The 80′s Rocked. I wish I had cable so I could watch VH1 and all that.
Thanks Bunni. I was at a loss for an idea, then I caught stiff on VH1C.
You can watch them all of Youtube though.
Thanks for the link and you know I love the videos! And, I have to confess I’ve seen half the bands posted at one time or another live (Ratt, Tesla and Yngwie).
I do know, Steve. I’ve enjoyed all of the Guitar wars posts that you guys do.
BTW, love the new theme..
I saw Tesla life in Portland back in the day, opening for Def Leppard. DL should have stayed home and just let Tesla keep playing. They were awesome.
Funny thing is, I saw Tesla and Def Leppard a couple of years ago. I called it, the best tour of 1988, in 2008!
life s/b “live”. Grrr.
Matt, thanks for the link… those clips are reminiscent of my high school days (class of 88)!
No problem Sam. I’m class of ’87, so the music was at least good back then.
Keep on rockin’ with Dokken, dude.
Many thanks for the linkage.
By the way, it’s about time somebody recognize the awesome gals that can rock a Rule 5 post. For that, I salute you sir.
Dokken was my favorite of the era.
You’re welcome.
I salute the girls. They showed the will to follow the rules.
Thanks, Matt.
Question: Where did all that hair go?
Hard to tell. From all of the hairspray, it might have spontaneously combusted.
Thanks for the link Matt.
No KISS? Poison? Twisted Sister? Just kidding, it’s a great flashback.
Couldn’t do them all. I was NOT going to do Motley Crue. They sucked then, they probably still suck now.
Class of ’84 here, it is fun to look back on those days once in awhile isn’t it?
That it is Steve. Who would have know that an insomnia induced TV viewing would inspire such a post?
Thanks for the link, Matt. Lot’s of good reading here.
You’re welcome Larry.
