I am an AmericanDon expertly explained his view…

old glory 001

I am an American.

I do not believe God tells me to kill all who do not believe in him.

I am an American.

I do not want my government to take my property, the fruit of my labors in order that it might redistribute it to those too lazy to work.

I am an American.

I want the borders of my country secure, so that those who truly want to be here and truly have something to contribute to my country will be welcome.

I am an American.

I do not wish to meddle in the affairs of other countries, except where it directly threatens the safety and security of my country.

I am an American.

I do not want my government interjecting itself into the affairs of private enterprise.

I am an American.

I do not want my government to tell me how to raise my children, or what to feed them.

I am an American.

I do not want my public schools to preach socialism, Communism, Marxism, totalitarianism or any other “ism” save for American-ism to my children. It is about time that we started recognizing our own culture for a change.

I am an American.

I want my children to be able to pray in school.

I am an American.

I do not want my children to have to pay for the excesses and out of control spending brought about by our current pack of politicians.

I am an American.

I want my elected leaders to read, understand and follow the Constitution of the United States of America; to the letter.

I am an American.

I do not want to have to pay 4, 5 or more dollars a gallon for gasoline because some government bureaucrat thinks we need to save the planet.

I am an American.

I do not want my evening news program to give me its slant on the news, even if that slant is one I agree with or not. Just report what happens and let me decide what I think.

HT-Dont Tread on Me-2

I am an American.

I want my elected leaders to be held to a responsible, reasonable, efficient budget because in my everyday life, I can only spend what I bring in, so they should as well.

I am an American.

I do not want my government to tell me that I no longer have the right to bear arms for the safety and security of my home and family.

I am an American.

I want to know that marriage is between one man and one woman. Everything else is a civil union, and those couples should receive the same rights and benefits afforded to married couples.

I am an American.

I believe that when it says our Creator granted us the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, that it should extend to ALL Americans; even unborn babies.

I am an American.

I feel that decisions have consequences and that our country would be vastly improved and better off if everyone had to be responsible for their own decisions.

I am an American.

I believe that you have the right to stand up and say whatever you want. And I believe this because so many before us have sacrificed life and limb to give us all that right.

I am an American.

I also believe that if I think there is something wrong with my government, or elected leaders that I can change that at the ballot box, or through speaking out, or by any number of ways protected to me by the 1st Amendment. I do not wish to use violent means, but I will not surrender the safety and security of my family because a politician says I cannot own a firearm.

I am an American.

I believe that God put me in the greatest country on his green earth, and that I want my children to have better, more and bigger opportunities that I have had.

I am an American – and a damn proud one at that.

Hat/Tip to Andrea Billups at Newsmax.

Our Divider-in-Chief is at it again. Once more, he is taking a swipe at Christians via the Religious Freedom law recently passed in Indiana.

President Barack Obama veered in and quickly out of a national debate over religious freedom legislation, calling out Christians as “less than loving” at an annual Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday in Washington, Mediaite reported.

“On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I am supposed to love,” Obama told the group, gathered at the Washington Hilton hotel, turning from his scripted speech.

“And I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned,” he said as the murmur in the crowd turned audible, Mediate said.

“But that’s a topic for another day… I was about to veer off. I’m pulling it back,” the president quickly added.

He then pivoted to his prepared remarks, which carried the flavor of civil rights speeches of the past.

“Where there is injustice we defend the oppressed,” Obama said. “Where there is disagreement, we treat each other with compassion and respect. Where there are differences, we find strength in our common humanity, knowing that we are all children of God.”

But what about the Christians being slaughter all over the Middle East, Mr. President? On in your own “home country” of Kenya?

According to CNN, 147 died and dozens were injured at the hands of Islamist gunmen on April 2.

NJ Catholic High School Fires Teacher For Posting Catholic Doctrine On Facebook

Share
Patricia Jannuzzi
Theology teacher Patricia Jannuzzi at Immaculata High was told to take down her Facebook page after agreeing with Catholic Doctrine and coming out against homosexuality.

It is a tenet of the Catholic faith that homosexuality is instrinsically disordered.

It is also a tenet of the Catholic faith that same-sex “marriage” is a mirage.

Alas, at Immaculata High School in Somerville, New Jersey, you can be Catholic and believe these truths, but you can’t post them on Facebook. Or mention them in a classroom.

Patricia Jannuzzi, the Immaculata High School teacher who was forced to remove her Facebook page by the school after making anti-gay posts, has been put on administrative leave.

The school notified alumni, parents and students in a letter today.

“This episode has reflected not only on this teacher but, by extension, on Immaculata High School,” the letter states. “We regret deeply any hurt this has caused to any individuals and the negative light in which it has cast our school.”

Jannuzzi, a theology teacher with Immaculata for 33 years, was forced to de-activate her Facebook page after an online petition — which now has more than 900 signatures — called attention to her posts.

Patricia Jannuzzi was sacked for affirming Catholic doctrine. Her catholic (yes, small c) employer caved to the homofascists. Note their characterization of her statements — “anti-gay” — instead of what they really are, Catholic teaching.

Why? Because noted theologian Susan Sarandon objected! Oh, and some homosexual bozo who had a bit part in a Real Housewives episode got his knickers in a twist too. The part where his tweet libels Rick Santorum? Yeah, that’s tolerance! dontcha know.

Because only Catholics are haters. Homosexuals are the epitome of reason and understanding. Their precious feelings must be assuaged, always.

Or they’ll call you names.

Stacy McCain calls out the hypocritical dichotomy.

While I am not Catholic, I am sufficiently acquainted with their doctrines on marriage and the family to conclude that Ms. Januzzi said nothing in her rant with which the Pope would disagree. And having spent the past several months researching radical feminism, I can say with absolute certainty that the “agenda” is exactly what Ms. Januzzi says it is. But the 21st-Century Thought Police can’t let the truth be spoken.

Let me quote more of Ms. Januzzi’s post. She was reacting emotionally to a story (“Crass: Gay Activist Tweets THIS To Ben Carson Following CNN Interview”) that she linked on her Facebook page, and her point was not very clearly made. She said gay activists, after using the “born that way” argument to gain status under the 14th Amendment “equal protection” clause, will then “argue everyone should be able to choose” homosexuality. Anyone familiar with feminist theory knows that radical lesbians have never accepted the “born that way” argument, instead advocating lesbianism as a “challenge to male supremacy and its basic institution of heterosexuality,” to quote Professor Sheila Jeffreys. This feminist perspective was celebrated in a 1973 song by Alix Dobkin, “Every Woman Can Be a Lesbian.”

The radical “choice” view of sexuality advocated by lesbian feminists is seldom heard from gay males, who usually describe their homosexual desires as an uncontrollable urge. However, one finds across the spectrum of the LGBT rainbow a unanimous consensus on what we might call the Compulsory Approval Doctrine:

No one can ever be permitted to express a personal aversion or moral objection to homosexual behavior.

Disapproval is synonymous with “hate,” according to gay activists, and the cultural consequence of the Compulsory Approval Doctrine is to stigmatize heterosexuality as an expression of prejudice. Many gay people have convinced themselves that the “straight” person’s rejection of homosexual behavior is implicit proof ofhomophobia — an irrational fear — so that all heterosexuals are basically viewed as ignorant bigots afflicted with neurotic sexual repression. And if you dare cite religious injunctions against homosexuality, you thereby prove that you are certainly a hater. Quod erat demonstrandum.

Because, apparently, disapproval of homosexual urges is tantamount to imposing a Death Sentence. I’m told that kids who believe they are gay are prone to commit suicide if they aren’t immediately celebrated with parades, balloons, confetti, and abject deference to the Inherent Moral Authority of their newfound sexual deviancy. Their feelings trump everything. Including reason.

Well, Bollocks!

Look: I’m old enough to remember when a boy could be suspended from public school if his hair was long enough to touch his shirt collar in back. I remember when a girl could get kicked off the cheerleading squad if she engaged in PDA (public display of affection) by holding hands with her boyfriend. There was a time — and not really that long ago, either — when young people could not demand approval from their elders, and in fact teenagers were constantly subjected to lectures of adult disapproval for their adolescent wildness. Yet we did not commit suicide, nor did we organize petitions to get our teachers fired because they disapproved of us, inter alia, smoking dope and listening to Led Zeppelin.

Our parents and teachers told us we were hellbound heathens and, once we grew up and looked back on our misspent youth, most of us agreed they were right. God forbid any of my kids should ever go wild like I went wild in the ’70s. America was still a free country back then, and adults weren’t expected to tiptoe around lest they bruise the fragile self-esteem of a Special Snowflake. Back then, totalitarianism was a threat posed by the Soviet Union. Now the totalitarians are here among us, organizing to suppress dissent, punishing expression of opinions contrary to those of the progressive elite.

Indeed.

The totalitarian Gay Mafia has punished Patricia Jannuzzi.

But, I suspect they aren’t done with her yet.

It’s not sufficient for her to lose her current job. She has to become unemployable. Her livelihood must be defenestrated. It’s the Godfather paradigm: make an example of one, and the rest will fall in line.

I ask you. What teacher at Immaculata will dare defend Catholic doctrine tomorrow?

And as Immaculata goes, so goes the Diocese of Metuchen. Bishop Bootkoski, please call Archbishop Cordileone. Pray together, so that we, your Catholic faithful, do not hang separately.

The comments at the original news article sadden me. The hatred and vitriol directed at Patricia Jannuzzi, and at Catholics in general, is staggering.

But it’s par for the course in Homosexualville, where the least tolerant and most judgmental people you’ll ever meet conspire to stamp out any vestiges of disagreement with their chosen lifestyle. They constantly seek affirmation of their debauchery, even as their consciences nag them from behind the brick wall they’ve erected to compartmentalize their sins. Because even the tiniest spark of righteousness shakes the very foundation of their licentiousness. Such is the fragility of their zeitgeist, censure is anathema.

Shame on Immaculata High School for abandoning Catholic doctrine, and for throwing one of their own into the lion’s den.

There are Christians in Iraq and Africa who refuse to renounce their faith even as they face certain death. Yet the administration at Immaculata cowers in fear at the mere thought of “anti-gay” publicity, as if their eternal souls would be tarnished by the approbrium of fornicating sodomites.

Shame on them, I say again. Now is not the time to go weak.

Homosexuality is wrong. It is contrary to nature, and to nature’s God.

Pray for the presecutors of Patricia Jannuzzi. Pray that their hearts may be opened, and that their sins might be forgiven. Pray for strength to resist the hordes of secularization. Pray that Almighty God has mercy on us all.

U.S. Christian Warriors In Iraq: Dwekh Nawsha – Keeping The Church Bells Ringing

A former U.S. soldier, who calls himself the “King of Nineveh,” is interviewed in Iraq, “in a makeshift military headquarters.” He says he wants to “keep the church bells of Iraq ringing:”

“Jesus tells us what you do unto the least of them, you do unto me,” said the 28-year-old from Detroit, who served an extended tour in Iraq in 2006 and 2007 and asked for his surname not to be published to protect his family at home. “I couldn’t sit back and watch what was happening, women being raped and sold wholesale.”

So in December he traveled to northern Iraq, where he joined a growing band of foreigners leaving their lives in the West behind to fight with newly formed Christian militias. The leaders of those militias say they’ve been swamped with hundreds of requests from veterans and volunteers from around the world who want to join them….

Brett’s group, Dwekh Nawsha, which means “self-sacrifice” in Aramaic, the ancient language spoken by Jesus, has only six Westerners among its 200 Iraqi Assyrian Christian fighters. ButEmanuel Khoshaba Youkhana, the secretary general of the Assyrian Patriotic Party, which funds the group, says more than 900 other foreigners have been in touch to find out how to join. Note the words “Assyrian Patriotic Party” in the paragraph above.

ISIS Takes Hundreds Of Christians Hostage After Overrunning Their Village In Syria…

ISIS fighters in iraq

Hat/Tip to WeaselZippers.

Weasel Zippers said it simply, and said it best:

Pray for their safety.

Members of the Islamic State (ISIS) stormed the Tell Tamer area in Syria on Monday morning, taking villagers hostage. The women and children were separated from the men, who were taken to the Abd al-Aziz mountains. The women remain in the village guarded by ISIS militants. It is unclear how many hostages the Islamic State took, but estimates are in the several hundreds.

After the separation, one of the hostages contacted a relative in Canada who then got in touch with A Demand For Action (ADFA), an organization that fosters protection for Assyrians, Chaldeans and Syriacs. The ADFA publicized the attack and hostage situation. Nuri Kino, the founder of ADFA, has been in touch with numerous relatives of those held hostage since the attack. “Many of them have relatives in Sweden and Germany,” Kino told Newsweek in a phone interview.

Kino and his organization attempted to reach villagers by phone, only to have a member of ISIS pick up. “[ISIS] told us that we should not call any longer since we cannot do anything about their situation,” ADFA said in a statement.

The terrorist organization demanded a prisoner exchange with Kurdish fighters; they are seeking the release of ISIS members in exchange for the villagers. The exact number of prisoners ISIS is looking to swap for is not known. They have threatened the lives of the village men, estimated to be more than 100, if the swap does not go through.

It is unclear how many ISIS fighters took part in the attack on the village. Kino said witnesses described the force as “massive” and the atmosphere as “a panic.” The villagers are predominantly Christian and jihadist tracking social media accounts indicate the terrorist group burned down a church during the attack. Last week, ISIS fighters in Libya targeted Christians, executing 21 Egyptian Coptics.

LA Public School Teaching Kids “Allah Is The One True God”

Islam-Green-Vector-Art-Wallpaper-1600x900

Hat/Tip to The Israel Video Network and Breitbart.

This is from a story in California, that happened late last year and the entire premise of this is unimaginable.

Parents of a boy enrolled in Manhattan Beach Middle School are pulling their son out of class because the school is teaching children the tents of Islam, Los Angeles news station KTLA reports.

The father said, “The audacity of this school, to think that they can sit these children down and teach ‘em whatever religion they please; it’s preposterous. This is illegal, basically. You can’t teach religion in schools any more, but apparently, in this particular school, at least, that’s not the case.”

Once again, the left is slithering its way into our lives and the lives of our children. Kinda reminds me of a serpent in a certain garden paradise…

Parents said they discovered that what their children were learning about Islam was more about the tenets of the faith than the history of the religion, according to KTLA.  One question asked the students to write down teachings from the Koran.

The father continued, “What I saw written in these bubbles was, ‘The one true God, Allah’ in one of the bubbles. In one of the other bubbles was ‘All people must submit to Allah,’ in another bubble. The I turned the page over and I see the five pillars of Islam.”

The boy’s father summed it up quite nicely.

“Can you imagine the outcry all over this country if children were bringing home paperwork that asked them to write down John 3:16, or asked them to write down the 10 Commandments?”

Tweet Of The Day: Jihad Is Result Of Evil American Colonialism…Oh Wait…A Brief History Of Radical Islamic Jihad

 Tweet of the Day!!

.

.

Like Ricky said, there’s some ‘splainin’ to do!

Here are the above mentioned battles/wars listed with a brief history of each:

  • Tours 732 a.d.
    • After the Jihad had trampled Spain in 711 C.E., the Muslim chieftain Emir Musa’s dream was to invade further by marching across the Pyrenees ranges into France and meet the Muslims marauding from the east through Byzantium, so that Islam could surround the Mediterranean Sea which would then become a Muslim Lake.
    • But Musa also secretly harbored ambitions to be an Emir of Europe independent of the Caliph for which he embezzled a disproportionate part of the ill gotten wealth from the looting during the Spanish campaign. This raised the Caliph’s suspicions about Musa. So Emir Musa was banished by the Caliph and he could not fulfill his aggressive dream. Consequently, the Muslim aggression against France was taken up by another Jihadi marauder named Abd-ur-Rahman.
    • Today, we might not realize the significance of the victory of the Franks (Ferrenghis – as the Muslims called them) over the Arabs, a few miles south of Paris in 732. Had it not been for this victory, the whole of Europe might have been Muslim today, and the history of Europe and perhaps that of the entire world would have been far more bloodied and darker as is that of the Middle East today.
  • Kosovo 1389 a.d.
    • In their effort to Islamize Europe, the Muslims repeatedly attacked the Byzantine empire, but they had been checkmated at Constantinople by the Byzantines for Eight Hundred years, from their very first siege of the city in 674 and repeated attacks that continued throughout the next eight hundred years. Constantinople stood like a sheet anchor, refusing to succumb to the Jihad, defying the Arabs.

After the eleventh century, the Turks emerged as the vanguard of the bloodied march of the Jihad. In their zeal as new converts to the blood-seeking, violent creed of Islam, they attacked the Byzantine empire at Manzikert in Eastern Anatolia in 1071.

    • The defeat suffered by the Slavic (Serbian) army at Kosovo Polje in 1389 smoothened the way for the Ottoman Jihad towards Hungary and Croatia – the targets of their future campaigns and military expeditions. But thanks to personal courage and decisiveness of Ivan Morovic, the Croat Viceroy of Macva, this attack was repulsed; however, the whole region became deserted and the frightened Croat population evacuated from their settlements.
  • Constantinople 1453 a.d.
    • After the Turks had softened the Balkans with these attacks, the Jihadis turned their attention to their main prize quarry, the Byzantine capital city of Constantinople, which they had been unable to take from the Asian side. Now with their foothold in Europe, led by Ottoman chieftain Sultan Mehmed II they attacked the city from the European side and finally after eight hundred years of coveting it, the Jihadis stormed it on an unfortunate Tuesday in the year 1453.
  • Vienna 1527 a.d. (aka The Battle of the Mohacs and lasted from 1527 – 1529)
    • Prior to the battle of Vienna in 1527, Muslims occupied and ruled Sicily. Here are their rules for the Christians they defeated:
      • The inhabitants of the Sicilian cities that had surrendered without fighting could keep on practicing the Christian religion but:
        – they had to bring identification marks on their suits and on their houses;
        – they had to pay more taxes (Jaziya);
        – they could not occupy positions that entailed authority over the Muslims;
        – they could not marry a Muslim (but a Muslim could marry a Christian);
        – they could not build new churches;
        – they could not ring Church bells;
        – they could not organize processions;
        – they could not read the Bible within the earshot of a Muslim;
        – they could not drink wine;
        – they had to get up when a Muslim entered the room;
        – they had to let the Muslims pass first in the public road;
        – they could not bear weapons;
        – they could not ride horses;
        – they could not saddle their mules;
        – they could not build great houses as those of the Muslims.
The Christian women could not have access to the baths.
    • The Battle of Mohacs opened with the refusal of the Hungarian king to accept Islam and surrender his land and self-respect to the Jihadi wolves. The earlier lessons of the experience which the Bulgars, Romanians, Croats and Serbs had had at the ruthless and cruel hands of the Jihadis was not entirely lost on the Hungarians. But Eastern Europe took a long time to realize the only successful way of defeating the Jihadis forever was to outmatch them in their bestiality, with the determination and ruthlessness of a hunter pitted against a wild beast.
    • In the spring of 1529, Suleiman mustered a great army in Ottoman Bulgaria, with the aim of securing control over all of Hungary and reducing the threat posed at his new borders by Ferdinand I and the Holy Roman Empire. Estimates of Suleiman’s army vary widely from 120,000 to more than 300,000 men mentioned by various chroniclers. There is some tendency by later, 18th-century European historians to exaggerate these figures to overstate the bravery of the outnumbered defenders of Vienna.
    • The Ottoman army which arrived in late September had been somewhat depleted during the long advance into Austrian territory, leaving Suleiman short of camels and heavy artillery. Many of his troops arrived at Vienna in a poor state of health after the tribulations of a long march through the thick of the European wet season and of those fit to fight, a third were light cavalry, or Sipahis, ill-suited for siege warfare. Three richly-dressed Austrian prisoners were dispatched as emissaries by the Sultan to negotiate the city’s surrender; Salm sent three richly-dressed Muslims back without a response.
    • Suleiman was facing critical shortages of supplies such as food and water, while casualties, sickness, and desertions began taking a toll on his army’s ranks. The janissaries began voicing their displeasure at the progression of events, demanding a decision on whether to remain or abandon the siege. The Sultan convened an official council on 12 October to deliberate the matter. It was decided to attempt one final, major assault on Vienna, an “all or nothing” gamble. Extra rewards were offered to the troops. However, this assault was also beaten back as, once again, the arquebuses and long pikes of the defenders prevailed. (Source – Reston, James Jr, Defenders of the Faith: Charles V, Suleyman the Magnificent, and the Battle for Europe, 1520–1536)
  • Vienna 1683 a.d.
    • Three hundred years ago, in the summer of 1683, the main army of the Ottoman Empire, a large and well-equipped force, besieged Vienna. The town was nearing the end of its ability to resist: but just as the capture of Vienna was becoming only a matter of time – not more than a week away, at most – an army came to its rescue. On September 12th, in an open battle before Vienna, the Ottoman army was defeated, and the city escaped pillage and destruction. (Source)

Coeur d’Alene Relents, Won’t Force Christian Ministers to Officiate Same-Sex “Weddings”

Share

 photo CoeurdAleneIdahoLogo_zpsae3fddb1.jpg

Shine a light on tyranny, and tyranny slinks away.

The city of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, said a for-profit wedding chapel owned by two ministers doesn’t have to perform same-sex marriages.

The city has been embroiled in controversy ever since the owners of the Hitching Post sued the city. They say a city anti-discrimination law threatened to force them to marry same-sex couples now that gay marriage is legal in Idaho.

The story lit up conservative and gay-rights blogs. Wedding chapel owners Donald and Evelyn Knapp said they feared jail time or fines if they declined marriage services to a same-sex couple.

Initially, the city said its anti-discrimination law did apply to the Hitching Post, since it is a commercial business. Earlier this week, Coeur d’Alene city attorney Mike Gridley sent a letter to the Knapps’ attorneys at the Alliance Defending Freedom saying the Hitching Post would have to become a not-for-profit to be exempt.

But Gridley said after further review, he determined the ordinance doesn’t specify non-profit or for-profit.

“After we’ve looked at this some more, we have come to the conclusion they would be exempt from our ordinance because they are a religious corporation,” Gridley explained.

Naturally, the LGBT folks reacted with tolerance and understanding. After all, everybody deserves to live freely as they see fit, right?

Just kidding, they went into full-tilt homofascist apoplexy. The vitriol spewed by the denizens of “equality” is breathtaking to behold.

Here’s some choice remarks from the gang at a site called LGBTQ Nation.

“The Christian Taliban need to stop breathing through their mouths, their breath stinks.”

“Not gonna lie, I’m very surprised at this. And while I still think it’s BS that a government-realized, for-profit business is given a religious exemption, I’m just going to sit on ACLU’s coattails and see where this goes. Hitching Post has put itself on the line. They are now a RELIGIOUS organization in public light. So the moment that they screw up and perform a non-religious business transaction, the ACLU and the Coeur d’Alene Attorney General will be on them in an instant.”

“Come on down to The Bigot Post!”

Classy. But no better than the associates of a fellow who pretentiously calls himself Joe. My. God.

“As always, anyone who uses the words ‘deeply held religious beliefs’ needs to be punches in their fucking face.”

“Fine. Assholes are assholes. Let’s just move on, and be glad that ADF does not get its test case. May their Religious Business die a quick death due to lack of Religious clientele.”

“So I guess the next time I go into a commercial business and discover it decorated in crosses with a prayer bench and its menu of services and/or products printed inside a Bible, I should realize I’ve entered the Twilight Zone, oh, my bad, I mean a ‘religious corporation’ that probably doesn’t want my gay dollars, right? I dunno, folks, but at some point I think there’s going to be a test IRS case or a lawsuit or both. You can legally stretch your deeply held effort to discriminate as a ‘for profit’ business only so much, if at all.”

“Look at what is happening in Houston. The attorneys are drawing back the subpoenas, but teabagistan is still claiming persecution and will soon be having a huge hate rally there.”

“If they want to play martyr, they should have kept it a business and suffered the slings and arrows of their homosexual overlords. Sounds like the Unruhs took the easiest possible way out. (I’m guessing they are tax-exempt now, too. Yippee!!)”

“Homosexual overlords” pretty much sums up what this is all about. Them, inposing their depravity on us. And making sure we can’t earn a living without genuflecting to their tyranny.

The homofascists will be back. They’re not going to stop until Cardinal Dolan is forced at gunpoint to don rainbow plumage for Adam and Steve’s Big Gay Saint Patrick’s Cathedral “wedding.”

Watch out for their next move, a better “test case.”

I spoke to Leo, the exec director of the Idaho ACLU. He is no happier than anyone else. They are constrained by the law, and I found them to be sincere and mournful over this.

We are going to work on bringing this to the courts, Idaho has several new laws working through the system that would bring this ‘Hitching Post’ issue back into focus.

When I spoke to them I was also very upset, but they were gracious and empathetic and they are not willing to accept this …they just need the right legal framework, one where it is not just a fight against this couples’ First Amendment rights.

Clearly the First Amendment means nothing to the homofascists. The “free exercise” of religion is anathema to their licentiousness, because it holds up a standard to which they cannot adhere. And so religious beliefs must be ridiculed, and ultimately eradicated, lest some hypothetical gay couple feel uncomfortable walking past a church.

The Hitching Post is hardly the only wedding venue in Coeur d’Alene, let alone the state of Idaho, or these United States of America. Homosexuals could ignore it, and go about their business freely and unobtrusively. Just imagine, the Knapps live in peace, and homosexuals exercise their misguided, but alas Constitutional right to “marry” surrounded by like-minded people who want their business. Everybody wins!

That’s what I call “tolerance.”

And, for one last thought, I’ll say again what I always say when the homofascists start screaming about “discrimination.” Pull your cater-to-me-or-else crap with a Muslim cleric or Islamic business. Let us know how that works out for you. That is, if you manage to leave with your head still attached.

Muslim Beheading Of Christians in America: Why Is That Not Headline News?

Share

What is up with America’s major news sources (MSM)? Apparently they saw no “political correctness” conflict in their reporting on the ISIS beheadings of American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff or British journalist David Haines. So, what changed since February 2013 when two Christians were beheaded by a Muslim in New Jersey? The Minority Report then and now Asylum Watch would like to know why the MSM has only now found their voice.  Of course the beheadings were covered extensively by the blogosphere. Here’s some excerpts from the linked article to refresh your memory:

Authorities in New Jersey allege a Muslim man beheaded two Coptic Christians, burying their bodies and heads and hands in separate graves near Philadelphia, bringing the horror of the persecution of Christians in Islamic nations to the United States.

According to New York’s WABC-TV, the Muslim was identified as Yusuf Ibrahim, 28. He was taken into custody after the bodies were found.

The report said investigators alleged Ibrahim killed the victims then severed their heads and hands, and buried the remains in the back yard of a home in Buena Vista, N.J.

The report said the victims were from the Coptic Christian community in the area. One of the victims had come from Egypt not many years ago.

While the report said police did not indicate a motive, friends of the victims wondered if it was something to do with religion.

So, the story was broken by a local ABC affiliate in New York and that was that. If you Google the story you will find page after page of entries from the alternative news sources, but not one from the MSM.

So, what are we to conclude? When it’s American or British journalists that are beheaded by Muslims in Iraq, it is news. When it’s Christians, be they in Egypt or Syria or Iraq or New Jersey. it is not news worthy.

I think there is a clear message being sent by America’s MSM, don’t you?

Well. that’s what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?

Raped And Slaughtered: Muslim Persecution Of Christians

Christian persecution

From one end of the Islamic world to the other, the abduction and rape of Christian girls at the hands of Muslims—both terrorists and
laymen—was a dominant theme in April.

On Easter Sunday morning, for instance, four Muslim men raped a 7-year-old Christian girl
named Sara in a Pakistani village. Last reported, the child was in an intensive care unit in “critical” condition. According to Asia News, “the police, instead of arresting the culprits, helped the local clan to kidnap the girl’s father; Iqbal Masih was taken and hidden in a secret place to ‘force the family not to report the story, to reach an agreement with the criminals and to avoid a dispute of a religious background.’”

According to a human rights lawyer involved in the case, “Such cases are frequent: abuse against women and girls by Muslim men are examples of how the minorities in Pakistan live under constant fear of persecution. We believe that many cases of violence go unreported.” A new report appearing in April by the Solidarity and Peace Movement—a coalition of NGOs, associations and institutions including the “Justice and Peace” Commission of the Pakistani Bishops—confirmed that “an estimated 700 cases per year involve Christian women, 300 Hindu girls…[T]he true extent of the problem is probably much bigger, since many cases are not reported.” (Click here for a better understanding of the extent of this tragedy.)

The biggest story, however, came from Nigeria, where the Islamic terrorist organization known as Boko Haram abducted nearly 300 teenage schoolgirls, mostly Christians. The group justified its actions in Islamic terms. Its leader, Abubakar Shekau, declared on video, “I abducted your girls. I will sell them on the market, by
Allah. …There is a market for selling humans. Allah says I should sell.”

The so-called mainstream media, which generally downplays or ignores Boko Haram’s terror campaign, actually reported on this particular atrocity, prompting Western authorities—who are much more accustomed to, and comfortable with, pretending these sorts of things do not exist—to respond in awkward, hypocritical and bewildering ways.

Secretary of State John Kerry, after saying the U.S. had been in touch with Nigeria “from day one” of the crisis, then asserted, “I think now the complications that have arisen have convinced everybody that there needs to be a greater effort. And it will begin immediately. I mean, literally, immediately.”

It is not clear to whom Kerry was referring when he said, “convinced everybody”—unless he was referring to himself. After all, there might not have been any need for “greater effort,” or the need to act “immediately. I mean, literally, immediately,” had Kerry only let the Nigerian government do its job a year ago, when it was waging a strong and successful offensive against Boko Haram in the same region in which the schoolgirls were kidnapped.

Back then,
in May 2013, soon after Nigerian forces killed 30 Boko Haram members, Reuters reported that “U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry issued a strongly worded statement [to the Nigerian president] saying: “We are … deeply concerned by credible allegations that Nigerian security forces are committing gross human rights violations, which, in turn, only escalate the violence and fuel extremism” from Boko Haram.

As for Kerry’s predecessor, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, she publicly bemoaned the lot of the kidnapped girls. “[It’s]
abominable, it’s criminal, it’s an act of terrorism and it really merits the fullest response possible,” she said from a position to help offer “the fullest response possible.” But she repeatedly refused to designate Boko Haram a “foreign terrorist organization,” despite the countless atrocities it had already committed; despite that under her tenure Boko Haram had boasted that it would “strike fear into the Christians of the power of Islam by kidnapping their women,” and despite extensive urging from the CIA, FBI, Justice Department, and several congressmen and senators.

Her logic was once voiced by her husband, former U.S. President Bill Clinton. In February 2012, he declared that “inequality” and “poverty” are “what’s fueling all this stuff“—a
reference to Boko Haram’s terror—and he warned the Nigerian government, “It is almost impossible to cure a problem based on violence with violence.”

The rest of April’s roundup of Muslim persecution of Christians around the world includes (but is not limited to) the following
accounts, listed by theme and country alphabetical order, not necessarily according to severity.

Muslim Slaughter of Christians

Afghanistan: Three Americans were shot and killed at a Kabul hospital funded by an American Christian charity. The murderer was a policeman employed as a security guard at the hospital. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for similar attacks this year, but issued no comment. Those killed were a doctor and a father and son visiting the hospital. “As they were walking out of the hospital, the security guard opened fire on them, killing three and wounding another one,” said a statement from the Interior Ministry. The attack was one of increasing attacks against Christians and Westerners in the country. Three weeks earlier, Associated Press photographer Anja Niedringhaus,
48, was killed and reporter Kathy Gannon, 60, wounded while they were sitting in the back of a car in the east of the country. Also in March, a gunman shot dead Swedish journalist Nils Horner, 51, outside a restaurant in Kabul.

Central African Republic: Father Labbe Christ Formane Willbona was slaughtered by Muslim herdsmen believed to be close to the Islamic rebel organization, Seleka. Local security sources reported that the corpse was mutilated before being buried.

Egypt: A Coptic Christian teacher at the Marzouk prep school in Minya province was shot in the head by a student belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood. Eyewitnesses said
that the student was caught smoking in class and was reprimanded. Apparently he decided to show his “infidel” teacher his place, and
therefore shot him in the head while he was returning home. Two more Christian Copts were killed in villages near Asyut, according to Agenzia Fides, during “sectarian clashes” over land disputes between a Coptic family and local Muslims.
On the same day as the Coptic funeral, a young Coptic entrepreneur, Mohsen Morris, was also kidnapped near Asyut. The kidnappers extracted a ransom of 250,000 Egyptian pounds [$35,000] from his family.

Libya: Three more Coptic Christians—all cousins—were targeted in post “Arab Spring” Libya. One was slaughtered
and brought back to Egypt to be buried in a Coptic cemetery; another, half dead, was carried back home in an ambulance, with a bullet lodged in his skull; another cousin disappeared and is believed to have been killed by Islamic militants. Islamic enmity for Christians has been regularly on display in Libya after the U.S.-supported “Arab Spring”: Christians—including Americans—have been tortured and killed (often for refusing to convert) and churches bombed. Earlier, Islamic militants said they would reward
any Muslim who finds and kills Christians. Such persecution did not occur under the leadership of the late Colonel Moammar Gaddafi.

Pakistan: A Muslim security guard is accused of murdering a Christian worker who refused to convert to Islam. According to Morning Star News,

Sunny Masih, a father of two, was working as a cleaner at a branch of Bank Islami under construction on Nisbat Road in Lahore. On Wednesday morning (April 16), the bank security guard informed police that Masih had shot himself in the forehead with a pump-action shotgun that the guard had left unattended before going to the washroom.

The guard, Omar Farooq, of Khushab District in central Punjab Province, told police that Masih “looked depressed” when he arrived at the bank at 8 a.m. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iqbal of the Nolakha Police
told Morning Star News that Farooq told officers Masih was in the lobby of the bank when Farooq went to the washroom, leaving his weapon unattended.

Haider Masih, father of the deceased, told Morning Star News that his
son was a lively young man and had shown no signs of depression.

On April 15, my son told me that Farooq had mocked his Christian faith and had asked him to ‘embrace’ Islam. He told my son, ‘You are a good-looking boy, and I don’t like to see you sweeping floors and
cleaning the washrooms. If you embrace Islam, I’ll connect you with people who will take good care of you, provide you with a decent job and even get you married into a wealthy Muslim family.’”

Masih said his son told Farooq that he was satisfied with his Christian faith, and that he should stop nagging him.

“My son told me that when he snubbed Farooq, the guard had threatened him that he would have to face the consequences for refusing the Dawaat [an invitation to accept Islam],” the grieving told Morning Star News at the Mayo Hospital mortuary. “I took the matter lightly and told my son not to worry, as being Christians we have to face such people every second day. I told Sunny to avoid discussing religion with Farooq even if he brought up the matter and keep distance from him, and everything would be alright. Little did I know that my son would end up in a mortuary a day later.”

According to a Christian activist involved in the case,

Masih was hit on the forehead just above his eyes, and his skull and brain were completely blown away by the impact at point blank range. The doctor said he found it hard to believe that Masih could have shot himself in the head with a big weapon such as a shotgun. This is what we want the police to find out, but instead they are trying to cover up the matter. We believe the police are showing bias in its probe because it involves a ‘righteous Muslim’ who was trying to convert a Christian.

Syria: Frans van der Lugt—a 76-year-old Jesuit priest from the Netherlands who had established a community center and farm near the city of Homs where he had worked for over forty years for the betterment of people with disabilities and for Christian-Muslim harmony—was shot dead in the garden of the community center. After the Islamist-led siege of Homs, the priest continued to care for the sick and the hungry. In early 2014 he made a number of YouTube videos, asking the international community to help the besieged city. Yet he chose to remain in Homs, struggling with the daily bombings and the lack of food, until he was slain.

Uganda: The teenage daughter of a Muslim man managed to attend one church service after converting to Christianity before her father killed her.
Abdul Hakim Ibanda severely beat his 17-year-old daughter and her 19-year-old sister with a blunt instrument after learning that they had attended a church service on April 6. The surviving sister said, “On Sunday morning we arrived at the United Believers Church… After prayers we then went to church, where the pastor introduced us to the church and that we were new members of the church. The church faithful were cheerful to receive us.” However, local Muslims who saw them enter the church immediately reported it to the father. He gathered a group of 32 “youths” to attack the church but the mob was eventually dispersed without incident. When the girls returned home, the father, described as “furious,” began questioning and eventually beating them with a blunt object, killing the girl. According to the pastor of the majority-Christian nation, where Muslims make some 11.5 percent, “The girl [surviving sister] is still traumatized as a result of the death of her sister and needs prayers and counseling.” Said the girl: “I know I cannot go back to my father because I have become a Christian. I am grateful to the church for welcoming me and taking me as their child. I
now have a new home.”

Muslim Attacks on Christian Churches

Austria: After reportedly listening to Muslim chants, a man, known only as Ibrahim A., went on a church-vandalizing spree, desecrating four churches. According to the Vienna Times, “the attack left Lazaristenkirche with all of its statues and side altars largely destroyed as well as statues damaged at St. Stephen’s, the Breitenfeld church in Josefstadt and the Neuottakring church in Ottakring.” The Archbishop of Vienna described the attack on churches as “so far the worst act of vandalism in my time as Archbishop…. I am shocked by the devastation in the churches. I hope that the perpetrator or perpetrators did not know what they were doing.”
Ibrahim A., 37-years-old, was caught in the act of vandalizing St. Stephan’s but was released at the time because police did not realize it was one of many attacks that that had been carried out that day. Police have since been unable to find him.

Nigeria: According to AP, “Witnesses and an official say angry Muslim youths set ablaze a Catholic church and tried to destroy an attached school in northern Nigeria over an alleged insult to the Prophet Muhammad. Witness Tukur Musa says soldiers on Monday stopped the mob from setting ablaze the school in Funtua town in Katsina state, but they arrived too late to save St. Rita Catholic
Church. He says the town was in an uproar about an examination question last week which they considered an insult to the Prophet Muhammad. They reported the matter to district authorities. When no action was taken, young Muslims attacked. Deputy Police Superintendent Aminu Abubakar Saddiq confirmed the church was burned and school damaged but said no one was injured. Religious strife is common in central and northern Nigeria.” Also, during early Easter Sunday morning, unknown gunmen, later attributed to the Islamic terrorist organization Boko Haram, launched an attack on the Christian-majority regions of Taraba State. The Christian Church of Nigeria was burned down, as well as many Christian homes. At least 15 corpses were seen littering on the streets.

Syria: Gregorios III Laham, Greek-Melkite Catholic patriarch of Antioch, visited some of the dozens of Christian churches hit by Islamic rebels, particularly churches in the historic town of Ma’aloula, where the Christian inhabitants still spoke Aramaic, the language of Jesus, and where some were executed for refusing to convert to Islam. (Click here for several pictures of the types of desecration that churches undergo if they fall into the hands of the Islamic terrorists. In St. Mary’s Greek Catholic Church alone, icons had their faces scratched out, church pews broken, statues of the Virgin Mary and Christ smashed, and Bibles burned.) In the prelate’s words: “An apocalyptic spectacle presented itself. Other churches have been destroyed in Syria, but I have never seen anything like this. I cried and I sought in vain a moment of solitude to pray. I
am heartbroken. Ma’aloula’s four historic churches were hit. Our parish church, dedicated to Saint George, is riddled with bullets. The convent’s dome was damaged in two places. The walls were ripped open by cannon fire. Some parts of the convent is in danger of collapsing and must be rebuilt. The icons are scattered on the floor, dirty, or stolen. It is currently completely uninhabitable.” The patriarch further described the wanton destruction of churches as a “war crime.”

Attacks on Christian Freedom: Apostasy, Blasphemy, Proselytism

Malaysia: An Islamic organization known as Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia accused a Christian church of trying to evangelize to Muslims,
simply because they used Bahasa Malaysia, the national language, for an Easter pageant. The organization’s website said that while freedom of religion for non-Muslims was guaranteed by the Federal Constitution, the open use of Bahasa Malaysia to promote the event outside the church compound was an abuse of this liberty. The organization also called on Muslim officials “to closely monitor this Easter Musical.” It further declared that “the notion of Easter was against Islam.” In Malaysia — regularly portrayed in the West as an example of a moderate Muslim nation—any attempt to promote religions other than Islam is illegal.

Pakistan: Eight days after a court in Lahore sentenced Sawan Masih, a Christian man, to death for allegedly insulting Islam’s prophet,
Muhammad, another illiterate Christian couple in Punjab Province was sentenced to death for allegedly sending blasphemous text messages. Along with Asia Bibi, a wife and mother incarcerated since 2010, there are now four Christians on death row in Pakistan for allegedly blaspheming Islam or its founder. Also, a Muslim landlord almost beat to death his Christian tenant and employee, Saleem Masih, for observing Easter. According to Mushtaq Gill, a Christian activist and lawyer, because Saleem took time off to observe Easter, “the landlord became furious and beat him severely. He was eventually rescued and saved by some other villagers, otherwise he could have been beaten to death.” Gill added that many other Christian field workers “are forced into bonded labour, denied minimum wages and harassed and implicated in fake cases if they
try to resist the oppression of their influential masters.” As for Mushtaq Gill, the Christian lawyer representing these Christians, he is facing death threats. In his own words: “On April 2, a stranger came to the Lahore Court and warned me that I might be attacked or involved in some fake criminal
cases or even killed.” Such threats are not limited to “extremists.” Gil received information that he could also be expelled and barred from practicing law. “What am I supposed to do, stop?” said Gil. “Psalm 118 says: ‘The Lord is with me, I have no fear of anything. What can man do to me?’ My other colleagues and I have been threatened and attacked several times by strangers because of our work for human rights in Pakistan. But we are not afraid. We know that we could be killed because we support the campaign for the abolition of the blasphemy law. But this will not close our mouth and will not stop our work on human rights. The Lord tells us to have courage.”

Uganda: Muslim relatives of a convert to Christianity tried to poison him to death. Hassan Muwanguzi converted to Christianity in 2003. Soon thereafter, his wife left him and he was fired from his job as a schoolteacher. Most recently, he was hospitalized after an aunt put insecticide in his tea. According to Hassan: “After eating and taking tea, I started feeling stomachache, then I realized that she was the one responsible for it—and I believe she did not do it alone, since they have been hunting for me directly and indirectly, because when I left them and converted to Christianity it pained them so much. The reason they want to kill me is very clear—it is because of being a convert to Christianity; above all, to them it is like I brought shame by converting…” During the family meeting, when he started to feel ill, he telephoned a local Christian bishop, who advised him that he should leave secretly. “I knew if he were to mention to them that he was getting sick, they would harm him more,” said Bishop Kinyewa.

Uzbekistan: Christians are being prevented from burying their dead in the state cemeteries of the Muslim-majority nation. There have been three known cases so far this year. Most recently, the family of Gayrat Buriyev, who died on 9 April, was told by officials, “The cemetery is state property, but is under the management of the local mosque, and if the imam is against the burial then it will not take place. And the local imam said he was “acting in accordance with sharia law,” even though Uzbekistan is officially a secular state. The imam also cursed the family for being Christians, calling them “unclean and defiled infidels.” Although they took the matter to local authorities, officials refused to intervene, siding with the imam. (According to Islamic teaching, being buried next to an “infidel” could cause the Muslim corpse to suffer the “torments of the grave.”)

About this Series

While not all, or even most, Muslims are involved, persecution of Christians is expanding. “Muslim Persecution of Christians” was
developed to collate some—by no means all—of the instances of persecution that surface each month.

It documents what the mainstream media often fails to report.

It posits that such persecution is not random but systematic, and takes place in all languages ethnicities and locations.

Prayer for Injured Teen Sparks Atheist Outrage

Hat/Tip to Todd Starnes at Fox News.

It Truly Takes a Special Kind of Evil to Threaten Americans Because They Prayed Over an Injured Child

At a recent high school football game in Florida, a player got injured and lay out on the field. His teammates took a knee and bowed their heads to pray for their teammate and friend.

The injured player was on the ground being tended to by trainers and coaches.

So the Seminole High School football team did what many football teams do. The teenage boys took a knee, bowed their heads and prayed for their injured teammate.

Just that lone act was enough to get the looney tunes coming out of the woodwork.

But that simple act of compassion and humanity in Sanford, Florida sparked outrage from the Freedom From Religion Foundation – a group of perpetually offended atheists from Wisconsin.
An FFRF attorney fired off a letter to the superintendent of Seminole County Public Schools – accusing them of having an adult lead the prayer for the injured child.

A school district spokesman told me the injured child, who is the son of the team’s head coach, has since rejoined the team.

But at least the looney tune Atheists can do nothing about this, because for once, someone on our side stood up to the Atheist/Bully crowd!

The school district said the prayer was instigated by students and denied that a chaplain prayed with the team. School spokesman Mike Blasewitz told MyNews13.com that the school doesn’t even have a team chaplain, contrary to the FFRF’s allegations.

“There is nothing to cease and desist because our behavior was within the guidelines in the first place,” he told television station WFTV. “No adults in the photo, no adults participating, no adults leading it.”

Seidel told me in a written statement that he’s satisfied with the school’s response – and they now consider the matter closed.
