Even though he’s waiting until after the mid-term elections to issue his amnesty-granting executive order, President Obama is hardly allowing his administration to sit idly by on this issue.

Since the federal government announced its plan to place illegal immigrants in communities all across the United States weeks ago, Americans have been furious. It’s all part of President Obama’s plan to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.

It’s frustrating enough to hear that these immigrants are being placed all over the U.S. and supported by our government, but it’s even more upsetting when they’re being dumped in your town.

Public opposition to his plans have made Obama work in the shadows on this.

Residents have been fighting back against this plan, doing whatever they can to stand up for their own rights and the rights of their children.

And Obama knows we don’t want our towns overrun. He knows people are angry, and that’s why he has been hiding the locations of where he’s putting these people. And it’s not just the thousands of illegal children that have crossed our southern border – there are a large amount of illegal immigrants with criminal histories that have been detained by our government, known as criminal aliens.

People on the right complain about establishment Republicans and I’ve seen Senator Chuck Grassley’s name on the “RINO” lists, but I think in this case, we owe him a debt of gratitude.

President Obama has decided to place them in our communities too. That’s why when Senator Chuck Grassley, ranking member of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, got a hold of a list of the locations where the illegal immigrants are being placed, he released it to the public.

The Department of Homeland Security released a list of 134 zip codes across the United States where illegal immigrants with criminal records have been placed. Here are a list of the zip codes:

Grassley Letter

The letter is a response to Senator Grassley’s inquiry regarding the immigrants, and claims that the Department does have the right to release these immigrants as a result of a Supreme Court ruling. The letter also includes a list of detention facilities – organized by state – where criminal aliens have been placed. Check the list to see if there are any in your community.

We are extremely grateful to Senator Grassley for releasing this list to the public. It’s a matter of public safety and security, and we have the right to know when criminal aliens are being placed in our own communities. We encourage you to closely read this letter and determine if you will personally be affected by the placement of these criminal aliens.

illegal women with DACA and DAPA signs

Hat/Tip to Caroline May at Breitbart.

Old and busted: If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it….

New and wow: If a government lawyer admits the President broke the law and no MSM is around to hear it…

The Obama administration violated U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen’s injunction halting President Obama’s executive amnesty programs, Justice Department lawyers have admitted to the court, according to the Washington Times.

The Times reports that in a late night filing Thursday, Justice Department lawyers revealed that the Department of Homeland Security had issued some 2,000 three-year work permits (as opposed to the currently permissible two-year permits) to illegal immigrants granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

The issuance of the three-year work permits — an aspect of Obama’s November 20 executive actions which expanded DACA — was violation of Hanen’s February 16 injunction preventing the executive amnesty programs from going forward.

This occurred despite repeated statements from administration officials that they were abiding by the injunction.

“The government sincerely regrets these circumstances and is taking immediate steps to remedy these erroneous three-year terms,” the Times quoted the lawyers, who added they would get more information to Hanen about what went awry by May 15.

According to the Times, DHS Sec. Jeh Johnson has requested the DHS inspector general look into the snafu and officials are looking into replacing the three-year permits DHS improperly issued with the proper two-year ones.

Unbelievable: Feds Complicit In Illegal Border Smuggling Tunnel

Share

View of a trans-border tunnel and wagons

Hat/Tip to IOTWReport.com.

Gee, I wonder if Obama’s DHS is turning a blind eye to the drug smugglers so that they can earn a spot on the “Shroom Gang”?

tunnel_230769kLast week, Rep. Matt Salmon (R-AZ) joined Sean to inform him of a sophisticated illegal smuggling tunnel built at the Arizona-Mexico border. According to Border Patrol agent, Chris Cabrera, the agency was aware of the tunnel (and wanted to patrol it), but were told not to by their superiors.

Below is Rep. Salmon’s letter to DHS secretary Jeh Johnson which details his concerns about the tunnel:

Secretary Johnson,

Recently, Arizona’s largest cross-border smuggling tunnel was discovered in Naco, AZ. According to news reports, this tunnel is one of the more highly sophisticated smuggling tunnels, replete with hydraulics, ventilation, and lighting systems.

Unfortunately, the existence of this tunnel does not seem to have been brought to light by federal law enforcement agencies. Rather, it appears that the discovery of this sophisticated tunnel was merely a byproduct of a traffic-stop-turned-drug-bust by a local law enforcement officer.

With this in mind, I was quite alarmed to hear the testimony given by Border Patrol Agent, Chris Cabrera, on March 17, 2015 in a Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearing. In this testimony, he said: “our intel knew for some time that that tunnel was being used and that we should patrol that area more aggressively.” To my amazement, he went on to say that Border Patrol agents were not allowed by management to work in or patrol that area.

I am very concerned that such extensive and sophisticated infrastructure was—and presumably continues to be—built and operated right beneath our feet without action being taken by federal law enforcement. Furthermore, I am deeply concerned by the allegations that management within Customs and Border Patrol had intelligence indicating the existence of this tunnel and did not allow our agents to work or patrol the area.

With these concerns, it is imperative that we learn more about the investigation that ostensibly would have taken place on such an expansive and sophisticated tunnel. Unfortunately, my office has yet to receive a satisfactory answer as to what kind of investigations have been done to determine to the extent possible what dangerous items, materials and/or individuals were transported through that tunnel and into our communities.

During the course of my own investigation, I learned that at least one local landowner is being pressured to sign forms that would allow access to a portion of his/her land that the tunnel runs under in order to fill it with concrete. Without information as to the extent of your agency’s investigation, this is very alarming as destroying the tunnel would make it seemingly impossible to conduct additional tests and complete a thorough investigation.  With this in mind, I ask:

Has this tunnel been thoroughly tested for evidence of the transport of nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons?

Has DHS conducted a forensic study to learn where the materials for the tunnel were procured and, if possible, by whom?

Have investigations been conducted to determine whether or not foreign agents of terrorism have used the tunnel to enter the United States of America?

Have investigations been conducted to determine what intelligence federal law enforcement had and when they had it?

Have investigations been conducted to determine whether Border Patrol management did in fact restrict the access of Border Patrol agents around the area of this tunnel?

Will you act immediately to ensure that this tunnel is not destroyed or otherwise altered until we can ensure that proper investigations of this tunnel have been completed?

I firmly believe that the American people deserve answers, especially those families and communities whose safety is directly impacted.  I sincerely hope that you will join me in calling for the delay of any measure that would destroy the tunnel or cause evidence to be altered until the Department of Homeland Security and the American people receive answers. I thank you for your assistance in this matter and look forward to your timely response.

Signed,

Matt Salmon

Obama Regime Admits To Releasing Known Gang Member Who Went On To Murder 4 Americans

Share

Emmanuel Jesus Rangel-Hernandez

Hat/Tip to Weasel Zippers.

What was it Obama said about his Illegal Executive Amnesty?

Oh yeah!

He said that his administration was going to deport “Felons, not families. Criminals, not children. Gang members, not a mom who’s working hard to provide for her kids.”

I’m guessing that this guy must resemble someone’s mom, so they let him go.

The Obama administration is admitting it granted executive amnesty protections to a known gang member — one charged with four counts of murder — and is now reviewing prior approvals to double check that other gang members have not also been approved for deferred status.

In a letter to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) dated Friday, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Leon Rodriguez explains that Emmanuel Jesus Rangel-Hernandez’s request for deferred status under President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program “should not have been approved” based on standard procedure.

Rangel-Hernandez is currently charged with the murder of four people, including former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Mirjana Puhar.

On Tuesday Grassley released the letter and said it confirmed his fears, that USCIS is not being careful enough in adjudicating applications for Obama’s DACA program.

“It’s no secret that USCIS staff is under intense pressure to approve every DACA application that comes across their desk, and based on this information, it’s clear that adequate protocols are not in place to protect public safety,” Grassley said.

Rubio’s Univision Remarks Lost In Translation: Says He WILL End Obama’s Illegal Executive Amnesty

Share

marco rubio 003

Hat/Tip to Sarah Rumpf at Breitbart.

There are tons of Facebook posts claiming that Marco Rubio told Univision that he supported Obama’s Illegal Executive Amnesty.

Such as this one…

Rubio Facebook Post Wrongly Saying He Flip Flopped On Obamas Exec Anmesty

What really happened?

In a Spanish language interview with Jorge Ramos on Univision’s Al Punto show, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) discussed immigration policy, affirming his longstanding objection to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) programs.

An article on Breitbart News earlier Saturday said that Rubio called DACA “important” and one that he would not reverse, but a closer look at the official transcript shows some misinterpretations in the translation, and Rubio’s campaign pushed back strongly against any suggestion that the Senator would allow President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty to continue.

But Rubio’s Spokesperson set the matter straight.

As Rubio spokesman Alex Conant told Breitbart News, “Marco went on Spanish media this week and rejected a comprehensive immigration reform approach, said that the immigration executive orders won’t be permanent policy under his administration, and that he would oppose legalization today because we first need to prevent a future illegal immigration crisis by enforcing our laws.”

“Marco also said it’s important not to end DACA immediately since it would be disruptive given all the people that have it,” continued Conant, “but that at a certain point it would have to end since it cannot be the permanent policy of the land.”

“In case anything was lost in translation, he believes we have to fix our broken immigration system in a series of smaller bills, starting with border security and enforcement, then modernizing our legal immigration system, and then eventually dealing with the illegal immigrants living here,” said Conant.

Now let’s revisit the whole DACA and DAPA mess, shall we?

DACA allows illegal immigrants who came to the United States before their sixteen birthday, commonly referred to as “DREAMers,” to obtain a renewable work permit and be protected from deportation. The original requirements for eligibility were that the DREAMers must be enrolled in school or have received a high school diploma or GED or been honorably discharged from the military, and pass a background check that they have not committed any felonies or serious misdemeanors, among other requirements.

Last November, Obama expanded the DACA program to waive the requirement that the DREAMers be under 31 years of age, to expand the renewal term from two years to three years, and other measures that would increase the number of eligible immigrants.

DAPA was a further expansion of protection from deportation for illegal immigrants, this time for parents who were here illegally but had lived in the U.S. since 2010 and had children who were American citizens or lawful permanent residents.

DAPA and the expansion of DACA have been harshly criticized, for enacting amnesty and for the way Obama enacted them through executive orders, without authorization from Congress. Shortly after Obama signed the executive orders, Texas, joined by twenty-six other states, filed suit against the federal government seeking to stop what they called an unconstitutional overreach by the executive branch, as Breitbart Texas reported. The litigation is still pending, but a federal court has issued an order stopping DAPA from being implemented while the case proceeds.

Via Breitbart, here is the full, unredacted transcript of the portion of the Univision interview in which Rubio and Jorge Ramos discussed immigration.

Ramos: As you know, it has always been hard for Republicans to get the Hispanic vote. I wanted to talk with you about very concrete issues that affect Hispanics directly. I would like to start with the issue of deferred action and DACA. If you made it to the White House, would you keep the DACA program; that is, Deferred Action for the Dreamers, and would you keep President Barack Obama’s executive action, which would benefit more than four million undocumented people?

Rubio: Well, DACA is going to have to end at some point. I wouldn’t undo it immediately. The reason is that there are already people who have that permission, who are working, who are studying, and I don’t think it would be fair to cancel it suddenly. But I do think it is going to have to end. And, God willing, it’s going to end because immigration reform is going to pass. DAPA hasn’t yet taken effect, and I think it has impeded progress on immigration, on immigration reform. And since that program hasn’t taken effect yet, I would cancel it. But DACA, I think it is important; it can’t be cancelled suddenly because there are already people who are benefitting from it. But it is going to have to end. It cannot be the permanent policy of the United States. And I don’t think that’s what they’re asking for, either. I think that everyone prefers immigration reform.

Ramos: But then, to clarify, you would end DACA once immigration reform is approved. But what happens, Senator, if there is no immigration reform? Would you cancel DACA anyway?

Rubio: At some point it’s going to have to end. That is, it cannot continue to be the permanent policy of the United States. I do think that if I wind up being president, it will be possible to achieve new immigration reform. It won’t be possible for it to be comprehensive; that is, they are not going to be able to do everything in one massive bill. We already tried that a couple of years ago. We have seen that the political support isn’t there, and I think we’ve spent a lot of time on this process when we could have started moving forward through the three steps that I advocated. Unfortunately, a lot of time has been wasted on that. It has become an even more controversial issue; harder to move forward on that issue. But I still say that it’s important to modernize our system, and that means improving the way we enforce it in the future, to modernize the immigration system so that it’s not so costly and bureaucratic. And we have to deal with 12 million human beings who are already here. And nobody, nobody is advocating a plan to deport 12 million human beings. So that issue has to be dealt with, as well.

Ramos: When you announced your candidacy, outside of the building where you announced it, there were a lot of Dreamers, protesting. And then there are some immigrant organizations that have criticized your candidacy. America’s Voice says that you have anti-immigrant positions. I would like to ask you, you were in favor of an immigration reform bill in the Senate, and you voted for it. But today, would you vote in favor of a path to legalization for 11 million undocumented people?

Rubio: Well, that can’t be done today for the following reason. I don’t think we can. I have been very clear. I, through that two-year experience, it’s very clear to me. We’re not going to have the votes or the necessary political support in Congress. Today, in some sectors of the American public, in order to move forward on this issue, unless we first prove to the American people that in the future there’s not going to be another immigration crisis. If we do that, I think that undoubtedly the political support is going to exist to do legalization as you have said. It has to be a process similar to what we advocated in the legislation that I sponsored, and it’s the law that says that, first, the things we’re all familiar with must be present: a background check, pay a fine, begin to pay taxes, get a work permit, and after 10 years, they can apply for their residency. That would be the process, but we can’t get to that point. Politically, the support and the votes in Congress aren’t there until we prove to those members of Congress and the American people that immigration laws are going to be enforced.

Here is the section in English, this is the portion that got changed in translation:

But DACA, I think it is important; it can’t be cancelled suddenly because there are already people who are benefitting from it. But it is going to have to end. It cannot be the permanent policy of the United States.

And here is the same two sentences in Spanish:

Pero DACA, yo creo que es importante, no se puede cancelar de un momento al otro porque ya hay personas que están beneficiando. Pero sí va a tener que terminar. No puede ser la política permanente de Estados Unidos.

But Univision, and then another media service got things mixed around, saying that Rubio said, “…DACA was important. It can’t be terminated from one moment to the next.” That doesn’t even make any sense, on the face of it. Here is how Breitbart explained the whole debacle:

A source close to Rubio who is a native speaker of Spanish told Breitbart News that the word “important” is being taken out of context, and that Rubio was not saying that DACA was important, but that his approach not to cancel the program immediately was an important concept. In other words, the word “important” belongs to the phrase that follows it, not the word “DACA” immediately preceding. This interpretation makes sense, since in the very next sentence and then repeatedly throughout the interview, Rubio says that the program must end.

In contrast, the translation relied upon by the original Breitbart News article from the media service Grabien flips this around, saying, ““I believe DACA is important. It can’t be terminated from one moment to the next, because there are already people benefiting from it.”

According to our source, even the Univision translation was a little imprecise, and said that a more word-for-word translation of Rubio’s words would be “But DACA, I think it’s important not to cancel it from one moment to the next because you already have people benefiting from it.”

Latest Obama Scandal?: ISIS On Our Southern Border

Share

 photo isis-muslim-terrorism-coming-into-united-states-already-here-through-open-southern-borders_zpsllumnae2.jpg

Hat/Tip to Tom Fitton at Doug Ross @ Journal.

Excellent article by Tom Fitton, so here it is, in its entirety.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Judicial Watch is proving itself the most resourceful and impactful educational organizations in the nation. No other media outlet, no congressional committee, and no other non-governmental organization can match JW’s successes in ferreting out what the government doesn’t want you know. On the issue of terrorism and the border, JW’s journalism this week had an international impact. On April 14, our Corruption Chronicles published the following extraordinary report on ISIS operations in Mexico and in the United States:
ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.
The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.
During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.
Law enforcement and intelligence sources report the area around Anapra is dominated by the Vicente Carrillo Fuentes Cartel (“Juárez Cartel”), La Línea (the enforcement arm of the cartel) and the Barrio Azteca (a gang originally formed in the jails of El Paso). Cartel control of the Anapra area make it an extremely dangerous and hostile operating environment for Mexican Army and Federal Police operations.
According to these same sources, “coyotes” engaged in human smuggling – and working for Juárez Cartel – help move ISIS terrorists through the desert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico. To the east of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, cartel-backed “coyotes” are also smuggling ISIS terrorists through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas. These specific areas were targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing.
Mexican intelligence sources report that ISIS intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, NM (a US port-of-entry). The sources also say that ISIS has “spotters” located in the East Potrillo Mountains of New Mexico (largely managed by the Bureau of Land Management) to assist with terrorist border crossing operations. ISIS is conducting reconnaissance of regional universities; the White Sands Missile Range; government facilities in Alamogordo, NM; Ft. Bliss; and the electrical power facilities near Anapra and Chaparral, NM.
The international reaction to this report was almost instantaneous. The Mexican government, unsurprisingly, “categorically denied” our report. The left-wing “Politifact” smeared JW by calling our report false? On what basis? No government agency would back us up. I’m happy to put our credibility up against the Benghazi-cover-up crowd in the Obama administration any day.
And I can tell you that our military, congressional and other government security contacts have been quite positive and grateful for our reporting. We seem to be hearing every week about ISIS supporters arrested or an ISIS terror plot thwarted here in the United States. Twenty-five ISIS supporters are being prosecuted by Obama’s Justice Department. Two female ISIS supporters were just arrested in New York for wanting to build a bomb. And there were ISIS-related arrests both in Ohio and in Kansas just in the past seven days!
So, we have ISIS supporters being arrested all over America but we are supposed to believe that ISIS won’t take advantage of the anarchy in the areas just south of our border controlled by the Mexican drug cartels?
And, as with Benghazi, the Obama administration’s response was to go into cover-up mode. The FBI, which has a terrible record of not only ignoring terrorist threats but actually using terrorists as informants, held a key meeting in Mexico in response to our report. But the meeting wasn’t to follow our leads, but to suppress the truth. Again, from ourCorruption Chronicles blog:
Responding to Judicial Watch’s report earlier this week of ISIS activity along the Mexican border, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) supervisors called a “special” meeting at the U.S. Consulate in Ciudad Juárez.
A high-level intelligence source, who must remain anonymous for safety reasons, confirmed that the meeting was convened specifically to address a press strategy to deny Judicial Watch’s accurate reporting and identify who is providing information to JW. FBI supervisory personnel met with Mexican Army officers and Mexican Federal Police officials, according to JW’s intelligence source. The FBI liaison officers regularly assigned to Mexico were not present at the meeting and conspicuously absent were representatives from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It’s not clear why DHS did not participate.
Publicly, U.S. and Mexico have denied that Islamic terrorists are operating in the southern border region, but the rapid deployment of FBI brass in the aftermath of JW’s report seems to indicate otherwise.
Deroy Murdock, a well-known columnist at National Review, gets it right. He highlights the Obama administration’s duplicity in putting politics above national security, even if doing so puts human lives at risk. The full piece is worth reading, but he includes the JW revelations this week in his analysis here:
When the Islamic State first emerged, it traversed Iraqi and Syrian deserts in pick-up trucks. A few days of relentless bombing would have reduced these maggots to cinders. Instead, Obama’s daintiness let them seize territory the size of Great Britain. The group now has infiltrated Libya, Tunisia, and Yemen, sealed an alliance with Boko Haram in Nigeria, and much more.
Judicial Watch reports that the Islamic State operates a training camp just eight miles below America’s southern “border.” The conservative watchdogs cite Mexican military and police sources who say that they have discovered — near Ciudad Juarez — Muslim prayer rugs, documents in Arabic and Urdu, and “plans” of Fort Bliss Army Base in El Paso, Texas.
Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told CBS’s 60 Minutes that at least 40 Americans who fought with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria have come home. Half-comfortingly, Johnson said that “we have systems in place to track these individuals. But you can’t know everything.”
That’s life, as America’s lethally unserious “leader” pretends to fight radical Islamic terrorism.
Trust Judicial Watch to stay on the important issue of the terrorist threat from our open and unsecured border with Mexico. You should check in regularly at www.JudicialWatch.org for any updates on the fast-moving investigation.
From ‘Dreamers’ To Killers: 250 Murders Committed By Criminal Illegals Knowingly Released In 2014
Share
ms13-gang 001
Hat/Tip to Kurt Revere at The Minute Man Project.
Evidently either President Obama lied to us in 2014 when he said they would deport criminals, or he has absolutely no control over a rogue ICE agency.
I’m not sure which one is worse.
But for a reminder, here is what he said about his illegal actions on immigration:
“Over the past six years deportations of criminals are up 80 percent, and that’s why we’re going to keep focusing enforcement resources on actual threats to our security,” Obama said in his speech.Felons, not families. Criminals, not children. Gang members, not a mom who’s working hard to provide for her kids.”
Crime figures released at a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee show a massive number of criminal illegals released by ICE in 2014 have come back to haunt American society.
Despite his big talk about focusing resources of dangerous criminal illegal aliens, President Obama’s record on preventing illegal immigration and now enforcement of current law is seriously lacking.
…both arrests and deportations of criminal aliens are down about 30 percent through the first six months of fiscal year 2015, signaling that agents, who have been told to stop focusing on rank-and-file illegal immigrants, have not been able to refocus on criminal illegal immigrants instead.
The data, released by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Robert W. Goodlatte at the beginning of a hearing with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Sarah Saldana, also showed that the 30,558 criminal aliens ICE knowingly released back into the community in 2014 had amassed nearly 80,000 convictions, including 250 homicides, 186 kidnappings and 373 sexual assaults.
These are just the worst of the crimes committed by Obama’s released jailbirds. And his technical excuse doesn’t hold up under careful analysis.
According to the statistics, the aliens released by ICE had amassed 13,636 convictions for driving under the influence, 1,589 weapons offenses, 994 aggravated assaults, 56 arsons and 31 smuggling offenses.
The Obama administration has claimed that many of those releases are required by court order stemming from a years-old Supreme Court ruling, Zadvydas v. Davis, that says immigrants can’t be held indefinitely and if their home countries won’t take them back, they must eventually be released.
But the new numbers suggest those released are a small fraction. Of the nearly more than 30,000 criminal aliens released, only 2,457 were cut loose because of considerations stemming from the Zadvydas ruling, the House committee said. And for the serious crimes, only about half the homicide convictions and a third of the kidnapping convictions were Zadvydas-related releases.
The sum total of Obama’s current illegal immigration enforcement policy: fewer arrests, fewer deportations and fewer criminals behind bars.
250 people are dead because of these policies.  Their blood is on Barack Obama’s hands.
Obama Administration Released Nearly 166,000 Convicted Criminal Aliens Across U.S. As Of April 26, 2014
dreamers homeless illegals 001
No news here, he’s been doing this for quite some time now.
US Senator Exposes ZIP Codes Where Criminal Illegals Were Released By Obama Administration
Judicial Watch today released 76 pages of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents revealing that as of April 26, 2014, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had released 165,900 convicted criminal aliens throughout the United States, including many convicted of such violent crimes as homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. (Reports recently detailed that ICE released another 30,000 in the most recent fiscal year, which brings the grand total of known criminals released by the Obama administration to 195,900.)
The documents were released through a July 21, 2014, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Homeland Security (No. 1:14-cv-01237)) filed by Judicial Watch after DHS failed to respond to a May 15 FOIA request seeking:
Any and all records of communications including, but not limited to, emails and memoranda, to or from personnel in the office of the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (including its component offices, such as the Office of Public Affairs), from May 1 to May 15, 2014, concerning, regarding, or related to the report published by the Center for Immigrations Studies concerning the release of 36,000 criminal aliens.
The numbers are not just astounding, once you understand that CONVICTED criminals were released, just for political expediency, then that’s when you blood really starts to boil.
The ICE documents confirm a May 2014 Center Immigration Studies (CIS) report showing that in 2013 ICE freed 36,007 convicted criminal aliens, who had nearly 88,000 convictions, including 193 homicide convictions, 426 sexual assault convictions, and 303 kidnapping convictions.
As has been previously reported, and is evidenced in these documents, the 36,007 criminal aliens freed by ICE in 2013 were just the tip of the iceberg. In a DHS “Overview of ICE” document marked “FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY,” the following figures are reported through April 26, 2014 [NOTE: “Final Order” indicates the illegal aliens were ordered to leave the country, but have not done so and remain free]:
  • Non-Detained Final Order Convicted CRIMINAL       165,950
  • Non-Detained Final Order NON CRIMINAL               706,950
  • Non-Detained Final Order TOTAL                              872,900
And Obama knows we don’t want our towns overrun. He knows people are angry, and that’s why he has been hiding the locations of where he’s putting these people. And it’s not just the thousands of illegal children that have crossed our southern border – there are a large amount of illegal immigrants with criminal histories that have been detained by our government, known as criminal aliens.
People on the right complain about establishment Republicans and I’ve seen Senator Chuck Grassley’s name on the “RINO” lists, but I think in this case, we owe him a debt of gratitude.
President Obama has decided to place them in our communities too. That’s why when Senator Chuck Grassley, ranking member of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, got a hold of a list of the locations where the illegal immigrants are being placed, he released it to the public.
The Department of Homeland Security released a list of 134 zip codes across the United States where illegal immigrants with criminal records have been placed. Here are a list of the zip codes:
Grassley Letter
The letter is a response to Senator Grassley’s inquiry regarding the immigrants, and claims that the Department does have the right to release these immigrants as a result of a Supreme Court ruling. The letter also includes a list of detention facilities – organized by state – where criminal aliens have been placed. Check the list to see if there are any in your community.
We are extremely grateful to Senator Grassley for releasing this list to the public. It’s a matter of public safety and security, and we have the right to know when criminal aliens are being placed in our own communities. We encourage you to closely read this letter and determine if you will personally be affected by the placement of these criminal aliens.
Voter Fraud Via Social Security ID: Illegal Alien Power Rising, Citizen Power Disappearing
Share
vote
Remember Black Power? Now we’re facing Alien Power. Forget Obama’s executive orders. Without going through the immigration process on the books, an illegal does not become legal, even though Congress buries their heads. Ohio’s Attorney General, Jon Husted, warned that issuing social security numbers to illegal aliens can [likely will] affect the integrity of our elections. While the SS number doesn’t make it legal to vote, it makes it easier to vote illegally. In Obama’s DREAMer amnesty, reports are that 90,000 received a social security number, which suggests that the 5+ million illegals Obama is planning to amnesty, have a better than good chance of receiving the same benefit.Since Obama’s late 2014 amnesty announcement, no one knows how many social security IDs have been issued. The Senate has been forced to ask, and are still awaiting an answer.
Voter_ID_Requirements_by_State_1-602x1024
Look at all those black bars–only three found among the southern states, and more southern states require a photo ID than any other regions on the map.
Can you imagine a problem bigger than handing out taxpayer dollars to illegals? I can. Dwarfing all other issues is the ease of illegals finding a way to vote.
According to Husted, the fact that Obama’s executive amnesty will enable millions of illegal immigrants to obtain Social Security numbers and driver’s licenses represents the root of the problem, as under federal law any person with those forms of identification can register vote if they claim eligibility.
In short, by enabling millions of non-citizens to access valid forms of the types of identification required to register to vote, the recent executive actions have increased the risk that non-citizens may illegally register to vote and vote in our elections,” he wrote.
The Supreme Court struck down Arizona’s attempts to use only the Arizona Voter Registration form, which makes it more difficult to vote illegally.
…The “honor system” currently used by federal forms is less-than-adequate to prevent non-citizens from voting. Sam Wercinski of executive director of the Arizona Advocacy Network, which has been fighting Horne’s efforts, emphasized the problem inadvertently with quotes to the news media on Wednesday about the ruling:
“They sign under oath,” Wercinski said. “In America, does our signature under oath no longer hold any weight?”
Yes — it holds no weight. Source
Attorneys General from both Kansas and Ohio point to the real problem–the major loophole:
While stressing that it remains illegal for noncitizens to vote, secretaries of state from Ohio and Kansas said they won’t have the tools to sniff out illegal immigrants who register anyway, ignoring stiff penalties to fill out the registration forms that are easily available at shopping malls, motor vehicle bureaus and in curbside registration drives.
Anyone registering to vote attests that he or she is a citizen, but Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted said mass registration drives often aren’t able to give due attention to that part, and so illegal immigrants will still get through. Source: Washington Times
We can’t verify voters, we can’t control visa visitors who overstay their visas, and we can’t stop issuing social security benefits to the dead. How proud are we say that 6.5 million 112-year-olds are still on active roles, whether they receive a check or not. In fall of 2014, only 42 people, worldwide were known to be 112.
The Social Security administration employs 65,000, presumably, the majority with a computer, and programs to suss out the illegal, including the dead. The annual budget is $736 billion (some sources $851 billion).
The Government Accountability Office said Social Security has trouble maintaining the Death Master File, and other agencies have difficulties in getting the information to update their own files and halt payments to those no longer alive to collect benefits. Source: Washington Times
In  2013, the SS Administration paid out more than $8 BILLION in “improper payments.” Can you even begin to guess at the bonuses paid out, or how long these SSA workers have been on the job and abusing taxpayers?
Later in 2012, in Washington, D.C., one of [James] O’Keefe’s assistants was able to obtain Attorney General Eric Holder’s ballot even though Holder is 62 years old and bears no resemblance to the 22-year-old white man who obtained it merely by asking if Eric Holder was on the rolls. But the Department of Justice, which is currently suing Texas to block that state’s photo-ID law, dismissed the Holder ballot incident as “manufactured.” The irony was lost on the DOJ that Holder, a staunch opponent of voter-ID laws, could have himself been disenfranchised by a white man because Washington, D.C., has no voter-ID law. Polls consistently show that more than 70 percent of Americans — including clear majorities of African Americans and Hispanics — support such laws. Source: John Fund, National Review
Red Statements:
La Raza, the radical group supporting illegal immigration is providing a map that was created by the Washington Post that explains where people can vote without providing an ID.  This is an effort to circumvent US law and allow illegal democrats voters to vote for democrats in an effort to avoid the tsunami due to arrive on November 4th.  Let me point out that under an honest government, La Raza would be considered a co-defendant in any trial involving an illegal alien voting.
According to the graphic above, my state of Oklahoma “requests,” but does not “require” an ID, and a photo ID is not necessary. The ladies behind the table ask to see my ID, and I always produce my driver’s license. If I refused my DL or my photoless Oklahoma voter ID card, I guess I would still be allowed to vote. Sad for such a conservative state. Citizen Power disappearing. Alien Power rising.
Judge Blasts DOJ, Threatens Sanctions For Lying About Holding Off On Immigration Actions: “Like An Idiot, I Believed You”
Share
U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen of Brownsville
Hat/Tip to Nickarama at WeaselZippers.
I’m wondering how far the Obama admin is going to push this judge…
A federal judge sharply scolded a Justice Department attorney at a hearing on President Obama’s immigration executive actions, suggesting that the administration misled him on a key part of the program — and that he fell for it, “like an idiot.”
The testy court hearing was held Thursday in Texas by U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen. The judge suggested he could order sanctions against the administration if he finds they indeed misrepresented the facts.
At issue is whether the DOJ misled the judge into believing that a plank of the Obama program — giving deportation reprieves to thousands of young illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children — would not go forward before he made a ruling on a request to halt it. In fact, federal officials had given more than 108,000 people three-year reprieves before that date and granted them work permits under the program.
Under Obama’s Illegal Executive Amnesty: Illegal Immigrants Using Stolen SS to Receive Credit Toward SS Benefits
Stop Illegal Immigration
The Obama memorandum refers to illegals as “foreign nationals.” The credits will include the entire time the worker worked and used the fraudulent social security I.D.
[From the Memorandum] Under the November 20, 2014, policy memorandum, foreign nationals [those in the U.S. illegally] who receive deferred action status may be eligible for work authorization,” the CRS memo states. “As a result, a foreign national who receives deferred action status may be able to have all of his or her Social Security-covered earnings count toward qualifying for a Social Security benefit (all earnings from authorized and unauthorized work).”
[Daily Caller’s Vince Coglianese] Therefore, illegal immigrants who have previously paid into the Social Security system — while using a fraudulent Social Security number, for instance — will be eligible for benefits derived from that system. Those benefits include retirement, disability and survivor payments.
Harry Reid: “No Sane Country” Would Grant Amnesty & The 22 Times Obama Said He Wouldn’t
Share
Cartoon_Obama_Bob_Mack_50
Courtesy of Bob Mack
Even Senator Harry Reid said any country granting amnesty is ‘insane,’ and he included granting citizenship to babies born to illegals on U.S. soil. He cites the tremendous cost-burden on the U.S. taxpayer. See that at the end of this post. Obama’s first Congress, the Democrat-held Congress, could have passed amnesty in the legal manner through Congressional legislation, but didn’t even try. Have you had someone tell you, with huge and righteous attitude, that Congress DID pass “bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform?” I have, and when I explained that only the Senate passed such a bill, I’ve been told that I am wrong. Maybe that misunderstanding is a result of Obama’s ridiculous, and continual harping on the sanctity of the bill.
For whatever reasons in those first two years, Obama didn’t make immigration a priority. Perhaps it was absorption with ObamaCare, or the fact that he hadn’t yet gotten away with the illegalities of ObamaCare, and was not yet confident that Congress would let him do whatever he wanted to do, with no consequences.
You’ve heard that Obama has said 22 times that he did not have the power to make illegals legal. Among the 22, four times he said he wasn’t a “king.” On another subject, the sequester, he said “I’m not a dictator,” and on controlling Senator McConnell and Speaker Boehner, he said it again: “I’m not a dictator….”yet he, with Democrats suggested the sequester, and then refused to allow Republicans to prioritize sequester cuts, because doing it his way, cuts across the board,caused the most pain. In February 2013, he said “I’m not an emperor.” He has kings, dictators, and emperors on his mind, and I think today, he has figured out how to be as powerful as any of the three–Congress won’t stop him, so why not?
The 22 times he rejected executive fiat to usher in amnesty are follow this quote, when he was confronted with his 22 statements:
“Actually, my position hasn’t changed. When I was talking to the advocates, their interest was in me, through executive action, duplicating the legislation that was stalled in Congress.” New York Times, November 2014
The “legislation” didn’t stall. It was rejected by the House of Representatives. The Senate, alone, doesn’t get to be the decider.
“The biggest problems that we’re facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all, and that’s what I intend to reverse when I’m President of the United States of America.”  Senator Barack Obama, March 31, 2008 (Townhall in Lancaster, PA, March 31, 2008.)
Obama’s 22 admissions that he does not have the power to grant executive amnesty:
1) I take the Constitution very seriously. The biggest problems that we’re facing right now have to do with [the president] trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all. And that’s what I intend to reverse when I’m President of the United States of America. (3/31/08 – ABC News)
2) We’ve got a government designed by the Founders so that there’d be checks and balances. You don’t want a president who’s too powerful or a Congress that’s too powerful or a court that’s too powerful. Everybody’s got their own role. Congress’s job is to pass legislation. The president can veto it or he can sign it. … I believe in the Constitution and I will obey the Constitution of the United States. We’re not going to use signing statements as a way of doing an end-run around Congress. (5/19/08 – RealClearPolitics)
3) Comprehensive reform, that’s how we’re going to solve this problem. … Anybody who tells you it’s going to be easy or that I can wave a magic wand and make it happen hasn’t been paying attention to how this town works. (5/5/10 – Cinco de Mayo Celebration)
4) [T]here are those in the immigrants’ rights community who have argued passionately that we should simply provide those who are [here] illegally with legal status, or at least ignore the laws on the books and put an end to deportation until we have better laws. … I believe such an indiscriminate approach would be both unwise and unfair. It would suggest to those thinking about coming here illegally that there will be no repercussions for such a decision. And this could lead to a surge in more illegal immigration. And it would also ignore the millions of people around the world who are waiting in line to come here legally. Ultimately, our nation, like all nations, has the right and obligation to control its borders and set laws for residency and citizenship.  And no matter how decent they are, no matter their reasons, the 11 million who broke these laws should be held accountable. (7/1/10 – WhiteHouse.gov)
5) I do have an obligation to make sure that I am following some of the rules. I can’t simply ignore laws that are out there. I’ve got to work to make sure that they are changed. (10/14/10 – MTV/BET Town Hall)
6) I am president, I am not king. I can’t do these things just by myself. We have a system of government that requires the Congress to work with the Executive Branch to make it happen. I’m committed to making it happen, but I’ve got to have some partners to do it. … The main thing we have to do to stop deportations is to change the laws. … [T]he most important thing that we can do is to change the law because the way the system works – again, I just want to repeat, I’m president, I’m not king. If Congress has laws on the books that says that people who are here who are not documented have to be deported, then I can exercise some flexibility in terms of where we deploy our resources, to focus on people who are really causing problems as a opposed to families who are just trying to work and support themselves. But there’s a limit to the discretion that I can show because I am obliged to execute the law. That’s what the Executive Branch means. I can’t just make the laws up by myself. So the most important thing that we can do is focus on changing the underlying laws. (10/25/10 – Los Angeles Times)
7) America is a nation of laws, which means I, as the President, am obligated to enforce the law. I don’t have a choice about that. That’s part of my job. But I can advocate for changes in the law so that we have a country that is both respectful of the law but also continues to be a great nation of immigrants. … With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that’s just not the case, because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed …. [W]e’ve got three branches of government. Congress passes the law. The executive branch’s job is to enforce and implement those laws. And then the judiciary has to interpret the laws. There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply through executive order ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as President.” (3/28/11 – WhiteHouse.gov, Univision Town Hall)
8) I can’t solve this problem by myself. … [W]e’re going to have to have bipartisan support in order to make it happen. … I can’t do it by myself. We’re going to have to change the laws in Congress, but I’m confident we can make it happen. (4/20/11 – Facebook Town Hall)
9) I know some here wish that I could just bypass Congress and change the law myself.  But that’s not how democracy works.  See, democracy is hard.  But it’s right. Changing our laws means doing the hard work of changing minds and changing votes, one by one. (4/29/11 – WhiteHouse.gov Miami Dade College Commencement Address)
10) “Sometimes when I talk to immigration advocates, they wish I could just bypass Congress and change the law myself. But that’s not how a democracy works. What we really need to do is to keep up the fight to pass genuine, comprehensive reform. That is the ultimate solution to this problem. That’s what I’m committed to doing.” (5/10/11 – WhiteHouse.gov, El Paso, TX speech)
11) I swore an oath to uphold the laws on the books …. Now, I know some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own. Believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you. Not just on immigration reform. But that’s not how our system works. That’s not how our democracy functions. That’s not how our Constitution is written. (7/25/11 – WhiteHouse.gov speech to National Council of La Raza)
12) So what we’ve tried to do is within the constraints of the laws on the books, we’ve tried to be as fair, humane, just as we can, recognizing, though, that the laws themselves need to be changed. … The most important thing for your viewers and listeners and readers to understand is that in order to change our laws, we’ve got to get it through the House of Representatives, which is currently controlled by Republicans, and we’ve got to get 60 votes in the Senate. … Administratively, we can’t ignore the law. … I just have to continue to say this notion that somehow I can just change the laws unilaterally is just not true.  We are doing everything we can administratively.  But the fact of the matter is there are laws on the books that I have to enforce.  And I think there’s been a great disservice done to the cause of getting the DREAM Act passed and getting comprehensive immigration passed by perpetrating the notion that somehow, by myself, I can go and do these things.  It’s just not true. … We live in a democracy.  You have to pass bills through the legislature, and then I can sign it.  And if all the attention is focused away from the legislative process, then that is going to lead to a constant dead-end. We have to recognize how the system works, and then apply pressure to those places where votes can be gotten and, ultimately, we can get this thing solved. (9/28/11 – WhiteHouse.gov – Yahoo, MSN Latino, AOL Latino and HuffPo Latino Voices video)
In June 2012 [WhiteHouse.gov], President Obama unilaterally granted deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA), allowing “eligible individuals who do not present a risk to national security or public safety … to request temporary relief from deportation proceedings and apply for work authorization.” He then argued that he had already done everything he could legally do on his own:
13) Now, what I’ve always said is, as the head of the executive branch, there’s a limit to what I can do. Part of the reason that deportations went up was Congress put a whole lot of money into it, and when you have a lot of resources and a lot more agents involved, then there are going to be higher numbers. What we’ve said is, let’s make sure that you’re not misdirecting those resources. But we’re still going to, ultimately, have to change the laws in order to avoid some of the heartbreaking stories that you see coming up occasionally. And that’s why this continues to be a top priority of mine. … And we will continue to make sure that how we enforce is done as fairly and justly as possible. But until we have a law in place that provides a pathway for legalization and/or citizenship for the folks in question, we’re going to continue to be bound by the law. … And so part of the challenge as President is constantly saying, ‘what authorities do I have?’ (9/20/12 – Fox News Transcript, remarks at Univision)
14) We are a nation of immigrants. …But we’re also a nation of laws. So what I’ve said is, we need to fix a broken immigration system. And I’ve done everything that I can on my own[.] (10/16/12 – Presidential Debate, Hempstead, NY)
15) “I’m not a king. I am the head of the executive branch of government. I’m required to follow the law. And that’s what we’ve done. But what I’ve also said is, let’s make sure that we’re applying the law in a way that takes into account people’s humanity. That’s the reason that we moved forward on deferred action. Within the confines of the law we said, we have some discretion in terms of how we apply this law. (1/30/13 – ABC News, Brisbane, Australia)
16) I’m not a king. You know, my job as the head of the executive branch ultimately is to carry out the law.  And, you know, when it comes to enforcement of our immigration laws, we’ve got some discretion. We can prioritize what we do. But we can’t simply ignore the law. When it comes to the dreamers, we were able to identify that group and say, ‘These folks are generally not a risk. They’re not involved in crime. … And so let’s prioritize our enforcement resources.’ But to sort through all the possible cases of everybody who might have a sympathetic story to tell is very difficult to do. This is why we need comprehensive immigration reform. To make sure that once and for all, in a way that is, you know, ratified by Congress, we can say that there is a pathway to citizenship for people who are staying out of trouble, who are trying to do the right thing, who’ve put down roots here. … My job is to carry out the law. And so Congress gives us a whole bunch of resources. They give us an order that we’ve got to go out there and enforce the laws that are on the books.  … If this was an issue that I could do unilaterally I would have done it a long time ago. … The way our system works is Congress has to pass legislation. I then get an opportunity to sign it and implement it. (1/30/13 – NBC Latino)
17) This is something I’ve struggled with throughout my presidency. The problem is that I’m the president of the United States, I’m not the emperor of the United States. My job is to execute laws that are passed. And Congress right now has not changed what I consider to be a broken immigration system. And what that means is that we have certain obligations to enforce the laws that are in place even if we think that in many cases the results may be tragic. … [W]e’ve kind of stretched our administrative flexibility as much as we can[.] (2/14/13 – YouTube Hang-out)
18) I think that it is very important for us to recognize that the way to solve this problem has to be legislative. I can do some things and have done some things that make a difference in the lives of people by determining how our enforcement should focus. … And we’ve been able to provide help through deferred action for young people …. But this is a problem that needs to be fixed legislatively. (7/16/13 – Univision News)
19) My job in the executive branch is supposed to be to carry out the laws that are passed. Congress has said ‘here is the law’ when it comes to those who are undocumented, and they’ve allocated a whole bunch of money for enforcement. And, what I have been able to do is to make a legal argument that I think is absolutely right, which is that given the resources that we have, we can’t do everything that Congress has asked us to do. What we can do is then carve out the DREAM Act folks, saying young people who have basically grown up here are Americans that we should welcome. … But if we start broadening that, then essentially I would be ignoring the law in a way that I think would be very difficult to defend legally. So that’s not an option. … What I’ve said is there is a there’s a path to get this done, and that’s through Congress. (9/17/13 – RealClearPolitics Video)
20) [I]f, in fact, I could solve all these problems without passing laws in Congress, then I would do so. But we’re also a nation of laws. That’s part of our tradition. And so the easy way out is to try to yell and pretend like I can do something by violating our laws. And what I’m proposing is the harder path, which is to use our democratic processes to achieve the same goal that you want to achieve. … It is not simply a matter of us just saying we’re going to violate the law. That’s not our tradition. The great thing about this country is we have this wonderful process of democracy, and sometimes it is messy, and sometimes it is hard, but ultimately, justice and truth win out. (11/25/13 – WhiteHouse.gov Video)
21) I am the Champion-in-Chief of comprehensive immigration reform. But what I’ve said in the past remains true, which is until Congress passes a new law, then I am constrained in terms of what I am able to do. What I’ve done is to use my prosecutorial discretion, because you can’t enforce the laws across the board for 11 or 12 million people, there aren’t the resources there.  What we’ve said is focus on folks who are engaged in criminal activity, focus on people who are engaged in gang activity. Do not focus on young people, who we’re calling DREAMers …. That already stretched my administrative capacity very far. But I was confident that that was the right thing to do. But at a certain point the reason that these deportations are taking place is, Congress said, ‘you have to enforce these laws.’ They fund the hiring of officials at the department that’s charged with enforcing.  And I cannot ignore those laws any more than I could ignore, you know, any of the other laws that are on the books. That’s why it’s so important for us to get comprehensive immigration reform done this year.” (3/6/14 – Univision News)
22) I think that I never have a green light [to push the limits of executive power].  I’m bound by the Constitution; I’m bound by separation of powers.  There are some things we can’t do. Congress has the power of the purse, for example. … Congress has to pass a budget and authorize spending. So I don’t have a green light. … My preference in all these instances is to work with Congress, because not only can Congress do more, but it’s going to be longer-lasting.” (8/6/14 – WhiteHouse.gov) Source: Speaker.gov (I have added the name of the source)
Harry Reid’s current stance on Rule of Law Immigration
In 1993, Harry Reid said it was “insane” to offer a reward for being an illegal alien. Read commentary and view the video at Moonbattery
If making it easy to be an illegal alien isn’t enough, how about offering a reward for being an illegal alien? No sane country would do that? Right? Guess again. If you break our laws, without permission to enter and give birth to a child, we reward that child with U.S. citizenship, and guarantee a full access to all public and social services this society provides, and that’s a lot of services.
Is it any wonder that two-thirds of the babys born at taxpayer expense, county run hospitals in Los Angeles are born to illegal alien mothers? (Thanks to BadBlue)
Texas has recently released a report on the status of illegal aliens coming through Texas borders. A large focus in that report is the illegal alien gangs and cartels. It’s terrifying–can’t imagine living in that area, but the the Texas border isn’t so far from my own. Congressman Trey Gowdy and others have introduced four pieces of legislation to deny Obama’s amnesty executive orders. Details here. Keep fighting.
Texas Federal Judge Hits Back At Our Lawless President: Orders Him To Explain Why He Continues With Illegal Amnesty After Being Ordered To Stop
Share
U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen of Brownsville
US District Judge Andrew Hanen
Hat/tip to Doug Ross @ Journal.
As previously reported here, Texas Federal Judge Andrew Hanen had ordered an investigation into President Obama’s illegal activities concerning his amnesty via Executive Fiat.
Well now the judge has just called a “raise.”
The judge who put a halt to Obama’s amnesty plans was being pressured to put aside his ruling by Obama’s administration. But instead of bowing to pressure the judge demanded that Obama send his representatives to his courtroom to explain why they think they have the powers to even issue the amnesty and why they lied about what they’ve already done.
Obama’s team already admitted that they lied to federal Judge Andrew Hanen about what actions have been taken to push Obama’s amnesty and the judge is furious about it.
“The hearing is in response to a filing last week in which the government acknowledged three-year deportation reprieves were granted before Hanen’s Feb. 16 injunction, which temporarily halted Obama’s action, sparing from deportation as many as 5 million people in the U.S. illegally.”
The coalition of 26 states which had convinced Judge Hanen to temporarily block Obama’s executive amnesty charges that the government misled the judge about not implementing part of the plan before the judge halted it, giving the states more time to argue against the president’s unilateral action on immigration.
Judge Hanen is demanding that the administration explain why they issued amnesty papers to up to 100,000 illegals despite telling the judge they hadn’t made any such moves.
This brave judge is not buckling under Obama’s pressure and is instead bringing pressure of his own to bear.
God Blessed Texas!!!
Full Text of Texas Law Enforcement Border Surge Report: Gangs Running The Country
Share
Arizona_Land_Park_Closed_Drug_Cartels_Danger_2
Just look at the bottom line on the sign: “The Bureau of Land Management advises you to go north. “
Several of us have been sifting through a report on the conditions at the Texas border. Now the full report is available for you, and is embedded below. Those conditions, of course, drift north, west and east, and affect all of us. The report documents the cartels and gangs, and leaves no doubt that these seasoned criminals are running our country’s immigration policy. Dangerous illegals have been protected by the Obama administration–you remember the national forest in Arizona that was tricked-out with afederal government sign warning Americans not to enter. It just showed up one day, and Governor Jan Brewer was outraged. Her outrage did nothing, the sign remained. The park was turned over to illegals, drug runners, and gang members. I asked at the time: what does the care and feeding of an unused national park cost the taxpayer? The Department of Justice has handed the keys to America’s backdoor to the Sinaloa drug cartel, along with a steady weapons cache. Illegals of all types have been flooding over the border since the Senate Gang of 8 wrote and passed their traitorous immigration bill. (As elections near, remember the Republicans behind it: Senators Marco Rubio, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Jeff Flake).
Judicial Watch reported that the majority of crime in America is committed by illegal alien gangs. In the past, I also asked, doesn’t that make you madder than hell?
ms13-gang 002
Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), the gang the FBI is “most worried about, and has set up a dedicated task force exclusively to MS-13
MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha) is the gang the FBI is “most worried about,” according toBusiness Insider.
Originating in El Salvador, the gang has gone transnational, with members across the United States (in 42 states) and in countries like Guatemala and Mexico.
MS-13 has worked with Mexican drug cartels and communicates frequently with incarcerated members despite no official leadership structure.
The gang is notoriously violent, relentlessly cruel and merciless, with plenty of well-documented public crimes, such as a San Francisco member who killed a family for briefly blocking his car.
Border Patrol is routinely, and personally, assaulted by gangs, drug cartels and human traffickers. Read it here. How do we put up with this, or why do we put up with it? Oh, and Tell Me, WTF, Our Border Patrol’s Short on Rifles (Feb. 2015)?
Did you know that the numbers of illegals flowing over the Texas border every week, is more than the number of babies born to citizens in that state?
If your eyes glaze over at the embedded report, my original culling-through of the report is here, and Sara Noble at the Independent Sentinel took a look at another portion. Read it here.
280K SQ FT Facility Rented By Gov’t To Process Illegals, Will Cost Taxpayers Over $600,000 A Month Just For Rent
A 280,000 square foot compound in Alexandria, Virginia in the Crystal City neighborhood, will be rented by the government to ‘process’ illegals. It will cost taxpayers almost $650,000 monthly, before any other expenses are included. Another 3,100 government employees will be added to the federal payroll. The website,ArlingtonNow.com, quotes sources saying salaries at the facility will range from $34,400 to $157,100, and also identifies the building as “Crystal Plaza 4, a 46-year old office building.” Once again, Judicial Watch rings the bell.
UPDATE 3:06 PM CST: A commenter (many thanks) just left a link to Missouri Congresswoman Ann Wagner asking Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Director, Richard Cordray, about the high cost of this building:
During a Congressional hearing on Tuesday, an angry Wagner asked him to explain who authorized a $215 million expenditure on the “untouchable” agency’s new headquarters, Cordray sounded eerily like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who offered a similar response to questions posed in Congressional hearings last year about the 2012 murders of four Americans at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
“Why does that matter to you?” Cordray condescendingly responded to Wagner’s legitimate question. More at Breitbart, including a video (and transcript) of Cordray interrupting Wagner “four times in 30 seconds.”
The numbers are breathtaking and include a $647,590 monthly rent bill for a new facility at 2200 Crystal Drive in Arlington Virginia. It will be the processing headquarters for two Obama amnesty plans—Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA)—that will allow millions of illegal immigrants to remain in the U.S. Last month a federal court in Texas blocked the amnesty order, but records show the administration is ready to pull the trigger if it succeeds in appealing the ruling.
In fact a few weeks ago Judicial Watch reported that, despite the court order, the administration continued working behind the scenes to quickly award multi-million-dollar contracts to firms that can expeditiously process millions of illegal immigrants. A Request for Proposal (RFP) from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) estimates that the population of potential requesters for the president’s deferred action will be “approximately four million people” and that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) anticipates the initial filing of “approximately five to six million forms” related to the amnesty order which also covers the illegal immigrant parents of U.S. citizens and lawful residents.
It’s clear in the RFP’s pricing spreadsheets that it’s a huge taking that will cost American taxpayers a chunk of change, but now we have actual figures provided by government sources close to the negotiations. The Crystal City headquarters will get $1.5 million in “renovations/furniture,” $4 million in “telephone/data electronics,” $2.6 million in “workstation/desktop equipment” and $850,000 in “security upgrade,” according to the documents reviewed by JW. Around $3 million will be spent on an immigration processing program known as Computer Linked Adjudication Information Management System (CLAIMS) and $900,000 will go to video teleconference equipment. The annual rent will be $7,771,082, the document shows, and on-site guard services will run over $1 million.
Other expenses include over $1 million for barcode readers and printers, $90,000 for overtime utilities and tens of thousands for things such as employee background checks, drug testing, “instructor travel expenses” to train new hires and basic training books. The projected payroll for fiscal year 2015 alone is $21 million for an initial 1,000 extra federal workers. If the court injunction is lifted, the document says, and the initial planning estimate holds true, USCIS “might ultimately need to increase its total program costs of between $324 and $484 million per year.” That’s based on the assumption that 60% of all individuals who may be considered for DACA or DAPA would elect to file a request, according to the government memo. Read more at Judicial Watch
According to this source, Crystal City is in the southeastern corner of Arlington, Virginia, south of downtown Washington, D.C. Office buildings and residential high-rises are connected to retail stores though a web of underground corridors. “A large part of Crystal City is an underground city.” Located in Crystal City are the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Marshals Service, the EPA and some “satellite” offices for the Pentagon. Within Crystal City is Pentagon City.
Texas Law Enforcement Report on Terrorist Aliens, Cartels & Gangs
Share
ms13-gang 002
An unclassified, but “law enforcement sensitive” report on illegal alien crime, primarily in Texas, was published in the Houston Chronicle. It is shocking to read the extensive cartel activity inside the United States. My town of Tulsa sits straight north of Dallas, about a four-hour drive. Before getting into the report, didn’t you wonder how so many thousands of children could invade our borders, unaccompanied, and supposedly seeking their parents in the U.S.? How did they all show up within days, weeks of each other. Blink your eyes, they were here. Well, the government planned it months in advance, and issued a request titled “Escort Services for Unaccompanied Children.”
Finally, an event the president can’t claim he was surprised about or heard about in the news! Yes, for the first time ever, his administration actually planned well in advance, for the massive swell of illegals coming across the border. Specifically they planned for 65,000 illegals, mostly children under the age of 17, to come across the Texas border. Source: RedState
We heard how parents paid coyotes to get their children into this country, many of them from Central America, but think about what it would take to notify these parents, here in the U.S. and to inform them how to make payment. We should take a hard look at this country’s expenditures. I won’t be surprised to find that we paid criminals to bring the children into Texas. Just guessing. More here – and note the tens of thousands were not vaccinated.
Finally, here are some snippets from the Texas Law Enforcement Report, and please visit Independent Sentinel for other portions of this report. It is about 67 pages long, so it takes more than one of us to get the information out. Many thanks to Grumpy Opinions for coordinating.
Terrorists – designated Special Interest Aliens (SIA) – page 30 of report:
In the Texas Sector, SIAs increased 15 percent during the first nine months of 2014, compared to the same time period in 2013.
In total, 493 SIAs from the 35 countries of interest (compared to 428 during the same period last year) either were encountered illegally entering between Ports of Entry (apprehensions) or presenting themselves at Ports of Entry (inadmissible aliens)….Over the past few years, these have included SIAs from Afghanistan, Bangledesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, and Turkey.
In June 2014, a Somali member of al-Shabaab was encountered at the Hidalgo, Texas [Point of Entry]. He stated he had been trained in April 2014 for a suicide attack in Mogadishu…seeking immigration benefits…stated he was trained with 13 other Somalis for about 10 weeks to use suicide belts, AD-47s and grenades.
It goes on and on.
The following begins on page 15:
? Mexican cartels constitute the greatest organized crime threat to Texas. These powerful criminal organizations use military and terrorist tactics to battle each other and the government of Mexico for control over the lucrative U.S. drug and human smuggling markets. The cartels have also expanded involvement in other criminal activities beyond drug smuggling, including profiting from human trafficking, weapons, smuggling, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, and robbery.
? Mexican cartels control virtually all illegal smuggling activities through the U.S.-Mexico border and continue to supply most of the illicit drugs in the U.S. market. They produce and/or smuggle methamphetamine, marijuana, and heroin, and they have close, and extensive ties with cocaine supply sources in Central and South America.
? Seven of the eight major cartels operate in the state, moving drugs and people into the United States, and transporting cash, weapons and stolen vehicles back to Mexico. These include the Gulf Cartel, Los Zetas, Juarez Cartel, Sinaloa Cartel, Knights Templar, La Familia Michoacama, and the Beltran Leyva Organization. Of these the Gulf Cartel, Los Zetas, the Sinaloa Cartel, and the Juarez Cartel have the most extensive presence and influence throughout Texas.
…recent kidnappings underscore the nationwide reach of Mexican cartels.
As Sara Noble at Independent Sentinel asks, how does a Mexican national who becomes a naturalized U.S. citizen get a Texas law license when he was a former attorney for the Gulf Cartel?
In May 2013, a Southlake, Texas attorney was ambushed, shot and killed by three Mexican nationals while sitting in his SUV. The victim was also a Mexican national and reportedly a former attorney for a leader of the Gulf Cartel. At the time of the murder, two defendants held U.S. Border Cards (BCC) and the third defendant was a legal permanent resident. From approximately March 2011 to May 2013, the three defendants traveled from Mexico to Southlake, and elsewhere with the intent to kill the victim. The three defendants used e-mail to exchange personal information about the victim as well as his location, family, residence, and vehicles. They purchased and placed surveillance cameras around the victim’s neighborhood to track him and his family, in addition to placing tracking devices on their vehicles. While in the area, the defendants bought and rented new vehicles in order to avoid detection. The three men were arrested in McAllen in September 2016.
The report mentions a “Texas Syndicate member who was a confirmed Gulf Cartel associate.” This Texas Syndicate member was wanted for the murder of a 19-year-old (presumably a Texas citizen). What is the Texas Syndicate?
The Texas Syndicate is mostly Texas-based prison gang that includes Hispanic and, at one time, White members. The Texas Syndicate…has been more associated or allied with Mexican immgrant prisoners, known as “border brothers,”…
It was established in the 1970s at Folsom Prison in California in direct response to the other California prison gangs which were attempting to prey on native Texas inmates. Los Zetas cartel has been known to hire US gangs such as the Texas Syndicate and MS-13 to carry out contract killings. Source.
texas gang threat rankings
I don’t know about your thoughts, but there is no excuse for prison gangs.
? We are particularly concerned about the expansion and influence of MS-13, and assess that a further influx of MS-13 members across the border is likely. MS-13 is a large transnational gang with members in the United States, Mexico, and Central America. The gang is composed of loosely organized cliques with no known centralized hierarchy. U.S.-based MS-13 cliques exhibit varying degrees of loyalty to the central leaders in El Salvador….Several U.S. cities have large concentrations of MS-13 members, including Los Angeles, Charlotte (North Carolina), New York, Houston, and the Washington, D.C. area.
? As of December 2013, the National Gang Intelligence Center assessed that MS-13 has been expanding as a result of travel to and from the United States and Central America, and that the gang will continue to expand and strengthen its presence and transnational connectivity….
? …the Rio Grande Valley (RVG) is home to multiple transnational gangs, including MS-13, and represents 43 percent of all gang members in the RVG.
? On September 15, 2014, the mutilated body of a 14-year-old middle school student was discovered in the woods near Houston after he was murdered with a machete…investigation indicates the victim was a U.S. citizen and an MS-13 member who was murdered after refusing to murder his own cousin and for becoming a practicing Christian and trying to leave the gang…Among the group of MS-13 members connected to this murder, at least four individuals revealed that they entered the U.S. at the border in the past 3-8 months.
Drug Smuggling (Note that Human Smuggling and Human Sex Trafficking are intertwined):
We judge that Mexican cartels control, facilitate, or benefit from nearly all human smuggling activity along the U.S.-Mexico border…
Mexican cartels dominate the lucrative U.S. drug and human smuggling markets…resulting billions of dollars of profit…
The Texas-Mexico border area is one of the most active drug smuggling areas in the United States.
Mexico is the dominate foreign producer of heroin, marijuana, and methamphetamine for the U.S. market…
Human Smuggling:
We judge that nearly all illegal aliens who have illegally centered the United States made use of alien smuggling organizations (ASOs), nearly all of which are associated with Mexican cartels. These criminal organizations guide groups of illegal aliens across the border and, in many cases, continue to move them through a series of stash houses in the United States en route to a destination beyond the immediate border.
Criminal Arrests of Illegal Aliens in Texas:
According to DHS [Department of Homeland Security] status indicators, between June 1, 2011, and December 31, 2014, more than 96,000 illegal aliens were arrested for criminal offenses and booked into Texas jails. During their criminal careers, these criminal illegal aliens have been charged with more than 247,000 criminal offenses. Those arrests include 561 homicide charges, 27,588 assault charges, 8,984 burglary charges, 31,154 drug charges, 394 kidnapping charges, 17,133 theft charges, 23,476 obstructing police charges, 19,72 robbery charges, 2,826 sexual assault charges, and 3,770 weapons charges.
Of the above numbers, the report says:
These numbers are not a complete count of all crimes committed by illegal aliens in Texas, and likely represent an undercount of all such crime, and the numbers do no account for the unknown number of illegal aliens who were arrested prior to June 2011.
Illegal alien Mexican nationals, arrested and deported multiple times, killed an off-duty Border Patrol agent who was fishing with his family in Willacy County, Texas.
While this report is issued by the state of Texas, these people spread across the U.S. We will always have criminals, but who would have thought our law enforcement could be rendered so impotent?
End note: The report was published at the Houston Chronicle.
BREAKING NEWS: Obama Plans To Give Amnesty To 15 Million Illegals, Making A “Country Within A Country”
Share
king obama the fundamental transformer
Hat/Tip to BFH at IOTWReport.com and The Mark Levin Show.
Between this lawless executive amnesty and his lawless ban on AR-15 rounds and his veto of the Keystone XL Pipeline, the last two years of Obama’s tenure are shaping up to be quite brutal for the American way of life.
But it is really more insidious than just his flouting the Constitution. What follows in this article and interview from the Mark Levin Show is a plan so sinister that it rivals any social engineering done by any left wing, tin-pot dictator every perpetrated upon mankind. Obama is an astute student of Saul Alinsky and of the Cloward – Piven strategy; and as such, he knows full well the only way to take down America is from within. THAT is what is so sinister about his latest scheme.
The White House has plans to legalize more than 10 million illegal Americans and have them form a “country within a country.”
The following Mark Levin interview with Susan Payne of WCBM, Baltimore is shocking but it also puts all the pieces into place.
Unbeknownst to the Obama officials, Ms. Payne was invited to listen in on conference calls at an immigration rally. Cecilia Munoz, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, and 16 members of the White House cabinet were on the first call.  What Ms. Payne learned needs to be immediately shared with Congress and the public.
The “Task Force of New Americans” and the “Receiving Communities” are part of a plan by the Obama administration to develop a “country within a country” which will eventually form a new, and instantly fundamentally transformed United States.
The conference calls and meetings surrounding the task force made it clear Barack Obama is planning to legalize and protect 13 to 15 million illegal immigrants who will then be moved onto citizenship.
When these “new Americans” come out of the shadows, the communities in which they’ve been placed will be designated as “receiving communities.”
The “new Americans” are considered “seedlings” by the White House and the “receiving communities” are the “fertile ground” to nurture them, according to comments made during the meetings.
Citizens will then be pushed into the shadows.
One member of the task force said they will be forming a “country within a country.”
At the meetings, it was said that “immigrants need to be aware of benefits they are entitled to.”
The participants in the meeting also discussed the fact that these immigrants would not be interested in assimilating. They would “navigate not assimilate”.
Obama’s plan is to treat the “new Americans” as refugees as soon as amnesty is pushed through.
Refugees are given a salary, housing, food, medical care, education, and an immediate pathway to citizenship.
The meeting participants also discussed the need to convince state and local officials to give no interest loans to the “refugees.” This way we can fund our own destruction.
Listen to this shocking and frightening interview:
All this information was available in November, only the goals were not so clearly stated.
It’s not just those who receive amnesty, it’s all the immigrants he is transporting from the Middle East, Africa, Haiti and so on.
He has tied the hands of Border Patrol and ICE. He has opened our borders and refuses to vet those who get through.
We mustn’t forget that the Obama administration hand selected neighborhoods that would take illegal immigrants, most noticeably this past summer when he flew them all over the country and wouldn’t tell anyone where they were. They were not only children, there were many adults.
Cecilia Munoz, who was in on the conference call, is tied to LaRaza and it is LaRaza and other radical open borders groups who are behind forcing illegal immigrants onto neighborhoods and then treating them like a protected class.
A HUD rule passed in July 2013 was reversed by a U.S. District Court but it does look like the plan to develop “receiving communities.”
Judge Richard Leon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia reversed it because he objected to the department overstepping its powers to legislate and deliver outcomes never intended by Congress.
Reversed or not, it shows where the administration is going.
The audacity of this plan is unprecedented in its scope. We must do everything in our power to stop this. Call you Congressman and Senator TODAY! Refer them to this article and let’s get this stopped.
