Today they say will be one of the most historic days in America. I suppose that is true. There have been many historic days, most of which went unnoticed. Most of us mark historic days by points in time that others see as historic as well: Pearl Harbor, JFK’s assassination, Obama’s election, etc. Today is an historic day not so much for the vote that will take place this afternoon but for the “Fundamental Change” that Americans NOW see in their country. Whether Obama Care passes or fails we still have the same issues in place after the vote as before it.
Let me share this line of thought with you. Is it Obama that matters so much or is it his huge power brokers that funded the most expensive election in history. Is he the problem or is it the way the rats in congress follow this “pied piper” to their apparent demise. Did Obama cause the media to ignore the truth in favor of a lie or did he merely exploit it. Did his associations with Communists, Anarchists, Race and hate mongers, anti-Semitics, and all sorts of evil doers go unannounced or did the American people choose to ignore them.
You have to ask yourself why America trusted in a candidate with “NO” experience and this seedy, sketchy past. Surely there are many factors and most of them historic yet passing unannounced. Even now government is planning to pass a bill that everyone knows is not “the bill” but is the one America “can” swallow for now. In time they will pass whatever they wish. In truth they are doing that now. Has any nation ever fallen without events leading up to its fall? Surely not. Moreover, I suspect that there were many who cried out of the dangers. I also know that many would prefer to believe a lie rather that to hear the truth.
For months now thousands and thousands have been crying out that it is time to save our Republic. I have been in that number and I now recognize that today’s corruption is the result of years of apathy and indifference. I myself am guilty of too much tolerance and ignorance. Today I see what my inaction is costing me and I fear the price will be paid by my children and grandchildren. They have always looked to their dad and grandpa to have the answers and to do the right thing.
Surely we are all culpable; those who deceived us and those now feeling betrayed. So the question becomes what are we now prepared to do? We must make every legal effort at our disposal to remove Congress, Obama, and those in high office who do not love this Republic. If you want a communist utopia, find one and move there. If you want a hand out, put a shovel in it and do something. If you see your neighbor in need, help them up. If you see your government in corruption, help them “OUT”. Accept nothing as the truth that you do not know to be the truth; not my words or anyone else’s. Take personal responsibility for yourself. Be faithful to yourself, your family, and your community. Lastly remember that small things grow into great things whether desirable or abhorred.

NOTE: I published today’s blog because before this vote because I believe after the vote their will be elation or sadness. This vote is not the problem. The problem is systemic. A huge dose of moral and ethical penicillin from the people can end this Washington infection. Nothing less will do.

I believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.

You speak the truth Ken. Thank you. Many people need to hear it. I said in my post last night that we are, after all, Americans. We need to recognize a common enemy. The hard part is converting a selfish population to a thoughtful one. They have been so indoctrinated that they feel it is us who are in the wrong. We need to find several paths of action. Self preservation and education of the populace. I fear the two may be mutually exclusive in terms of personal safety in the coming future.

Even though it’s next to impossible to remain optimistic, the only thing I have to keep me sane and to offer encouragement is my faith that God is involved, whether they know it or not.
I thank you all for your words and support. Over the coming months I suspect that we are going to need the support of each other more than ever. Still, I suspect that the greatness of America, her people, will ultimately rise to the challenge.
Today was not a defeat but rather an unveiling of the Beast to be seen by all for its pervasive evil. Now we face the challenge to slay it; so help us God.
Our only hope is with the states. They control federal courts, they control the both houses of congress, and they control the White House. If we are to accomplish anything before the November election it will have to be on a state level.

I want my country back!
It seems like the ultra-liberals have been able to bribe and coerce enough congress-scumbags to pass the Obamacare. And as I said before, there would be hell to pay for this monstrosity. Obamacare is the very definition of unlimited government – the threat of which was forwarned by the Founding Fathers more than two centuries ago. The federal government, which is up to its neck in debt and unfunded liabilities, decided to launch the biggest entitlement of all times – the medical care for all. The spending on this new entitlement will surely dwarf many if not most of Federal programs and will make the bankruptcy of federal and state governments inevitable. The time of reckoning is at hand, brothers and sisters. Obamacare is the last breath of the liberal order – and it’s time to take America back from the party of thieves and looters.
All patriots of this nation must stand together and fight back. United we will win! There is no blue or red America anymore – there are only those that believe in America the beautiful, America the free, America the shining city on the hill – and those that believe in welfare socialism and government tyranny. Today, we fight not only for our personal well-being – but for the dignity and honor of this country, for the right to look into the eyes of our children and say – we defended this nation from the perils of socialism. In November 2010, we will answer the crucial questions of our times – are American people worthy of the efforts of the Founding Fathers? Will American people have to right to proudly say “We are Americans” – or they will forever live in infamy and indignity of welfare socialism?
I am glad that the Democratic Party passed the Rubicon. From now on, there is no coming back for the liberal elites, no talk of compromise and middle-ground. Today, it is abundantly clear that we either will live in Obama-America or America that our Founding Father envisioned. You cannot have both.
The November elections will be the most important elections in our lifetime. If you don’t vote for America in November – you don’t deserve to be called an American.
