbearable to them that President Barack Obama should exist. That is one powerful reason. It is not the only one.”

Can’t say much more than that.  The sad thing is, these people are hoping and praying that some whackjob takes a shot at the POTUS.  They are losing the debate, and badly at that.  Their popularity is dropping like a stone, and if the election were held today, most of these pretenders in Congress would be packing their bags for that last trip home.  They would love for someone to do something stupid to take the focus off of them, and onto an entire peaceful movement.   It will only take one event, and they, and their lapdogs in the media will parrot the same exact theme.

Even with all of the corruption, payoffs, greed, lies, deceptions, and insults, it is almost assured that ObamaCare will pass.  I think however, this will end up being a Pyrrhic victory, as when the taxes and other little hidden details of this bill create job losses and other miseries among the people, the win will turn to fail, giving the Republicans all the more ability to win the House and Senate next year.

MattI believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.

Well said Matt. I believe that many conservative law groups, such as Landmark Legal Foundation headed by Mark Levin will tie this up in the courts for years, rendering it ineffective.

They put enough junk in the thing, that there ought to be an abundance of factors to challenge.

I hope they tie this up in court and Obama doesn’t get to appoint another Supreme Court Justice.

I’ve been thinking, and it sounds cruel, but If we delay this thing endlessly, people may not see, or experience, how bad it is.

Unfortunately, most of the bad stuff from the healthcare bill won’t be noticeable until after 2012. Between the date of passing and 2012, the Obama administration will try to point out things that are improved because of the bill (all bogus – like his employment and economic claims). Then if a Republican is elected in the next election, they will get the blame when the “crap” of the healthcare bill hits the fan.

Mark my words . . . this is also in their playbook.

It is indeed in their playbook. However, a lot of the taxes and other requirements kick in immediately, which will inflict pain on employers and employees alike. This thing is a massive pile of fail no matter how it is implemented. If people feel the pain next year, it’ll only help to get the dems out of office faster.

I emailed Whitehouse twice today, once with my You Shall Not Pass! post and once about this. His days are numbered.

I wonder if he is intelligent to interpret your fantastic rant. I somehow doubt that.

Keep it up Snarky and you shall find yourself on the White House Official Enemies List.

Hell, he’s a carryover from the Clinton Administration enemy list! That’s probably not too much of an administration.

            Err, exaggeration, not administration.

There is an old saying that goes something like this, the person that is yelling the loudest during an argument is losing that argument. I think that the fact that Democrats are resorting to this kind of name calling is proof that we are winning this argument!
