Altercation begins at about 5:55: A recently released St. Louis dashboard camera shows part of a contested arrest. (Graphic content)

Hat/Tip to CounterCurrentNews and Chicago Tribune.

Videos have been released that allegedly show another confrontation between Ferguson, MO police and another young man. This incident is purported to have occurred a few weeks before the Michael Brown incident that sparked riots, looting and national outrage.

A recently released video of an arrest in which St. Louis police are accused of using excessive force shows officers pulling a resisting suspect from a car, kicking him and shocking him with a stun gun before the camera is shut off abruptly.

The dashboard camera video ends after an officer involved in the April 2014 arrest of Cortez Bufford yells, in part, “Everybody hold up. We’re red right now!” the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported this week.

(Altercation begins at about 5:55 in video above)

Joel Schwartz and Bevis Schock, the attorneys who filed suit on behalf of Bufford last month in St. Louis Circuit Court, say “red” is cop slang for a running camera. They say the video, which they released, supports their case that police lacked probable cause and applied excessive force in the arrest. The charges against Bufford of unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest were later dropped.

A circuit attorney’s spokeswoman, Susan Ryan, told the newspaper the case was dismissed because “the action of turning off the dash cam video diminished the evidentiary merits of the case.” She also said a review showed the officers did not break the law.

A police spokeswoman told KTVI-TV that the officer who turned off the camera “has been recommended” for discipline but is appealing.

A lawyer for the St. Louis Police Officers’ Association insists the video reflects a proper escalation of force applied against a resisting suspect who reached for a gun.

The stop followed 911 reports of shots fired. Five minutes later, according to a police report, two officers watched as a silver Ford Taurus made an “illegal” U-turn and “abruptly parked.” One officer searched and handcuffed the passenger as the other talked through the car window with Bufford, the driver, the report said.

One officer wrote of smelling marijuana and seeing “plastic baggies and a green leafy substance.” Bufford “became agitated,” one officer wrote, refused to give his name and reached for a pants pocket before the officer warned him to keep his hands in view. Bufford refused orders to get out, and an officer called for backup when Bufford became “increasingly hostile,” according to the report.

The report said that after an officer maneuvered Bufford to the ground, Bufford struggled and reached for his pocket. The video shows officers struggling with Bufford as another arrives and kicks at him. The police report says an officer administered a “foot strike” to keep Bufford from reaching his weapon.

Bufford hit and kicked several officers, the report says, before another officer “administered a foot strike” to the leg, and Bufford was jolted with a Taser twice.

You’ve seen the post image, I’ve used it for years.  This story explains why I use it.  It is one story of many-union goons caught violating the law.  However, what this makes this story a rarity is that the goons were caught and indicted…

10 In Union ‘Goon Squads’ Indicted For Violence, Arson In Philadelphia – The Foundry

Ten members of a Philadelphia ironworkers union are charged with conspiring to commit extortion, arson, destruction of property, and assault to force construction contractors to hire union workers, according to the FBI.

.

.
The FBI this week said the members of Ironworkers Local 401 collaborated with allies who sought out construction sites that employed non-union workers, threatening personnel there with “violence, destruction of property or other criminal acts unless union members were hired.”

So-called “goon squads,” including a group calling itself “The Helpful Union Guys” (or THUGs) went into action. Some “set a crane on fire and cut steel beams and colts” at a Quaker Meeting House construction site in 2012, according to the indictment. In 2010, union members assaulted non-union workers with baseball bats at another construction site.

In 2013, they “threatened the contractor of an apartment complex… if he did not hire Local 401 members,” the indictment said. As a result, “the contractor relinquished his profits and turned the job over to a union-affiliated contractor.”

Experts say such incidents go both under-reported and prosecuted. National Institute for Labor Relations Research has documented over 9,000 reports of union violence since 1975, of which “barely 3 percent… have led to an arrest and conviction.”

This story has it all; vandalism, destruction of property, threats, arson, you name it.  It’s union goons in action.  And, all of this reflects back to one fact-that unions are so great, that people have to be forced to deal with them.

Peaceful Anti-Fracking Protesters Peacefully Throw Firebombs at Police, Discovered to Have Peaceful Improvised Explosive Devises

Share

leftyprotestsYou really have to love the peaceful protesters out there.  For example, some peace loving anti-fracking protesters from Canada showed their non-violence by throwing peaceful firebombs and non-violently burnt up about six police cars.  You know…peacefully!

Earlier this month, protesters in New Brunswick, Canada—who for weeks “blockaded a staging area where an energy firm stores its equipment”—hurled molotov cocktails at police, destroyed six police vehicles, and fired at least one gunshot.

This “[v]iolence erupted as officers moved in to enforce a court injunction won by the company to remove the protesters’ highway camp” that was blocking the company’s access to its equipment, reports BBC News. Police officers arrested more than forty “protesters” and confiscated weapons, including improvised explosive devises.

The leader of the New Brunswick Green party claims the anti-fracking activists “were simply trying to protect their right to safe water and the well-being of their communities through peaceful civil disobedience.” Regardless of any irresolvable disputes here inherent in the nature of “public” property, fracking, which takes place thousands of feet underground, does not threaten groundwater, and violent assaults on police are not “peaceful.”

These guys must have taken some pointers from the Occupy Movement, whose peacefully violent acts were covered here in great detail.  At any rate, please be very careful around peaceful protesters, because they just might peacefully kill you with fire-peacefully, of course!

“Kill Zimmerman” Spray Painted on PA Business, Then Torched

Share

An arson occurred on Sunday night with a familiar theme.  “Kill Zimmerman” was spray painted on a PA business, and then, the business itself was set ablaze.  Gateway Pundit, who still has not linked the CH 2.0, has the video…

Vandals in Pennsylvania painted “Kill Zimmerman” on the side of ProSigns before it was torched on Sunday.

ABC Local reported:

Police in Chester County, Pennsylvania are investigating an act of vandalism with racial overtones, possibly connected to the fallout from the verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial.

Photographs obtained by Action News show what firefighters found Sunday night when they responded to a fire at ProSigns, a company that manufactures commercial signs for businesses, in the 200 block of Boot Road.

You can clearly see the words “Kill Zimmerman” painted in red paint on the front wall.

This is, once again, nothing that is going be discussed on the MSM. I wonder why?

And, I wonder if anyone is going to link this to the divisive rhetoric spread about by race baiters like Al Sharpton?

Forget that, no wondering required.

Did Union Thugs Destroy a Church?

Share

union thug

Apparently, even God isn’t above the reach of union thugs.  Here’s the background.  Quakers (not the Oatmeal folks, the actual religion) needed a new “meeting house” (their place of worship=church).  However, they decided to go with non-union labor.  That’s when things, shall we say, got interesting.  Philly .com,  via Weasel Zippers has more…

As agonizing as the process was, the result is a trim little design, faced in traditional Wissahickon schist, that will visibly reflect the ideals Quakers hold dear, from respect for the environment to plain old good neighborliness. And yet, in one crucial way, the $5.8 million project now under construction is also a frank acknowledgment of real-world conditions: To afford Philadelphia’s first new Quaker meetinghouse in 80 years, the Chestnut Hill Friends felt their only option was to employ a nonunion contractor.

And now they are paying the price.

Four days before Christmas, the Friends’ world was rocked by the sort of violence they have devoted their lives to stamping out.

Vandals with an acetylene torch crept onto the project’s muddy construction site in the middle of the night. Working out of view in the meetinghouse’s freshly cemented basement, they sliced off dozens of bolts securing the bare steel columns and set fire to the building crane, causing $500,000 in damage.

Police detectives deemed the attack arson because of a series of confrontational visits from union officials days before the incident. They say the torch could only have been operated by a trained professional, and believe it was almost certainly the work of disgruntled union members. The city has assigned extra investigators to the case and is working with federal forensic experts to track down the vandals, said Michael Resnick, the city’s public safety commissioner.

If this turns out to be true, it would be yet another example of the terror tactics used by unions.  If someone steps outside of the union influence, they must be punished.  And, it doesn’t appear that they even respect God.  It must be good to be a union boss.  Great pay, lots of perks, millions of workers that are forced to pay tribute to you, and you even get to attack God.

No wonder union bosses think so highly of themselves.

Occupod Engages in Inflammatory Behavior: Burns Down Historic Town Hall

Share

Unfortunately for the occupod, he too, was flammable.

Kyle Lawrence, a Colorado Springs Occupier, remains in a Denver Hospital burn unit with second degree burns that he received when he was caught on fire during the arson that leveled the Historic Green Mountain Falls Town Hall.

Red, White, Blue News has the story on this leftwing idiot.

And, here’s video from the local news.

And, let me guess, he really isn’t an occupod; he’s an infiltrator, or perhaps someone from DHS, or Andrew Breitbart?

More Peaceful Rhetoric from OWS: Molotov Cocktails for Macy’s? Update: Man Making Threats Arrested

Share

File this under the gigantic pile labled “totally not violent.”

So then, how many more of these to people need to see.  I actually had to slow down on OWS coverage, as I didn’t have enough time to cover all of the violence, vandalism, rape, filth, and the like.  Every day, for weeks, there was a continuous flow of garbage coming out of OWS, and it isn’t stopping.

I still think this is going to get worse, the Occupods haven’t gotten what they wanted, so they are going to escalate.

UPDATE:  Verum Serum is reporting that the Occupod that threatened Macy’s with a Molotov Cocktail has been arrested…

VS gets results:

Nkrumah Tinsley, 29, was busted after cops saw his tirade at Zuccotti online, where he was recorded on video claiming he would torch the city during Thursday’s mass protest.

“On the 17th [of Nov.\], we’re going to burn New York City to the f—ing ground,” an angry Tinsley told a crowd of demonstrators in the video posted on Tuesday.

“In a few days, you’re going to see what a Molotov coctail can do to Macy’s.”

Tinsley, of Harlem, was charged with making terroristic threats.

VS gets results indeed.  Well done!

Occupy Fort Collins Protester Arrested for Suspected Arson

Share

Apparently, arson (allegedly) is not above the Occupods.  Verum Serum has the coverage…

Among all the crimes attributed to the occupations across the country–rape, assault, theft, vandalism–there was still one missing…until now:

Police have arrested an Occupy Fort Collins protester in connection with a $10 million arson fire that damaged dozens of condominiums and businesses in Fort Collins.

Benjamin David Gilmore, 29, was arrested on Thursday night on suspicion of arson, burglary and criminal mischief.

On Oct. 24, a fire started at 3:30 a.m. in a four-story apartment complex under construction. The fire spread to the occupied Penny Flats condominium and retail building next door.

In another fine tradition of the Occupods, they are apparently stereotyping the homeless, and blaming them for the fire.  Aren’t the homeless among the 99%?  I’m sure that they were once successful, but the evil bankers came along and stole their money.  It’s the Occupod narrative, so why to they blame them for their problems?
