Back in 2009 and 2010, bloggers such as myself warned that ObamaCare would cause people to be turned down for care-it would be rationed to decrease costs.  We said that more claims would be denied under ObamaCare.  At that time, the democrats told everyone not to listen to us, because we were being paid by the insurance companies, or were crazy, or racists.  Well, it’s now 2014, and guess what? More care is being denied.  For what is sure to be the first of many stories of this type, here is more from The Western Center for Journalism…

If you remember our posts on Donald Berwick, and Ezekiel “easy kill” Emanuel, we told you this was coming.  The very old and the very young are targets in this “”Brave New World” of government controlled medical care.

The Redstate article also shows that Berwick publicly embraces rationing.

The interviewer pointed out: “Critics of CER have said that it will lead to the rationing of health care.” To which Berwick replied: “The decision is not whether or not we will ration care. The decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open.”

OK, here’s the twist; we’ve heard some very similar things before.  Ezekiel Emanuel, Rahm’s brother, is a government adviser on health care.  Here are some quotes from Emanuel.

“Strict youngest-first allocation directs scarce resources predominantly to infants. This approach seems incorrect. The death of a 20-year-old woman is intuitively worse than that of a 2-month-old girl, even though the baby has had less life. The 20-year-old has a much more developed personality than the infant, and has drawn upon the investment of others to begin as-yet-unfulfilled projects…. Adolescents have received substantial substantial education and parental care, investments that will be wasted without a complete life. Infants, by contrast, have not yet received these investments…. It is terrible when an infant dies, but worse, most people think, when a three-year-old child dies, and worse still when an adolescent does.”

Source:  First Things

“Ultimately, the complete lives system does not create ‘classes of Untermenschen whose lives and well being are deemed not worth spending money on,’ but rather empowers us to decide fairly whom to save when genuine scarcity makes saving everyone impossible.”

“When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated”

So, they will use rationing per population, just like Berwick suggests.

As you can see.  We were right about ObamaCare 4-5 years ago.  And, they are doing exactly what they said they would do.

But I’m sure they’ll still deny it, and blame someone else.

Planned ParenthoodValerie Tarico is a Planned Parenthood board member, and has been featured in several leftist publications.  Here are some lowlights regarding her work and beliefs, via Christian News…

In a Huffington Post article last January, Tarico claimed that abortion is “a sacred gift.” She also encouraged people to “honor women who decide to terminate pregnancies” and “honor doctors who provide abortion services,” since they are “doing God’s work.”

“An abortion when needed is a blessing,” Tarico posited. “It is a gift, a grace, a mercy, a cause for gratitude, a new lease on life. Being able to choose when and whether to bring a child into the world enables us and our children to flourish.”

In one of Tarico’s most recent articles, initially published on AlterNet in late December, she lists ten reasons why she believes that Christianity is “in decline.”

“Things are looking bright for those who would like to see humanity more grounded in science and reason,” Tarico asserts.

There is more over at the link, but let’s make a few points…

1.  Tarico thinks that killing babies is a “blessing.”

2.  Nothing says “enabling a child to flourish” like killing other children.

3.  We should honor people that have their babies killed, and those that kill them.

4.  An organization, Planned Parenthood, that was created for the purpose of exterminating the “black race,” is somehow of a higher ethical standing as Christians.

And these are the “advanced and enlightened” people?  To which, I respond with Psalms 53:1…

The fool says in his heart,
    “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.

Just remind me; we DID win WW II, didn’t we?

Jesus Isn’t Allowed in School, but Islam is …

Share

In my previous post, “Jesus is not allowed in school“, we saw the perfect example of how Christians and in particular Christian children are being bullied by the benevolent American education system. Time and again we get the “separation of church and state” line of crap. However it’s obvious that only applies to the Christian church or any mention of Jesus Christ. It doesn’t matter if it’s Christmas or Easter … Christian kids are not allowed to mention the name of Christ. (for the sake of ignorant liberals: Christmas is the celebration of Christ’s birth. Easter is the celebration of Christ’s resurrection without which there is no salvation …)

Moving along here, my friend and frequent visitor Muse 1876, left a link for me. I decided to post something about it.

Public schools grapple with Muslim prayer
A San Diego school adjusts its schedule to accommodate Muslim worship.

When afternoon recess comes at an elementary school on the outskirts of San Diego, some students rush out for a quick game of hopscotch, while others gather in a room for Muslim worship. Like a growing number of school districts around the country, San Diego’s is changing its ways to meet the needs of its Islamic students. Here, a controversy with constitutional overtones erupted: In accommodating Muslim students, is the school unfairly promoting religion?

The school’s policy “presumes that Christians are less religious and less inspired to worship and praise the Lord and come together,” says Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute. He is asking the school district to set up special rooms where Christians can pray, too.

This outcry, and others like it from conservative commentators and attorneys, suggest that the whole matter may land in court. Potentially at issue is to what extent actions taken by a public school to accommodate special religious needs of some students might require similar allowances for other students.

For now, about 100 students in the Arabic language program at Carver Elementary School are finishing their first year under a daily schedule that gives them a 15-minute recess period in the afternoon, about an hour after lunch. Many of the students are Muslim and transferred from an Arabic-language charter school that folded. Carver Elementary revised its schedule so the students would have the option to pray at the specific times ordained by their religion, says attorney Brent North, who represents the school district. A teacher is present to watch the praying children but cannot lead or take part in the observance.

A question of faith?

Five daily prayers are “part of our fundamental faith,” explains Akram Shami, a retired bank security manager who volunteers at the Islamic Center of Southern California in Los Angeles. “We pray to God, we worship God, and we recite verses from the Koran.” One prayer is typically performed at specific times around noon or 1 p.m., depending on the time of year, although Muslims differ on the mandated prayer times.

At some public schools, students leave class momentarily or wait to pray until they get home. Mr. Shami says his faith allows prayers to be combined at a later time if necessary.

The San Diego district took special action regarding the timing of recess because “the Muslim faith requires specificity of prayer obligations … that most other religions do not,” Mr. North says. He denies reports that a new recess was added specifically to address the religious needs of the Muslim students.

“As a constitutional law attorney, I don’t care whether kids do or don’t pray in schools. I don’t care to whom or how they pray,” North says. But he adds that he does have to make sure that religious requests are treated in a neutral way.

MORE RIGHT ABOUT HERE

So, the school’s policy  ”presumes that Christians are less religious and less inspired to worship and praise the Lord and come together.”  Can you believe this line of certified b.s.? In my previous post, some Christian kid couldn’t even hand out Christmas candy cane with a benign little religious saying on it, but schools will set up rooms and special times during the day to accommodate Muslims and their prayer times.

I’m sick of liberals and these perverts in schools bullying Christian children … along with the ACLU and/or some parent who gets offended at a cross or some “Christian” symbol displayed in public schools but won’t say one word about the above piece.

I think it’s about time Christians get off their dead, complacent rear-ends and get involved. Make as much, if not more noise than the godless, the atheists and the Muslims and let the left-wing liberal freaks know we’re tired of it. I mean come on folks. What’s it going to take? There are so many Christians who are content to go to their little churches on Sunday and maybe a mid-week service and that’s it. I suppose that’s okay, but Christians need to get involved in politics to a certain extent. “Oh, I’m not interested in politics” you’ll hear them say. Well, they’d better get interested because politics and who we elect to make laws, has a direct effect on our freedom to worship as we choose. One doesn’t have to be into politics to a fault, but geez folks, get involved enough so that after Sunday service and IHop and the football game you can make a difference by getting informed and making wise choices. Until Christians do, collectively, the “Jesus isn’t allowed in school” bunch will continue and will get much worse. Stop being bullied by little weasels, because that’s all they are. Limp-wristed, panty-waist little freaks.

Pro-Gay Website Admits Indoctrination Agenda: Targets Children

Share

culture war

I know, this could well be classified under ‘Duh,” but a gay website has fully endorsed and admitted that their goal in education is to indoctrinate children.  Here are some excerpts…

Warning:  Content inappropriate for children!-Matt

Can We Please Just Start Admitting That We Do Actually Want To Indoctrinate Kids?

In response to New York’s recently introduced marriage equality bill, the so-called National Organization for Marriage got a bunch of pictures of black people and some guy who sounds like Foghorn Leghorn to repeat the same lies about indoctrinating schoolchildren that they ran in 2009. They accuse us of exploiting children and in response we say, “NOOO! We’re not gonna make kids learn about homosexuality, we swear! It’s not like we’re trying to recruit your children or anything.” But let’s face it—that’s a lie. We want educators to teach future generations of children to accept queer sexuality. In fact, our very future depends on it.

Why would we push anti-bullying programs or social studies classes that teach kids about the historical contributions of famous queers unless we wanted to deliberately educate children to accept queer sexuality as normal?

Remember, Prop 8 passed along age lines with the very old voting largely in favor of it. The younger generation doesn’t fear homosexuality as much because they’re exposed to fags on TV, online, and at school. And I don’t know a single lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender person who wants that to stop. I for one certainly want tons of school children to learn that it’s OK to be gay, that people of the same sex should be allowed to legally marry each other, and that anyone can kiss a person of the same sex without feeling like a freak. And I would very much like for many of these young boys to grow up and start fucking men. I want lots of young ladies to develop into young women who voraciously munch box. I want this just as badly as many parents want their own kids to grow up and rub urinary tracts together to trade proteins and forcefully excrete a baby.

You can read the rest.  I would almost say that this is refreshing, in that this writer at least admits that the agenda exists and that the goal is acceptance and “recruitment.”  I really can’t say more, the author at Queerty really said it all.

There is a war being fought over our the hearts, minds, and even the souls of our children.  The “other side,” is open about their objectives.  We ought to take that seriously.

Child Porn Bust Frees 368 Kids, 76 Arrrested in the US

Share

Persons cheering for the normalization of pedophilia were disappointed today, as 368 children were rescued, and 76 people were arrested in the US for child porn.  Weasel Zippers has more…

Via NY Post:

TORONTO — A sweeping child pornography investigation has led to the rescue of 386 children around the world and the arrest of 348 people, Canadian police said Thursday.

Toronto police describe the Project Spade operation as one of the largest child porn busts they’ve ever seen.

“It is alleged that officers seized hundreds of thousands of videos detailing horrific sexual acts against very young children, some of the worst that they have ever viewed,” Inspector Joanna Beaven-Desjardins said.

Police said 108 people were arrested in Canada and 76 in the U.S. Others were arrested in other countries.

Australian Federal Police commander Glen McEwen on Friday confirmed that 65 men had been arrested in Australia as a result of the Canadian investigation, and six Australian children had been removed from harm.

Police said the children were “rescued from child exploitation” but did not give more details.

Now, here is the ironic part-if you recall, both The Other McCain and myself covered the comments of of one Dr. James Kincaid, who has some curious opinions regarding pedophilia…

Kincaid told the Star he doesn’t think it’s a matter of rounding up “a few freaks and a few pedophiles and horrible monsters who regard young people as attractive.”

He said the real problem is that in the United States there is enormous attention paid to stranger kidnappings of children that draws the focus away from a higher incidence of children who are physically or emotionally abused.

Earlier, he told his audience that Canada is more enlightened than the U.S., where the public requires a steady diet of “predator kidnappers, Internet stalkers of youth, kiddie porn rings and such fantasies to maintain national identity.”

Of Internet predators, he added, “we are given to believe that they are legion, but the hard evidence is small.”

R.S. McCain has more on the “hard evidence,” as well as the obvious disconnect with what Kincaid is saying, and what he writes.  Given that the FBI rounds them up by the 100?s on a fairly regular basis, and  Anonymous takes down entire networks of them, you’d think that Kincaid would couch his ideas a tad bit more carefully.  But, he doesn’t

But more importantly, Kincaid uses a different tactic.  Whereas a #FreeKate supporter will simply say that it’s “consensual,” and therefore redefining a crime into something that is just as normal as the sunrise, Kincaid says that it happens, but it’s insignificant, and we’re just blowing it all out of proportion.  He wants us to think that the pedophile is a “boogeyman” invented in the dark recesses of hypocritical Christians in order to suppress the “healthy” and “normal” sexual urges of children.  In other words, he’s saying, “just move along, nothing to see here.”

Odd how quite a few of those “enlightened” Canadians were part of this recent child porn bust, isn’t it?  And no, that is not an insult to our Canadian friends, but rather, it points out that in pandering to his Canadian audience, Kincaid opened himself up to being ridiculed when his words came back to haunt him, as they just have.  But, I’m sure that Dr. Kincaid will explian it all away somehow.  After all, he’s one of would-be regressive overlords, and how dare we attempt to protect children from monsters such as those recently arrested!

Drug Addicts Sell Children to Create Child Pornography for Drug Money

Share

I guess Obama’s “stash” was all gone, because, what Stacy McCain accurately calls “Pure Evil,” is on display in Tennessee.  Apparently in need of drug money, a couple sold their children, ages 5-17, to a child pornographer.  The Other McCain has more…

Addicted to bath salts? Trailer trash start chasing a cheap high, and eventually their degradation leads to shameful perversity:

A Tennessee couple made their first appearance in court Friday to face allegations that they sold their daughters — ages 5, 12, 15 and 17 — to create child pornography.
Connie Sue McCall, 40, and her husband Ronnie Lee McCall, 61, were charged with the unspeakable crimes by a federal grand jury.
Investigators said paperwork shows they were selling their children to take part in sex films and that the young girls were forced to perform sexual acts in a number of different places. The parents were also strung out on bath salts at the time, according to WATE-TV.
“When the youngest child was taken in, several if not all of her teeth were rotted,” District Attorney Tony Clark said, according to WCYB-TV. “There was animal waste inside the home.”
Debbie Dunn with the Johnson City Police Department added that one of the girls had both head and body lice, flea bits, ring worm and rotten teeth.
“The amount of tooth decay, you can imagine, was extremely painful. She had black teeth, and holes in all the teeth, just really inexcusable,” Dunn said, according to WATE-TV.
After questioning the children, Johnson City Police  determined the kids had been sold to create child pornography.

This is the world in which we live.  I have no problem identifying this as “pure evil.”

Who are the Parents, and who are the Children?

Share

Note From Matt: I usually post this once a year, and I already had back in April, but I thought, given the #FreeKate stuff, that this post would assist in understanding the interactions on that hashtag.  I originally wrote this in 2009, but it has held up well, I think.

I’m certain that I’m not the only person that has noticed that the liberals tend to act like petulant children when they “don’t get their way.”  One has to look no further than the recent happenings in the Wisconsin State Legislature to see how far we have fallen.

So what’s going on?  Why has does the left descend into tantrums when reality intervenes and ruins their plans?   Why do they deny others the right to speak by shouting them down?  Why do so many adults abandon reason and self-control when life throws a wrench into their works?  What happened to the work ethic?   Why do so many people think, or DEMAND, that the taxpayer provide for them?  Why do they resort to violence when their demands are not met?  These are all questions we have asked.  I would like to offer an explanation.

For those of you that have children, or work with children, have you ever tried to talk to a tantruming child?  Have you ever talked to a teen that thinks they know everything, and facts and reason simply don’t enter into their thinking?  Have you ever tried to debate a liberal?  Are you seeing the connection?  That’s where we are, in my opinion.  We are dealing with people that haven’t grown up yet, or never will.  How else might you explain that liberal protests often end in vandalism, rioting, and abuse of others?  I mean, I’ve never seen Conservatives so angry as there are now, but they have rallies and clean up after themselves, often leaving the area cleaner than how they found it.  They do not engage in violence, or vandalism.  I can’t imagine that happening at a rent-a-mob protest, say, at the G20 or OWS.  What’s the difference?

When a child is told “no” they have a number of options on how to react; they might pitch a fit, they might cooperate and get over it, or they may sulk and become passive aggressive, among others.  If the child pitches a fit, and it succeeds in achieving their goal, they will continue using this response until life intervenes and makes that behavior ineffective or unprofitable for them.  Doesn’t their reactions to losing a vote, or demanding a result, look like temper tantrums?  Also, if organizations, governments, or individuals “cave in” when the liberals whine, threaten, and protest; you might suspect that they’ll do it again.  After all, it worked all those other times!

You can apply this to economics as well.  Think of the teen that badgers their parents for an extra twenty bucks to go to a movie, or the kid that expects that mommy or daddy should pay for their 20,000 text messages.  They haven’t earned anything-they have no concept of the value of the labor that earned that sum.  Doesn’t that sound like a microcosm of liberal fiscal policy?  Daddy’s “magic wallet” becomes the “magic treasury,” where money appears as if from nowhere and is in limitless supply.  “Who cares where it comes from, as long as I get mine!” The more I looked at it, the comparison become clear.

Let’s take a look at the media.  How many times were the Tea Party crowds referred to in an insulting manner?  I don’t mean using simple humor or an occasional joke either.  It was brutal and persistent.  Now, remember back to Junior High.  How did kids treat each other there?  Any similarities?   It wasn’t about making a joke that everyone could appreciate, it was meant to destroy the target.   Then, for Tea Parties round two, the media went back to ignoring or “shunning” the thousands that showed up to protest around the country.  To me, that was kind of like the tween version of …”Let’s ignore that group over there because we don’t like them.”

Social policy ends up being a similar scenario.  Liberals want to “normalize” all sorts of behaviors so they can do what they want.   They are ruled by their passions and wants, not by ideology.  Many times, I think they are little more than walking “Ids,” with no rudder or hindsight-even in the face of negative consequences and failure.  As long as they can do as they please, they are not deterred by negative consequences.  In fact, they demand that we fund or discover a means to negate those consequences.  Forget that the negative consequences could be avoided easily by not engaging in the behavior-that won’t do.  They want to have their cake, and gorge on it too, all at our expense.

And it doesn’t stop at being amoral.  When the liberals lose a vote, or discover that some people disagree with them, they don’t try to figure out what went wrong, or try to get their message out.  They threaten, intimidate, try to get people fired from their jobs, disrupt church services, and so on.  If a majority of the people disagrees with them, they ignore that fact and attack, just like the tantuming child.  In the end, and there are many more examples, much of the liberal social agenda is about removing restraints on behavior.  It isn’t because of freedom or rights, it’s about “this is what I want to do.”

I have a very hard time relating to liberals.  I now realize that there is a reason for that, and it’s not always ideological.  Conservatives are the parents that say “no,” and try to set reasonable limits.  Liberals are the children that throw tantrums when they don’t get what they want.  Having self-restraint is an alien concept to many of them, as a large number of them are ruled by their passions and emotions.  Reason and logic aren’t often apparent to them.  They also can’t delay their gratification, so they want the “fix” from the government.  Sometimes, it’s because they want “revenge” on the people that have self control, and as a consequence, are more successful they they are.  I’ve talked to many liberals that take a lot of pleasure from the fact that the Obama’s policies will “ruin” people.  Others have worked harder than they have, or have simply succeeded to a greater degree.  Instead of looking at this as an opportunity to learn, they seek to punish the more successful person to make themselves feel better.  At any rate, they want what they want, and they want it now, and we’re in the way.  Since so many of them are arrested in their own development, they act accordingly.

This is why we can’t understand them, and they can’t understand us.   To them, we are the other kids that “aren’t popular.”  So, they treat us as if we were other kids, using the same tactics that children use to get what they want.  They name call, bully, “spread rumors,” ostracize…any behavior that a middle school sees on a daily basis.  We attempt to approach them as adults, with facts and information.  This invariably fails.  We aren’t even on the same wavelength.  I would compare it to having conversation with a dozen feral cats…painful, and with no hope of a constructive solution.

In past decades, we could debate-we were peers.  They had other ideas, and they passionately and honestly presented them.  Now, they are not like us.  They lie, deceive, intimidate, threaten, and manipulate.  There can no longer be a debate about ideas, as the other side wants power, and their ideas shift to exploit the current crisis.  They’re for democracy, until they lose.  They’re for “civil discourse” until it is time to threaten or discredit an opponent.  They claim to represent the poor, but their policies keep the poor in poverty.  They claim to be for the little man, but they discard the little man when he gets in their way.  It is a complete lack of fundamental principals that separate us.  We have them; they do not.

I also believe that this is why liberals make such effective useful idiots.  They are promised all sorts of  benefits by their benefactors.  They are promised security, less work, the “freedom” (license) to do what their heart desires, less responsibility, all sorts of benefits, and other nonsense.  They then go out and act as the thugs and goons of the liberal movement.  Little do they know that they are pawns and will be caught up in the tyranny with the rest of us, but then again, most of them aren’t able to look that far into the future.

Perhaps this will help us understand liberals.  It won’t change their behavior, but it might help us deal with them.

Note: This is an update of an earlier post.  The original post can be viewed here.

Harry Reid on Cancer Trials for Children, ‘Why would we want to do that?’

Share

Since the Democrats have shut down the government, they are blocking all attempts to re-open it that doesn’t give them everything they want.  Even if it means that children don’t cancer treatment.  Steve, at America’s Watchtower, has more…

Harry Reid was pressed on this issue by Dana Bash and, as he is not used to being pressed on an issue by the mainstream media, in the heat of the moment he said something quite revealing.

  Here is what went down:

If you can help one child, why won’t you do it?’ asked CNN reporter Dana Bash.

‘Why, why, why would we want to do that?’ countered Reid.

‘I have 1100 people at Nellis Air Force Base that are sitting home,’ because of government employee furloughs, he told Bash and a roomful of other journalists. ‘They have – they have a few problems of their own.’

‘This is – to have someone of your intelligence suggest such a thing maybe means you’re as irresponsible and reckless.’

Here is the video…

Of course, the media and the Democrats are lying.  The GOP has offered, repeatedly to fund government, but the Democrats have blocked all of those attempts, and the media has gone right along with lying about it.  This will continue for as long as they are able.  And, given that there were enough low information  voters to re-elect Obama last year, they might just get away with it.

Online Bullying: TwitterGate Revisited

Share

In my ongoing look at online bullying, I would be remiss if I did not revisit what I think was one of the most egregious examples.  TwitterGate was reportedly an invention of Democratic activist/consultant Neal Rauhauser.  What they did, was an organized and concerted attack on Tea Party leaders and members.  In fact, I would say that it went beyond attack, to terror.  Here are some screencaps…

PPST attack bigot gwlPPST THREAT methadonnaTwitterGate9TwitterGate10TwitterGate11There was a video that chronicled more of this, all equally vile, if not worse.  Many times, people were offered the option of terminating their Twitter accounts in exchange for ending harassment.  Sadly, this video no longer exists.

In a similar vein, I received the following comment, responding to the post, Shutuppery and You, Why the Left Wants to Silence You, Plus #FreeKate Relevancy.

Shutuppery and You, Why the Left Wants to Silence You, Plus #FreeKate Relevancy - Conservative Hideout 2.0 - 2013-09-23_13.00.02 I cannot stress enough that these tactics are never acceptable.  There is never a reason to do this, especially if you can argue from the point of truth.  Political speech has always divided, and in this day and age, we are divided like never before.   And, with so many unethical people operating in the open, political speech exposes people to threats and terror.  However, the truth still wins in the end.  TwitterGate was meant to derail the Tea Party.  Instead, we won the House in the 2010 midterm, and ended the Democrats veto proof majority in the Senate.  Like countless other bloggers, I’ve been blogging about ObamaCare since it was proposed.  We have been called innumerable names.  Baseless accusations have been hurled, and we’ve been disparaged.  The result?  A significant majority of Americans, in spite of the MSM mostly refusing to cover it, now see that ObamaCare is the disaster that we said it would be since day one.  If you hold on-if you keep pressing-the truth still wins the day.

Why do you think that bullies resort to such tactics?  To prevent the truth from being discussed.

So, they will threaten to report you to the police for quoting them.  They will threaten someone’s career, or organize boycotts of their business.  They might threaten your children, or your own life.  They don’t want people to speak out.  They believe that free speech belongs to them, and them only.  Resist them, and resist the temptation to become like them.  If you sink to their level, you are no better than they are.

Your Guide to the Upcoming Syrian Humanitarian Conflict™ (AKA: The Rachel Nichols Imperative)

Share

Syria. We must bomb it for humanitarian reasons.

Syria. We must bomb it for humanitarian reasons.

With the war with Syria potentially days or even hours away we here at the worldwide headquarters of Manhattan Infidel have decided to publish this handy guide explaining the upcoming humanitarian conflict.™

  • Why are we going to war?

The Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, has been using chemical weapons against his people

  • I’ve heard about that.  Isn’t this similar to a decade ago when President Bush went to war with Iraq over weapons of mass destruction?

No.  The two cases could not be more different.  Bush is a Republican.  When Republicans go to war it is for conquest and/or oil.  President Obama is a Democrat and a Nobel peace prize winner.  When he bombs people it is for humanitarian reasons.

  • You mentioned bombing.  Even with smart bombs will there be collateral damage?

Regrettably yes.  Civilian casualties are part of war.  When you see news reports of this just remember we are at war to save the children.  And we will do it even if we have to kill every last one of them.

  • The last I heard England and France are having second thoughts about bombing Syria.

The English and the French are pussies!  Not like America.  Every red-blooded American loves the stench of battle.  Or at least what he sees from the video sent back from the drone strikes.

  • British Prime Minister David Cameron has said he will bring the question of a potential military attack against Syria before Parliament before making a decision.  Why?

England is a monarchy.  It’s leaders must consult the people.  America is a democracy and we believe in the rule of one man: Our President.

  • But America isn’t a democracy.  It is a constitutional republic and according to our constitution (Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11) only the congress can declare war.

You have to stop watching Fox News.

  • Why are we supporting the rebels?

Because it’s in the best interest of the United States to do so.

  • But aren’t the rebels supported by the Muslim Brotherhood?  And doesn’t the Muslim Brotherhood want to establish an Islamic regime that supports terrorism?

What did I tell you about watching Fox News?  Islam is the religion of peace.  Just ask Israel.

  • Is our intervention about regime change?

As with Libya, the decision to intervene in Syria is not about regime change.  Unless it is.  But it isn’t.

  • If England and France do in fact back out will the war be cancelled?

Cancelled?  Have you seen the ratings?  The run-up to the war has gotten better numbers than the Syfy channel’s Continuum starring the fetching Rachel Nichols.

Support the war for this woman.

Support the war for this woman.

  • Wow.  She is fetching.  But my support for the war is wavering.

Would you like to see more Rachel Nichols?

This woman supports our President!

This woman supports our President!

  • Please.  I’m only a man.  There is only so much I can resist.Men who support military action against Syria turn me on!Men who support military action against Syria turn me on!

So you’ll support the President?

  • You make a good case for this humanitarian conflict.™

It’s for the children.

Rumors of War: US and UK Gearing up for Attack on Syria?

Share

Are the Syrian Rebels Al Qaeda not killing children and Christians quickly enough?  Apparently not, as if the rumors are true, we are preparing, with the British, to attack Syria.  Weasel Zippers has more…

Via Telegraph:

Britain is planning to join forces with America and launch military action against Syria within days in response to the gas attack believed to have been carried out by President Bashar al-Assad’s forces against his own people.

Royal Navy vessels are being readied to take part in a possible series of cruise missile strikes, alongside the United States, as military commanders finalise a list of potential targets.

Government sources said talks between the Prime Minister and international leaders, including Barack Obama, would continue, but that any military action that was agreed could begin within the next week.

As the preparations gathered pace, William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, warned that the world could not stand by and allow the Assad regime to use chemical weapons against the Syrian people “with impunity”.

Britain, the US and their allies must show Mr Assad that to perpetrate such an atrocity “is to cross a line and that the world will respond when that line is crossed”, he said.

British forces now look likely to be drawn into an intervention in the Syrian crisis after months of deliberation and international disagreement over how to respond to the bloody two-year civil war.

Now, will there be anti-war protests if Obama enters another one?  I don’t know about that.  If there are, I’d expect them to be downplayed by the MSM.

And, of course, this President will side with Al Qaeda, who has been slaughtering children and Christians.  That seems to be rather consistent, given his support of abortion and attacks on Christians.

Heh, for once, I can say that the President isn’t being a hypocrite.  He really is being consistent.

As for the prospects of yet another war, I strongly disagree.  This is no time to waste time, treasure, and more importantly, the blood of good men and women, on someone else’s civil war.  And, it becomes even worse when the side that out government chooses is the worst of the two.  Oh, and should I mention that the side our President seems to be supporting are the radical Islamists.  Nothing to see there, right?

Romney Donor, Frank VanderSloot, and his Children, Harassed by Obama Supporters, IRS and Labor Department

Share

I guess it’s not a great idea to donate large amounts of money to a political opponent of the President.  Frank VanderSloot earned a place on the Obama campaign’s, “enemy list,” after donating $1,000,000 to Mitt Romney’s campaign.  What happened after that was the pure, left wing thuggery that we have come to expect from the POTUS and his goons.  Gateway Pundit has more…

Romney donor Frank VanderSloot was one of the eight Republicans placed on Barack Obama’s enemies list in 2012. The Idaho businessman was singled out by the Obama campaign for giving $1 million in support of Mitt Romney. Because of this he was the focus of audits from both the IRS and Labor Department. He said that he went through “living hell” as a result.

And it just so happened that the IRS and the Labor department got involved too, right?

Sadly, this is the pattern of abuse that is common to the left.  In the land of “tolerance and diversity,” there can be no departure from the regressive line, and any attempt to do so will not be tolerated.

Children Sent Out to Protest: Did not Know Why, Were Given Protest Signs by School

Share

You gotta love how liberals use children.  If it’s not for human shields at occupy protests, its for backdrop at a political event, liberals love to use children to pull at the heart strings.    The latest example occurred last week, when children were sent out to send a message to Marco Rubio.  There was a problem with that, however.  The kids did not know who Rubio was, why they were out protesting, and according to a parent, were given the signs by their school.  MRC TV has more…

At a Capitol Hill “Rally for Citizenship,” MRCTV’s Dan Joseph talked to protesters holding signs with messages to Marco Rubio who didn’t even know who Rubio is, couldn’t speak English, and said their kids’ school made and provided the protest signs.

They just love to use the kids. But just don’t call it indoctrination. It upsets the liberals!

German Authoprities Use SWAT Team to Remove Homeschooled Girl From Parents

Share

There are apparently times that the Germans forget exactly who won the war.  When it comes to homeschooled children, they apparently think that the little man with the silly moustache is still in power, and run off to seize the children for the glory of the state.  The Libertarian Republic has more…

The state describes the reasons they took the child as because she is overly devoted to her father. It states that she is “A highly disturbed girl who obediently and faithfully obeys the idealistic statements of the father and who describes the state as being despotic and fascist-like.” The girl was placed in a mental hospital alongside other teenagers who were suicidal.

They also link to a CBN video regarding the event…

I wonder how many regressives in this country, are standing and applauding the use of SWAT teams to take homeschooled children away from their parents?

MSNBC Talking Head Melissa Harris-Perry: All Your Children are Belong to Us

Share

I think it’s getting even more amazing for the regressives in that they are slipping more and more.  And, in that slippage, they’re letting out more and more of their ideas, and they don’t even get that it’s the most totalitarian drivel.  I guess if you live in the unreality bubble, it’s a matter of time before you slip and think that tyranny is the normal state of man.

In the latest example of regressive truth slippage, we have Melissa Harris-Perry, who happens to think that all of your children are belong to us.  MRC has the video…

Now, this whole concept of children belonging to the “community,” read, the state, is not new at all. Here are some historical references…

When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.”
Adolf Hitler
Speech November 1933, quoted in The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer

Kinda reminds you of public education, doesn’t it?

“The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”

— Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf

Harris-Perry must have been doing her homework!

Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.
Vladimir Lenin

That would be the goal, wouldn’t it?

Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted. Vladimir Lenin

Just to make sure that no one missed it.

Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.
Joseph Stalin

Hey, why depend on dead dictators to show the origins of Harris Perry’s thinking?

Remember how the Clinton administration viewed children and “human capital.”  These principals are at work in our country as we speak! -Editor

Shortt also cites Robert Owen, one of the Anglo-American world’s first influential socialists, who developed a similar philosophy of education. Owen believed that children should be separated from their parents as early as possible and raised by the state. He believed people were exclusively the products of their social environments, and that if nurtured properly by the state, could be molded into whatever was desired. A key to the thinking that went into forming the official ideology of state-sponsored education was that human beings are innately good, not sinful, and that human nature could be perfected by the right kind of educational system. The ideology that eventually developed would hold that children could be molded into willing consumers of the products of big business and obedient servants of government. In short, the aims of state-sponsored schools were to transform thinking, highly individualistic and very literate citizens into an unthinking, collectivized mass. The slow but steady decline in literacy of all kinds was a by-product.

Yes, the children belong to the community!

“Every child in America entering school at the age of five is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our Founding Fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It’s up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well – by creating the international child of the future.”

–Professor Chester M. Pierce, M.D., Professor of Education and Psychiatry at Harvard

Getting a better idea now?

“Among the elementary measures the American Soviet government will adopt to further the cultural revolution are…[a] National Department of Education…the studies will be revolutionized, being cleansed of religious, patriotic, and other features of the bourgeois ideology. The students will be taught the basis of Marxian dialectical materialism, internationalism and the general ethics of the new Socialist society.”

–William Z. Foster, Toward Soviet America, 1932 National Chairman of the American Communist Party (1933-44, 1945-57)

OK, I know, that’s overkill.  But what Harris-Perry is talking about.  Totalitarian systems always take children, claiming that they are belong to the state.  They take them in the name of nurturing and protecting them, but in the end, what they are doing is enslaving them to a failed ideology.  And, they also get the added benefits of the students coming out uneducated, unthinking, unquestioning, and following the regressive ideology to the nth degree.  After all, there is free stuff to be had.

Who are the Parents, and who are the Children?

Share

Global Warming Now to be Part of US School Curriculum

Share

And with belief in Global Warming the Big Lie,. at an all time low, now the government makes it part of the curriculum.  The Lonely Conservative has more…

The climate alarmists are going to have a new captive audience – America’s school children.

New national science standards that make the teaching of global warming part of the public school curriculum are slated to be released this month, potentially ending an era in which climate skepticism has been allowed to seep into the nation’s classrooms.

The Next Generation Science Standards were developed by the National Research Council, the National Science Teachers Association, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the nonprofit Achieve and more than two dozen states. The latest draft recommends that educators teach the evidence for man-made climate change starting as early as elementary school and incorporate it into all science classes, ranging from earth science to chemistry. By eighth grade, students should understand that “human activities, such as the release of greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels, are major factors in the current rise in Earth’s mean surface temperature (global warming),” the standards say. (Read More)

Do you think they will be telling the kids about how climate change studies are routinely debunked and disproved? I doubt it.

The narrative must be maintained.  The key to any big lie is repetition, particularly repetition from trusted sources.  Using it against children is particularly effective.
