We’ve been talking about the enthusiasm problem that the Democrats are facing.  While Romney/Ryan events turn away thousands, Democratic events are smaller, and shrinking by the day.  The latest example comes from the People’s Republic of Massachusetts, where Elizabeth Warren held a rally, and no one seemed to show up.

But, this isn’t simply a story about the growing enthusiasm.  No, it’s also about the media bias that hides the enthusiasm gap.  Legal Insurrection has the  pic and video.  First up, the media coverage of the event…

Worcester Mayor Joseph Petty and five former mayors of the city gathered in front of City Hall to formally endorse Democratic hopeful Elizabeth Warren on Friday morning.

Former Mayors Joseph O’Brien, Former Mayor and currently Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray joined former Mayors Joseph O’Brien, John Anderson, and Paul Mullaney to echo Petty’s support for Warren in her bid to unseat Republican Senator Scott Brown. Former Mayor Ray Mariano did not attend the event, but signed on to the endorsement of Warren.

And no where in the article mentions what appears, or failed to appear at the event-namely attendees.  Here is a video taken at the rally…

Again, the Democrats are running on slightly less than empty.  If I were a sarcastic man, and I am, I would suggest that voter fraud will account for most the the Democratic vote next week.

You’re right, I think, about the voter fraud. I received this from a friend in Brevard, NC, just today:
I just returned from the Republican Headquarters…….Some disturbing news. There were two machines at the Early Voting Station that had a major flaw. When someone voted for Romney, and then went down the line to pick other candidates, the voting for Romney changed to Obama.

A guy came by and told the Rep. Headquarters about it, and he was asked if he told the people overseeing. He had repeated his vote which fixed his ballot, and he had not reported it (He had not hit the final vote button when he noticed what had happened.) This is what really worries me……there will be fraud, I know!

  • I have a bad feeling about this race, we are talking about Massachusetts here and Brown won because the Democrats took it for granted Coakley was going to win. They learned their lesson and unless Romney does better than expected I think Brown will lose. He might not be the most conservative Republican but if we are going to take control of the Senate we need him to hold on to his seat.

  • That is so embarrassing !!!
