Tweet of the Day!!

.

.

Like Ricky said, there’s some ‘splainin’ to do!

Here are the above mentioned battles/wars listed with a brief history of each:

  • Tours 732 a.d.
    • After the Jihad had trampled Spain in 711 C.E., the Muslim chieftain Emir Musa’s dream was to invade further by marching across the Pyrenees ranges into France and meet the Muslims marauding from the east through Byzantium, so that Islam could surround the Mediterranean Sea which would then become a Muslim Lake.
    • But Musa also secretly harbored ambitions to be an Emir of Europe independent of the Caliph for which he embezzled a disproportionate part of the ill gotten wealth from the looting during the Spanish campaign. This raised the Caliph’s suspicions about Musa. So Emir Musa was banished by the Caliph and he could not fulfill his aggressive dream. Consequently, the Muslim aggression against France was taken up by another Jihadi marauder named Abd-ur-Rahman.
    • Today, we might not realize the significance of the victory of the Franks (Ferrenghis – as the Muslims called them) over the Arabs, a few miles south of Paris in 732. Had it not been for this victory, the whole of Europe might have been Muslim today, and the history of Europe and perhaps that of the entire world would have been far more bloodied and darker as is that of the Middle East today.
  • Kosovo 1389 a.d.
    • In their effort to Islamize Europe, the Muslims repeatedly attacked the Byzantine empire, but they had been checkmated at Constantinople by the Byzantines for Eight Hundred years, from their very first siege of the city in 674 and repeated attacks that continued throughout the next eight hundred years. Constantinople stood like a sheet anchor, refusing to succumb to the Jihad, defying the Arabs.After the eleventh century, the Turks emerged as the vanguard of the bloodied march of the Jihad. In their zeal as new converts to the blood-seeking, violent creed of Islam, they attacked the Byzantine empire at Manzikert in Eastern Anatolia in 1071.
    • The defeat suffered by the Slavic (Serbian) army at Kosovo Polje in 1389 smoothened the way for the Ottoman Jihad towards Hungary and Croatia – the targets of their future campaigns and military expeditions. But thanks to personal courage and decisiveness of Ivan Morovic, the Croat Viceroy of Macva, this attack was repulsed; however, the whole region became deserted and the frightened Croat population evacuated from their settlements.
  • Constantinople 1453 a.d.
    • After the Turks had softened the Balkans with these attacks, the Jihadis turned their attention to their main prize quarry, the Byzantine capital city of Constantinople, which they had been unable to take from the Asian side. Now with their foothold in Europe, led by Ottoman chieftain Sultan Mehmed II they attacked the city from the European side and finally after eight hundred years of coveting it, the Jihadis stormed it on an unfortunate Tuesday in the year 1453.
  • Vienna 1527 a.d. (aka The Battle of the Mohacs and lasted from 1527 – 1529)
    • Prior to the battle of Vienna in 1527, Muslims occupied and ruled Sicily. Here are their rules for the Christians they defeated:
      • The inhabitants of the Sicilian cities that had surrendered without fighting could keep on practicing the Christian religion but:
        – they had to bring identification marks on their suits and on their houses;
        – they had to pay more taxes (Jaziya);
        – they could not occupy positions that entailed authority over the Muslims;
        – they could not marry a Muslim (but a Muslim could marry a Christian);
        – they could not build new churches;
        – they could not ring Church bells;
        – they could not organize processions;
        – they could not read the Bible within the earshot of a Muslim;
        – they could not drink wine;
        – they had to get up when a Muslim entered the room;
        – they had to let the Muslims pass first in the public road;
        – they could not bear weapons;
        – they could not ride horses;
        – they could not saddle their mules;
        – they could not build great houses as those of the Muslims.
        The Christian women could not have access to the baths.
    • The Battle of Mohacs opened with the refusal of the Hungarian king to accept Islam and surrender his land and self-respect to the Jihadi wolves. The earlier lessons of the experience which the Bulgars, Romanians, Croats and Serbs had had at the ruthless and cruel hands of the Jihadis was not entirely lost on the Hungarians. But Eastern Europe took a long time to realize the only successful way of defeating the Jihadis forever was to outmatch them in their bestiality, with the determination and ruthlessness of a hunter pitted against a wild beast.
    • In the spring of 1529, Suleiman mustered a great army in Ottoman Bulgaria, with the aim of securing control over all of Hungary and reducing the threat posed at his new borders by Ferdinand I and the Holy Roman Empire. Estimates of Suleiman’s army vary widely from 120,000 to more than 300,000 men mentioned by various chroniclers. There is some tendency by later, 18th-century European historians to exaggerate these figures to overstate the bravery of the outnumbered defenders of Vienna.
    • The Ottoman army which arrived in late September had been somewhat depleted during the long advance into Austrian territory, leaving Suleiman short of camels and heavy artillery. Many of his troops arrived at Vienna in a poor state of health after the tribulations of a long march through the thick of the European wet season and of those fit to fight, a third were light cavalry, or Sipahis, ill-suited for siege warfare. Three richly-dressed Austrian prisoners were dispatched as emissaries by the Sultan to negotiate the city’s surrender; Salm sent three richly-dressed Muslims back without a response.
    • Suleiman was facing critical shortages of supplies such as food and water, while casualties, sickness, and desertions began taking a toll on his army’s ranks. The janissaries began voicing their displeasure at the progression of events, demanding a decision on whether to remain or abandon the siege. The Sultan convened an official council on 12 October to deliberate the matter. It was decided to attempt one final, major assault on Vienna, an “all or nothing” gamble. Extra rewards were offered to the troops. However, this assault was also beaten back as, once again, the arquebuses and long pikes of the defenders prevailed. (Source – Reston, James Jr, Defenders of the Faith: Charles V, Suleyman the Magnificent, and the Battle for Europe, 1520–1536)
  • Vienna 1683 a.d.
    • Three hundred years ago, in the summer of 1683, the main army of the Ottoman Empire, a large and well-equipped force, besieged Vienna. The town was nearing the end of its ability to resist: but just as the capture of Vienna was becoming only a matter of time – not more than a week away, at most – an army came to its rescue. On September 12th, in an open battle before Vienna, the Ottoman army was defeated, and the city escaped pillage and destruction. (Source)

Bobby Jindal Suggests Christians Being Discriminated Against

We are reaching a point in this country where we are seeing more and more dominoes fall.  One freedom after another-one law protecting the Constitution after another, are all falling at the feet of the nanny state.  One of the latest to fall under attack is religious liberty.  Bobby Jindal had some commentary on one of the talking head Sunday shows.  Here is more…

Of course, regressives will rejoice at the attacks against Christians as part of their campaign to eliminate all references to the Judeo-Christian God.  What they will not rejoice in is the coming time when the government that they helped empower turns their attention to them.    Useful idiots, once they cease being useful, are unceremoniously discarded.  Of course, we won’t be around then to help them.

Chick-Fil-A Acts Like Christians, Liberals Silent

Share

Once again, the despicable and evil Christian owners of Chick-Fil-A have committed more acts on intolerant evil.  After failed boycotts, and hate filled rhetoric from tolerant regressives, Chick-Fil-A marches on.  Here is their latest act of intolerance and evil…

Chick-fil-A, the restaurant chain that liberals have attacked so viciously and labeled as evil, has once again come to the aid of members of their community in a show of support for the family of a fallen sheriff’s deputy killed in action.

Utah County Sgt. Cory Wrie was shot and killed by a 17-year-old female suspect last year during a traffic stop, an event that left his family and friends shaken, including his wife and 12-year-old daughter, Macklin.

Wride’s family wants nothing more than to travel to this year’s National Police Week Memorial taking place in Washington, D.C., and thanks to Chick-fil-A teaming up with a national organization known as Concerns Of Police Survivors, that’s going to become a reality.

The organization, COPS, helps families of police officers killed in action emotionally, mentally and financially. They differ from similar organizations in that they assist the entire family of a fallen officer as opposed to just the widow and children.

Those evil Christians are acting like Christians again!

Pope Francis Condemns “Complicit Silence” Regarding the Slaughter of Christians

Share

Pope Francis condemned what he referred to as “complicit silence” involving the ever increasing slaughter of Christians around the world.  Truth Revolt has more…

Recalling the passion of Jesus, Pope Francis compared Christ’s life to the brutal persecution of modern-day Christians — including those beheaded by Islamic terrorists and the students slaughtered in Kenya al Shabaab, a Muslim militant group.

“In you, divine love, we still see today our persecuted brothers, beheaded and crucified for their faith in you, before our eyes or often with our silent complicity,” the Pope said Friday in a massive service at the Colosseum in Rome.

His Saturday remarks were far tamer than those Friday, when he said:

“In Your innocence, immaculate Lamb, we see our guilt. In Your face slapped, spat upon and disfigured, we see all the brutality of our sins. In the cruelties of Your Passion, we see the cruelty of our hearts and our actions. In Your feeling ‘abandoned,’ we see all those abandoned by their families and by society.”

At the end of his Friday prayer, the Pope asked that Christians might experience “sorrow for our sins that will bring us to repent for our sins that crucified You.”

Sadly, the persecution, and the killings that go with them, is only growing.  And, it isn’t likely to slow down, let alone stop, anytime soon.

So, on this day, pray for peace, but prepare for hate and violence, as we know that the world in going to hate us because of Jesus.

Anti-Semitism Alert: Vienna Crowd Chants ‘Kill, Kill the Jews’

Share

It seems that when you leave regressives alone long enough, the unmask themselves and state their true intentions.  We’ve been saying, for some time, that so much of the current anti-Israel/pro-palestinian is thinly veiled anti-Semitism.  Clearly, the people supported by the regressives have the openly stated purpose of exterminating the Jews.    The unmasking continued in Vienna, when a crowd of tolerance tolerantly called for the tolerant extermination of intolerant Jews.  Legal Insurrection has more…

We saw it throughout Europe in the summer of 2014, as well as in multiple U.S. cities. And we have seen anti-Zionism easily morph into blatant anti-Semitism on many campuses. It’s why in Europe Walking While Jewish is so dangerous.

And it just happened again in Vienna, Austria. The Times of Israel reports:

Bosnian soccer fans joined a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Vienna on Friday and shouted anti-Semitic epithets in one of the city’s central plazas, Austrian newspaper Der Standard reported

A video posted to YouTube shows several dozen pro-Palestinian demonstrators waving Palestinian flags in Stephansplatz and calling “free, free Palestine!”

The Bosnian fans dressed in blue, yellow and white are seen standing among the protesters and joining them in their cries, before setting out on a chant of their own: “Ubij, ubij Židove!” or “Kill, kill the Jews!”

…. A wave of anti-Israeli and often anti-Semitic rallies hit European capitals in the summer of 2014 during the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The frequent protests, ostensibly calling for an end to Israel’s actions against Palestinians, often devolved into racist demonstrations in which the mob called out anti-Semitic slogans.

But, of course, there will be no mainstream discussion of this.  It doesn’t match the narrative.

He is Risen! Easter 2015

Matthew 28:1-7 (New American Standard)

Jesus Is Risen!

1 Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. 2 And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. 3 And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid ; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. 6 “He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. 7 “Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee,there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.” 8 And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples. 9 And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshipped Him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid ; go and take word to My brethren to leave for Galilee, and there they will see Me.” 11 Now while they were on their way, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened. 12 And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, 13 and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.’

He is risen indeed. If not for the resurrection, Jesus would be just another teacher, and the world would have wallowed in darkness forever. And now, while many would have us wallow in that terrible darkness, we have the hope of salvation, and ever lasting life. There are dark days coming, and once again Easter reminds us of Christ’s victory over evil and the grave. Those are victories that he shares with us freely. And while evil grows all around us, we should hold on to the hope that the resurrection provides. Basically, we know how this goes; the good guys win in the end. It’s in the book.

Good Friday

Share

Here is some scripture to reflect on the meaning of this day, from the Book of Matthew…

Judas Hangs Himself

27 Early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people made their plans how to have Jesus executed. So they bound him, led him away and handed him over to Pilate the governor.

When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.”

“What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.”

So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

The chief priests picked up the coins and said, “It is against the law to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money.” So they decided to use the money to buy the potter’s field as a burial place for foreigners. That is why it has been called the Field of Blood to this day. Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: “They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price set on him by the people of Israel, 10 and they used them to buy the potter’s field, as the Lord commanded me.”[a]

Jesus Before Pilate

11 Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

“You have said so,” Jesus replied.

12 When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13 Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” 14 But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.

15 Now it was the governor’s custom at the festival to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. 16 At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus[b] Barabbas. 17 So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” 18 For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him.

19 While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.”

20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.

21 “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor.

“Barabbas,” they answered.

22 “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked.

They all answered, “Crucify him!”

23 “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.

But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”

24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”

25 All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”

26 Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

The Soldiers Mock Jesus

27 Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him. 28 They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, 29 and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said. 30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. 31 After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.

The Crucifixion of Jesus

32 As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross. 33 They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”). 34 There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. 35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots. 36 And sitting down, they kept watch over him there. 37 Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.

38 Two rebels were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. 39 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads 40 and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!” 41 In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. 42 “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. 43 He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” 44 In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

The Death of Jesus

45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[c] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[d]

47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. 49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”

50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[e] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

55 Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph,[f] and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

Have a blessed day everyone.  And remember what Jesus did for all of us on that day nearly 2000 years ago.  He did that freely, for the salvation of all.

Persecution: Muslims Exterminate 147 Christians at Kenyan University

Share

22You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Matthew 10:22 NIV

THat verse, among others, has been on the minds of Chrisitans all over  the world, as we have been seeing a vast increase in Christian Persecution around the world.  Robert Stacy McCain has the latest example from Kenya…

The latest atrocity in the global jihad:

Up to 150 people have been murdered by masked al-Shabaab terrorists who stormed a Kenyan university and shot and beheaded Christians in the worst attack in the country in 17 years.
The group raided the Garissa University College campus shortly after 5am local time yesterday, overwhelming guards and murdering people they suspected of being a Christian.
The death toll rose to 147 last night and the 13-hour siege ended. A total of 79 were injured and 587 were led to safety.
Most of those killed were students but two police officers, one soldier and two watchmen are among the dead. . . .
The attack is believed to be the worst terrorist attack on Kenyan soil since the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi in 1998 which killed more than 200 people.
The terrorists stuck mid-way through Holy Week, the most solemn period in the Christian calendar. Last night, the Christian students were planning to celebrate the Last Supper in preparation for Good Friday.

(Via Memeorandum.) Islamic violence continues daily around the world. Most of this violent savagery goes unnoticed by the major U.S. media.

And, while the persecution in the US is mostly rhetorical, and sometimes takes the form of “lawfare” against Christian owned businesses, it is growing here as well.  Give it a few more years, and especially if a democrat wins in 2016, and it will continue to get worse here as well.

I personally take comfort in the fact that in the end, the good guys win.  It’s in the book!

Anti-Suicide Bomber Device Invented…And Muslims Are Outraged

Share

Islamic Jihad Suicide Bomber

Hat/Tip to the Conservative Tribune.

So the “moderate” Muslims say they want nothing to do with the radical Islamic Jihadis, huh? Then one would think they would welcome this device.

If patriotic American innovation is a crime, then get the cuffs out for Tampa inventor Franklin R. Lacy, who recently filed patent paperwork for his latest anti-terrorism deterrent.

But the invention, a container device filled with the blood of a pig, meant to be installed at sensitive locations to prevent suicide bombings by radical Muslim terrorists, comes with plenty of criticism from pro-Islamic groupsaround the world.

Why would a container filled with pig’s blood potentially deter a jihad-motivated suicide attack? Because pigs, let alone their blood, are considered “dirty” by Islamic standards and running the risk of having pig’s blood sprayed on one’s body would all but guarantee they don’t get a chance to meet their 72 virgins in Muslim heaven.

The director of Faith Matters, Fiyaz Mughal, said the device has “been created by someone who seeks to humiliate specific faiths.”

Well, yeah, one could draw that conclusion, but it’s more like, “strategic humiliation.”

Lacy’s other inventions, including a fudge warmer, beverage heater and a special boat windshield are less controversial, but not nearly as innovative.

Mughal also attempted to argue that “the patent is particularly troubling if used against Jews or Muslims, because it would be deeply offensive and insulting to their faith and beliefs.”

But we tend to disagree with that statement since suicide bombings seem to originate from one of those religions, in particular. Can you guess which one? Hint: it’s not Judaism.

One would think that moderate Muslims, who claim they don’t want to be associated with radical elements of their religion, would praise such a clever device, but that doesn’t seem to be the case, which once again proves that a “radical” Muslim may be nothing more than a convenient excuse to hide the atrocious, violent nature of Islam, the so-called “religion of peace.”

The major downfall with Lacy’s anti-suicide bomber device is that even if they were placed at sensitive, suicide-bomber-tempting sites around the world, Islamic religious leaders would simply make an exemption for martyr’s who might potentially be sprayed with the swine blood, allowing them entry to Allah’s house for their actions anyway.

The only reason Muslims should be offended by the possibility of these devices being installed are the radical elements of their religion which caused them to be necessary.

America’s Sixth President Perfectly Explained Islam In One, Single, Incredible Sentence

Share

 photo John Quincy Adams in 1843_zpsrpdlknmp.jpg
John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the United States

Hat/Tip to the Conservative Tribune.

Before there was a Bush “Jr”, there was another famous son in the White House. Our sixth president, John Quincy Adams had a VERY famous father, but don’t underestimate him. For example, he had a perfect grasp of the dangers of Islam.

John Quincy Adams isn’t as famous as his father, although he rightly deserves to be. In addition to serving as our sixth president, he also distinguished himself as an abolitionist congressman and a lawyer for the slaves in the mutiny trial of the Amistad.

He was also a man of strong opinions about the religion of Islam, especially since most of the African slaves that made it to America’s shores were abducted and sold by Muslims.

“The natural hatred of the Mussulmen (Muslims) towards the infidels is in accordance with the precepts of the Koran,” Quincy Adams wrote.

He contrasted this with Christianity.

“The fundamental doctrine of the Christian religion is the extirpation of hatred from the human heart,” Quincy Adams wrote. “It forbids the exercise of it, even towards enemies.”

Contrast this with Islam, which was founded by a warlord.

“In the 7th century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab … spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth,” Quincy Adams said. “He declared undistinguishing and exterminating war as part of his religion.”

“The essence of his doctrine was violence and lust, to exalt the brutal over the spiritual part of human nature,” the sixth president concluded. (H/TWND)

This is instructive in these days when we’re constantly told how our founding fathers loved Islam and how the religion has made great early contributions to American culture.

The “early contributions,” such as they were, involved the selling of slaves and the Barbary Wars, incidents I think they’d rather we not remember them for.

And the sixth president did not believe these to be aberrations. Rather, he found these defects to be part and parcel of the Muslim religion.

These days, with political correctness and the constant appeasement of Islamists, it’s helpful to remember what a real president did in the face of Islamic extremism.

Obama Uses ISIS, Muslim Brotherhood ‘Gang’ Sign At US-African Leaders Summit

Share

Hat/Tip to Doug Ross @ Journal.

Doug Ross tweeted that picture along with a link to a very interesting article at the American Thinker.

As Burleigh explains:

The Associated Press took this astonishing photo as the African dignitaries joined Obama, who hosted the event, in a State Department auditorium for a group photograph. It was published in an article in Britain’s Daily Mail, and it was the only use ever of the photo.shahada

The one-finger display is the distinctive Muslim gang sign: The index finger points straight up while the thumb wraps underneath and presses against the digital phalange of the middle finger. The remaining fingers are squeezed against the palm in order to highlight the extended forefinger. The extended finger is symbolic of the one-God concept of Muhammad and is understood by all believers to be a symbolic shahada, the Muslim affirmation of faith: There is but one God and Muhammad is his messenger.

Don’t worry. I’m sure it doesn’t mean anything. That odd hand signal must have been just a weird affectation.

Just move along. Nothing to see here.

Detroit Muslim Man Asks People At Bus Stop If They Are Muslim… Stabs Them When They Say ‘No’…

Share

ThomasTerrence 001

Hat/Tip to WeaselZippers.

I know, this isn’t terrorism, it’s a case of Bus Stop Violence…

A Detroit man stabbed two people at a suburban bus stop after asking his victims whether or not they were Muslim, according to police. Federal authorities are now looking at the case as a potential hate crime, police said on Tuesday.

Both of the victims were standing at the bus stop outside of Detroit with the suspect on Saturday, Southfield Police Chief Eric Hawkins said. Several people there “engaged in conversation” until the suspect, identified by Hawkins as 39-year-old Terrence Lavaron Thomas, “asked some of the folks there if they were Muslims.”

Two of them answered, the chief told The Post on Tuesday: They were not Muslims.

“[Thomas] was not not happy with that answer,” Hawkins said. Shortly after, “without provocation,” Thomas pulled out a 3-inch folding knife “and attacked one of them,” Hawkins said. […]

Although authorities have not made a statement on the suspect’s motive, Hawkins added that “we do know that he was not happy that [the victims] indicated that they were not Muslims.” Thomas “said that he was a Muslim,” Hawkins said.

NJ judge rules that “Under God” belongs in the Pledge of Allegiance

Share

Atheist killjoys have lost another round.

The phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance does not violate the rights of those who don’t believe in God and does not have to be removed from the patriotic message, a Superior Court judge has ruled.

In dismissing a lawsuit brought against the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District, Superior Court Judge David Bauman said the reference to God in the pledge is more of a declaration of patriotism than it is of religious beliefs.

Bauman, who heard arguments on the issue in November, also noted that the word “God” is such an integral part of New Jersey’s constitution that it has become a recognition of the state’s history, not religion.

“The Pledge of Allegiance, in this historical context, is not to be viewed, and has never been viewed, as a religious exercise,” Bauman wrote in his 21-page decision issued on Wednesday.

He said the pledge is a way to “transmit core values of duty, honor, pride and fidelity to country.”

The ruling comes after the American Humanist Association sued the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District on behalf of an unidentified family claiming the phrase “Under God” violated the protections given to atheists and others who don’t believe in God or gods.

It’s also the sixth time the American Humanist Association has lost its attempt to have the phrase removed from the pledge by filing suits in various federal and state courts.

They came venue shopping to New Jersey, hoping our famously activist judiciary would be sympathetic to their pettiness.

Nope.

That’s because another student, 18 year old Samantha Jones, a senior at Highland Regional High School, fought back.

Jones fought back, telling Fox News last November that the phrase “acknowledges that our rights don’t come from the government but from a higher power, so they can’t take away the rights.”

She described America as a country of many beliefs and claimed all of those beliefs — including those of atheists — are protected by “one nation under God.”

“I don’t think that it’s as much about religion as it is about our rights. Everyone has the right to remain silent but they don’t have the right to silence everybody else,” she told Fox News.

After the school district and Jones won their case, she said in a statement released Friday that “I’m so grateful the court decided that kids like me shouldn’t be silenced just because some people object to timeless American values.”

“Ever since I was little, I’ve recited the Pledge of Allegiance because it sums up the values that make our country great. The phrase ‘under God’ protects all Americans-including atheists-because it reminds the government that it can’t take away basic human rights because it didn’t create them,” she said.

Bravo Miss Jones, bravo!

No one has the right to tell us what, or what not, to say.

Sadly though, the American Humanist Association vows to appeal. They can’t let this go, because they won’t be happy until everyone is as miserable as they are.

UK Mom Threatened for Showing Children a Pro-Life Video

Share

In the nanny regressive state, the state is father, and the state is mother.  And, if you dare go against the state, you can expect bad things to happen to you.  A mother in the UK found that out recently, where she dared to teach her son’s that killing babies was wrong.  Live Action News has more…

A few days before Christmas, a U.K. mother of two reached out to Christian radio show program Stand Up For Truth with a plea for prayers and support. She had been notified that Child Protection Services would be contacting her because she had permitted her children to watch the pro-life documentary 180.

The controversy began when the mother (who wishes to remain anonymous) included Gospel tracts and a card advertising the 180 movie in party favor jars for a Christmas fair. She distributed these favors at the Church of England Primary School her children attend, and where she was employed at the time. The U.K. mother noted in her letter to the radio program:

I was immediately suspended and told not to reveal any of the details to anyone. I was made to attend an investigative meeting with strict instructions that no legal representation was allowed. The school leadership and the HR representative were pressing…that the film “180” was horrific, had it been watched by a child, even a child who is 10 to 11.

The mother turned in her resignation, but that did not end the investigation. The school’s Board of Directors allegedly equated the parental discretion of showing the pro-life film – which displays nothing more graphic than what one would see on the History Channel – with potential child abuse.

… I was officially informed that because in the course of the meeting I had revealed to them that my children had seen the child inappropriate “180” film, they have notified the Child Protection Services and that they will be contacting me shortly.

We do not watch violent films in our household, but I feel it is important to bring up children, teaching them what is right and wrong, even if the subject is a bit heavy (like the Holocaust and abortion). When my sons were about 10 and 8, I explained to them what those things meant, and the reason I did so is because the sex-ed starts here in U.K. very early …

This show the state exerts control over the populace.  The state will attack people, using every arm at it’s disposal.   You go against policy, you lose your job.  If you teach your children right from wrong, they might be taken from you.

As I think of it, this only happens if you’re a Christian.  In the UK, it’s OK to run child-rape gangs if you are of another religion.  In fact, in that circumstance, the state will actually assist you!  But I digress.

This is coming to the US, if it isn’t here already.

Slippery Slope: Sharia Forcing Its Way Into Texas

Hat/Tip to Warner Todd Huston at LibertyNews.

This is how it started in the United Kingdom and other nations that have knuckled under and allowed this sickness to infect their countries.

It has now been confirmed that a Muslim community in Dallas, Texas has somehow been allowed to set up their own extralegal sharia court to pass judgement on members of their community. It’s all quite outside the real court system in Texas. This is the first step toward destroying our own culture and allowing Islamization to begin.

The Imam’s who claim to be “judges” in this extralegal “court” say that they only created a “tribunal” not a “court” but this is just semantics. Tribunal, court, they both mean the same thing.

Breitbart Texas spoke with one of the “judges.”

Dr. Taher El-badawi. He said the tribunal operates under Sharia law as a form of “non-binding dispute resolution.” El-badawi said their organization is “a tribunal, not arbitration.” A tribunal is defined by Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary as “a court or forum of justice.” The four Islamic attorneys call themselves “judges” not “arbitrators.”

El-badawi said the tribunal follows Sharia law to resolve civil disputes in family and business matters. He said they also resolve workplace disputes.

In matters of divorce, El-badawi said that “while participation in the tribunal is voluntary, a married couple cannot be considered divorced by the Islamic community unless it is granted by the tribunal.” He compared their divorce, known as “Talaq,” as something similar to the Catholic practice of annulment in that the church does not recognize civil divorce proceedings as ending a marriage.

Editor’s Note:

We’d better sit up and take notice folks. Look at all the problems in Europe because of bowing down to these savages. And yes, I consider all Muslims savages because they condone beheading, stoning, honor-killing and the rest of the barbaric thuggery known as Islam. Make no mistake, Sharia and barbarism go hand-in-hand.

 Tweet of the Day!!

Constantinople stood like a sheet anchor, refusing to succumb to the Jihad, defying the Arabs.

      After the eleventh century, the Turks emerged as the vanguard of the bloodied march of the Jihad.

        – they had to bring identification marks on their suits and on their houses;
        – they had to pay more taxes (Jaziya);
        – they could not occupy positions that entailed authority over the Muslims;
        – they could not marry a Muslim (but a Muslim could marry a Christian);
        – they could not build new churches;
        – they could not ring Church bells;
        – they could not organize processions;
        – they could not read the Bible within the earshot of a Muslim;
        – they could not drink wine;
        – they had to get up when a Muslim entered the room;
        – they had to let the Muslims pass first in the public road;
        – they could not bear weapons;
        – they could not ride horses;
        – they could not saddle their mules;
(Source)
