To make it short and sweet, Think Progress screwed up, and screwed up big. They released a video that they claimed was “evidence” of the racism in the Tea Parties. However, like any “progressive” group, where there was no evidence, they made some up!
Several Bloggers have done the legwork on this, so all the credit goes to them.
There are several problems with this video.
Problem #1: The guy who made the “wetback” statement wasn’t at a Tea Party event. That video was from 2006.
Problem #2: Tea Party member #2, was an infiltrator from the “Crash the Party” event. He was identified and followed by real Tea Party folks, then tossed.
Notice that the sign says “Soros-Paid Stooge?” And who, at least partially funds Think Progress? Take a look at the picture and the video. Notice the selective editing.
Prophetic sign is prophetic.

Problem # 3: Confederate Yankee exposes the lie about Tea Party member #1

SO, the irony here is this; the left accused us of selectively editing footage all through the ObamaCare debates (forget that we were showing, at times, several minutes of footage). They accused us of making the black panther videos out to be something they are not. Take a look for yourself.
Will they say that this is selectively edited, or will they just ignore it?
To wrap it up, the Alinskyites over at the Soros funded Think Progress had a major swing and a miss. That won’t stop them, unfortunately, like other “progressive” organizations, they are “reality-optional.”

It amazes me the lengths these jerks go to do discredit us.
It is only going to get worse. People need to document everything, and
if confronted by a loon at an event, have the cams rolling and don’t say anything to them, they’ll just twist it around to make a person sound loonier than mel gibson.

Matt, thanks for leaving that note for me. Were you using the Chrome browser? So far it has happened to me twice on Chrome (before I removed it) and once to RR who was using Chrome. With Firefox and Safari it has not happened. I have a Mac and have spent considerable time since yesterday a.m. with Apple, run my own programs and used the Google diagnostics which says my site is fine.
Lonely Conservative also did some investigating for me and came up nothing.
After reading around the Internet, others are having this problem and it seems to be Chrome.
If you are using Chrome, I’ll send you some more info.

I have noticed something else. They cry racism then slowly back off those claims, then they do it again and back off the claim, this process keeps repeating its self. I think they are deliberately targeting ill-informed causal news viewer and readers. They thrive on the ill-informed.
Yes, the do that very consistently. They float a lie, get the MSM to cover it, and then, back off of it, but quietly. The MSM covers the smear, but not the backing away. Well done Trestin!
