Oliver Stone is the latest of the moonbats to come out of the “Fuhrer Bunker” and endorse Anti-Semitism. NewsBusters has the coverage of this development.
Director Oliver Stone belittled the Holocaust during a shocking interview with the Sunday Times today, claiming that America’s focus on the Jewish massacre was a product of the “Jewish domination of the media.”
The director also defended Hitler and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and railed against the “powerful lobby” of Jews in America.
Stone said that his upcoming Showtime documentary series for “Secret History of America,” seeks to put Hitler and Communist dictator Joseph Stalin “in context.”
“Hitler was a Frankenstein but there was also a Dr Frankenstein. German industrialists, the Americans and the British. He had a lot of support,” Stone told Sunday Times’ reporter Camilla Long.
He’s actually correct there. The American left, particularly the “progressives,” LOVED Hitler. Ironically, that love was only tempered when the discrimination against Jews became too severe to overlook.
Stone said that, “Hitler did far more damage to the Russians than the Jewish people, 25 or 30 [million killed].”
The Sunday Times interviewer then asked why there was such a focus on the Holocaust.
“The Jewish domination of the media,” responded Stone. “”There’s a major lobby in the United States. They are hard workers. They stay on top of every comment, the most powerful lobby in Washington. Israel has f***** up United States foreign policy for years.”(Emphasis mine)
Put this guy at a KKK or NeoNazi rally, and that last statement would get a standing ovation.
When the interviewer pointed out that Chavez has had a less-than-stellar record on human rights, Stone immediately dismissed the criticism.
“The internet’s fully free [in Venezuela],” said Stone. “You can say what the hell you like. Compare it with all the other countries: Mexico, Guatemala, above all Colombia, which is a joke.”
Yes, we all know that Chavez absolutely loves freedom of speech.
While Stone has not been as blunt about his views on Jews and the Holocaust in the past, he has been outspoken in his fondness for Chavez and his disagreements with the U.S.’s policy on Iran.
On ABC’s Good Morning America on July 28, the director told anchor George Stephanopoulos that he “absolutely” believes Chavez is a good person, and claimed that there was “there’s no pattern of censorship in this country [Venezuela].”
This guy is the useful idiot of useful idiots. I doubt many would disagree.
For me, the Anti-Semitism present in Stone’s comments is alarming. We’ve seen increasing amounts of hatred towards Jews as of late, including calls for their extermination…coming from University campuses in the US! Remember this?
To my knowledge, there has been no condemnation of this, or the organization that openly supports terror and genocide, coming from the left.
To me, this represents a pattern. There are calls for terror and extermination, and they are coming from our political left. Instead of defending freedom and fighting hate, they blame the targets of that hate. Again, this is similar to what has happened in history. For example, the Nazis blamed the Jewish population for Kristallnacht.
If we fail to learn from history, we are condemned to repeat it.
Apparently, we, as a people, haven’t learned.

I believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom.

Good post Matt. Oliver Stone has always been a useful idiot for the leftists. Him, Sean Penn, and Danny Glover are all cut from the same fabric. And the color of the fabric is red.
Deep red at that. When I see one of them speaking, I think of all the people that were killed by Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Che, Castro, and any that I have forgotten, have killed.
I always end up asking myself, “do they realize that they will have to kill people by the millions to make their system work (as much as it can-which is not at all)?” I have to assume that they do.
I would expect this from anyone who supports Hugo Chavez! Its a old worn out message. I recently put a very poor vidio on utube on women of the IDF and the first comments came with a link to a David Duke video, in which he was saying the same thing Stone is now saying—Duke and Stone seem to have a lot in common!
That quote I bolded could be right from the KKK. Had I attributed that to Duke, no one would doubt it.
I know this isn’t a good example in light of his recent troubles, but remember the way that Mel Gibson was shunned by Hollywood after he made his anti-semetic remarks? I wonder if that is going to happen here to. I doubt it.
The difference is that Stone is a communist, and Gibson at least claims to be a Christian. That sets the lines for the left. Gibson could sodomize a minor like Roman Polanski, but he has to be a lib to get away with it.

As for the Jewish domination in the media, is that so stoned boy, is that why much of the media hates israel just like their muslim allies, because the media is full of jews, what a bloody idiot!
