Another week has come and gone, and the “let’s invent other issues to discuss other than Obama’s failure” campaign is in full swing. And it couldn’t come at a better time for the Obama administration, with gas prices rising, and more and more power plants closing due to regulations, they need all the cover they can get. Also, we saw the death of Monkees front man, Davey Jones, and closer to the Conservative heart, Andrew Breitbart passed away unexpectedly, and far too soon.
Of course we then had the mysterious type of birth control that costs over $1000 a year, and the fact that lefty activists think that we ought to be funding their sex lives.
I wonder what will be next?

I tell you this: I’m getting mighty fed up with the mainstream media not holding this administration’s feet to the fire as gasoline prices soar to the moon. I don’t drive much, so gas prices don’t personally affect me directly. But indirectly? Certainly! Just look at what’s going to happen to the cost of goods!
And those of us in the Northeast who are heating with oil are screwed. Converting to natural gas – IF it is available — costs nearly $10,000. I kid you not! I’ve checked.
I fill my tank once a pay. I use gas a discount card with a convenience store chain, as well as one with a grocery store chain. Even with an average of 40 cents off a gallon, it still costs me around $50 a pay to fill up. That’s a hit for anyone.
I last had oil heat in 2000. The last time I filled the tank, I paid $1.09 a gallon for heating oil. I shudder to think how much it is now. Thank God I have gas heat now.
$10,000 is steep…very steep.
