As I’ve reviewed the past week.  I saw some interesting developments, such as the Oil spill is sealed, but there is still oil leaking from somewhere.  The Porkulus has not delivered us the “Summer of Recovery” that the POTUS keeps talking about.  Housing prices are down.  Unemployment is high.  Obama’s polling continues to nosedive.  People continue to lose their coverage because of ObamaCare.  The list can go on and on.  But what he we spent the most time discussing?  False charges of racism and the denial of the obvious Black Panther voter intimidation case.

Now, let’s take a look at the bigger picture.  For over a year now, we’ve been blasting away at the administration, their allies, and the MSM (or is that redundant?).  We’ve exposed the statements, writings, and previous actions of the POTUS, members of Congress, and the Czars.  We’ve exposed the contents and intent of legislation, and have chronicled that these are coming to pass.  We’ve covered what the MSM would not. We’ve exposed and theorized about Obama’s lack of action concerning the oil spill. We’ve organized, supported candidates, are busy taking over the GOP, and are educating our friends and neighbors as never before.  As a result, we have nominated Conservatives, retired RINOS, and have helped cause Obama’s polling drop like a stone.  We’re looking to win on November.

Thus, we’ve had the administration on the ropes for much of the past year.  They know that they are in trouble in November, and that they’ve lost the factual debate. In fact, they’ve consistently avoided having a debate, but that is another story.  When left without any other avenue with which to run in November, they have only Alinsky on which to rely.  So, they have increased the attacks.  The racism charge is the latest example.

So let’s take a look at what the racism attack does for the left.  For one, it’s the obvious attempt to discredit the messenger, so the message can be ignored.  But more importantly, it’s meant to take us off message, and respond to blatant lies rather than what is happening, and what we stand for.  I can only foresee that there will be more and more of this as time wears on.  Since the  “progressives” need to discredit and distract the movement, I think we can predict that there will be more false flag, more lies, more distractions, and more attacks (physical or otherwise).   Far too many folks on the left are like petulant children.  They have a limited repertoire of actions.  When confronted with resistance, they simply increase the frequency and intensity.  We won’t likely see much that is new, just repackaged lies, with greater effort.

I’m not saying that we shouldn’t correct lies, or expose their dishonesty-I see that as one of our purposes here at the CH 2.0.  However, we should take care not to be so distracted, that the message gets lost in the shuffle.  That is what our “progressive” friends want, and we cannot allow them to do that.

A Semi-related Thought:

I’ve noticed that lefties have been going after cameras.  They clearly don’t want anyone documenting their thuggery, and they want to intimidate anyone who might be bold enough to record them.  I think it might be a good idea for people to go out in numbers, be close enough to cover each other, and record any attacks.  They left may get one camera, but will they get the camera that was covering the first one? Or the second? Or the third?   Just a thought.

MattI believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.

You are right on! The liberals are losing this war and they know it so they are trying to attack us personally. This is being done to take us off message and distract us, we cannot let that happen and I do not think that we will.

I hope so too, Steve. We can’t fall for the game.

Let the insults and lies fly. It will only alienate the fence sittings that know better

I hope so, Trestin. Hopefully, the fence sitters won’t rely on the MSM for propaganda, I mean, information.

    Truth.

I’m just as guilty as anyone else of letting the left get me off my game with the racism stuff.

The one thing I would say is that race card has been so often that the Klansmen on the face has pretty much worn off. The left keeps playing it because they really have nothing else. Average people are starting to get tired of being called bigots, so the progressive strategy seems to be losing it’s power.

I agree. I think the MSM lost a ton of viewers by calling a great deal of it’s audience ignorant redneck racists. Believe it not, MSM, people don’t like that.

Matt, you’re smarts are showing! Their playbook is only a couple pages thick, we should be able to anticipate their actions and stay one step ahead of them.

They can be studied, and their actions predicted. It’s not that hard, It’s all variations on a theme,

  • Ken Minor July 20, 2010 at 11:02 pm

I am out of words for the left. I cannot understand them nor their actions. As such I think they are only to be observed and defeated but not understood.

They aren’t that hard to understand, Ken. Take some time to consider what they do, and their goals become clear. Their thinking is simple-elitism. Their philosophy is also simple- the ends justify the means. Their tools are lies, deceit, intimidation, and force. Understanding them is the key to defeating them. Once you have an idea of what they are up to, they are dirt simple to read.
