Many Americans will be working off all those calories they consumed yesterday by pushing and shoving their way through the crowds to spend their hard earned cash on those Black Friday bargains (a traditions I could do without). Retailers typically count on their Black Friday sales for a large percentage of their annual revenues. According to the video at this Fox News link, bargain hunters won’t be the only ones showing up at Wallmart stores. Union protesters are planning to march on 1600 Walmart stores today to demand higher minimum wages from the purveyors of all those Chinese made […]
According to the Secret Service, the credit card information of millions were potentially stolen from Target around the time of Black Friday. I caught this story over at WTAE.. NEW YORK (CNNMoney) —The Secret Service is investigating a reported credit card data breach at discount retailer Target. Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary confirmed the investigation Wednesday evening. He declined to comment further. Leary’s comments came following a report from respected security researcher Brian Krebs that Target had suffered a data breach around the time of Black Friday last month “potentially involving millions of customer credit and debit card records.” Target […]
As one of my Facebook friends put it… For all you weirdos that leave the house early on Black Friday to go shopping… The Black Friday sales flyers are being made public. If you can get there in time, it’s open season on deals! On the other hand, many don’t go out. Many don’t want to be crushed in a wave of smelly, low information voters, or don’t want to catch a disease from an occupod. Some don’t agree with making retail workers sweat on a family oriented holiday. I get that. So, you could, mind you, come this this […]
When a Democrat doesn’t like something, they either try to ban it, or they make it impossible to do without banning it. In this case, they are going with the direct ban. It seems that a Missouri Democrat, Jeff Roorda, wants to tell businesses when they can start their Black Friday sales. The Missouri Torch has the details… Sorry, you’re too stupid to decide whether or not you should go shopping or not, so this great regressive democrat will decide for you.
In the latest example of attempted union thuggery and fail, union organizers attempted to stage protests in front of Walmarts in the busiest shopping day of the year. For starters, it appears that protests were rather sparse. Twitchy has the following… The Twitchy post has a great deal more information, so feel free to go check it out. For the second part, here is a video featuring the outcome at the Landover, Maryland WalMart. Apparently, the union bosses shipped in about five buses worth of rent-a-mob to the scene. Here are some quick points… 1. The bosses had to ship […]
I wonder if the Occupods realize that insulting people, or otherwise getting in the way of people doing what they want, doesn’t exactly win their “hearts and minds.” Given the events of yesterday, probably not. The Occupods tried to disrupt Black Friday, and it seemed to be rather counter-productive, given some of the video footage. Here is some coverage from GateWay Pundit… Then, here is some more from Labor Union Report… I think that in the long run, the Occupods are going to find that using Alinsky on the entire consumer base is just going to tick people off.
Black Friday: Why Risk Getting TB or Lice From a Smelly Hippie When You can do all of Your Shopping Here?
Black Friday is coming soon, my friends, and the Occupods have plans to disrupt it… We at the CH 2.0 recognize the public health risk that the Occupods pose. Their tendency to urinate and defecate in public, the fact that some may be carrying tuberculosis, and that many have been infested with lice and scabies, all pose a public health risks. Additionally, their rampant anti-Semitism, acts of violence and vandalism, or the simple fact that they are smelly hippies may ruin an an otherwise happy shopping experience, have prompted us to action. Why should you risk an infection disease, or […]
