I found this on YouTube and let me tell you after watching it I came to the conclusion that if you had any doubts about which side of the political ideological fence ACORN is standing, this should clear things up. This is a video clip of Bertha Lewis, CEO of ACORN, speaking at the winter conference of the young democratic socialists on March 25, 2010. First off, I find it quite disturbing that people like this actually live in a Republic that was founded on the principles of liberty and freedom. I respect their right to spew their garbage, but let’s be fair and call it like it is; ACORN is a radical organization with extreme views.
The MSM, with little to no evidence, would have all of us believe that the Tea Party protests are part of some type of rightwing extremist movement. And yet they seem to just give a free pass on this little speech from the CEO of one of the most controversial organizations in America. This is not surprising, but it is very sad and pathetic. Oh how things might be different if the MSM actually did their jobs as the watchdogs of the Republic. Well I guess that leaves it to us to get the word out.
The sound quality isn’t the best, but you’ll definitely get the picture.
After watching this I couldn’t help but think about how she delivered this speech. I mean it almost sounded cult like, talking about how some unseen force is coming after them. She told her audience that this will be a time for the socialist movement that will dwarf the McCarthy era and the internments of World War II. Talk about paranoid. It actually seeped from her. And what about her racist remarks. Wow, it’s absolutely mind boggling how she can get away with these comments about immigration and white people. Try to imagine if a Tea Partier made some of the statements she made during a Tea Party conference. The MSM would tear the entire movement to pieces. And to think, our tax dollars fund this organization that she wants all the little socialists in the room to build even bigger.
So I ask you, how can good people of good character stand for this in America? I mean they’re not even hiding the fact that they’re socialists with a radical agenda. It’s beyond me how we can allow an organization like ACORN which clearly has no respect for our Constitution or diversity to be funded by our money. Maybe each of us should email our elected representatives this link and ask them how an organization this radical and extreme deserves our tax dollars. This is what we’re up against folks and we had better wake up.
Oh yea did you notice how classy she was when she referred to the Tea Party movement as a bowel movement. Way to go Bertha, alienate 25 percent of the people with one stupid statement. She’s the gift that just keeps on giving.

I believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.
It is mind-boggling how blatant they are with their hatred of America.
It’s so true that if it had been a Tea Partier saying these things,
they’d be arrested.
I absolutely agree Bunni. They get a free pass from the press while Tea Partiers are hammered for standing up for the Constitution and the Founders. These are fringe organizations that we have allowed to have a word in public policy and I can’t fathom why. Can you imagine language like this caught on video 25 years ago? People and the press would have been outraged!
I saw this also on Flopping Aces, John. Good article and I must say that the Tea Party movement IS a bowel movement and the excrement we are eliminating is the RINOS and Leftists and Socialists the hell out of our Government.
Our first movement will be in November of this year and the second one will be in 2012.

Thanks Angel. It just turns my stomach to know we have people like this in our beloved America, spewing this garbage. These are fringe elements of society that have somehow wormed their way into the conversation and I don’t understand how we as a freedom loving people stand for this. Maybe I’m the radical.

You know Matt, I think she believes this to a point. She is a socialists, but she also understands the rules for radicals. I think it might be a little of both.
