Ted Cruz

Hat/Tip to Doug Ross @ Journal.

It has been posited that Liberalism, that is today’s definition of the Liberal-Secular-Progressive is a mental disorder. That may be true and, in that same vein we have Senator Ted Cruz from Texas positing that within that movement, the Liberal-Secular-Progressive movement, or in other words, the Democratic Party that there is no room in that Party for Christians.

The title of Jonah Goldberg’s recent bestseller — Liberal Fascism — has become part of the modern political parlance.

Sen. Ted Cruz argued Saturday that Democrats have become so extreme and “intolerant” of religious views that “there is no room for Christians in today’s Democratic Party.”

“There is a liberal fascism that is dedicated to going after believing Christians who follow the biblical teaching on marriage,” the Texas Republican said in his speech before a Christian conservative audience in Waukee, Iowa…. For his part, Cruz alluded to business that faced pushback for declining to cater to same-sex weddings.

…As the Supreme Court gets ready to hear oral arguments on whether to overturn same-sex marriage bans in states, Cruz introduced legislation last week that would protect bans in place … “We need leaders who will stand unapologetically in defense of marriage,” he said.

The religion of today’s progressives is government. Big government. Unlimited government.

There is no room for people of faith in today’s Democrat Party.

Unfortunately, Senator Cruz is correct. There is no room anymore in the Democratic Party for Bible-reading, Jesus-believing Christians.

Why?

Because the modern Democratic Party is NO LONGER the same party that your parents and grandparents belonged to. It has been bastardized into a near Marxist, top-down, centralized government party that seeks to control every aspect of your lives.

obama flying the bird

Hat/Tip to Andrea Billups at Newsmax.

Our Divider-in-Chief is at it again. Once more, he is taking a swipe at Christians via the Religious Freedom law recently passed in Indiana.

President Barack Obama veered in and quickly out of a national debate over religious freedom legislation, calling out Christians as “less than loving” at an annual Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday in Washington, Mediaite reported.

“On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I am supposed to love,” Obama told the group, gathered at the Washington Hilton hotel, turning from his scripted speech.

“And I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned,” he said as the murmur in the crowd turned audible, Mediate said.

“But that’s a topic for another day… I was about to veer off. I’m pulling it back,” the president quickly added.

He then pivoted to his prepared remarks, which carried the flavor of civil rights speeches of the past.

“Where there is injustice we defend the oppressed,” Obama said. “Where there is disagreement, we treat each other with compassion and respect. Where there are differences, we find strength in our common humanity, knowing that we are all children of God.”

But what about the Christians being slaughter all over the Middle East, Mr. President? On in your own “home country” of Kenya?

According to CNN, 147 died and dozens were injured at the hands of Islamist gunmen on April 2.

Bobby Jindal Suggests Christians Being Discriminated Against

Share

We are reaching a point in this country where we are seeing more and more dominoes fall.  One freedom after another-one law protecting the Constitution after another, are all falling at the feet of the nanny state.  One of the latest to fall under attack is religious liberty.  Bobby Jindal had some commentary on one of the talking head Sunday shows.  Here is more…

Of course, regressives will rejoice at the attacks against Christians as part of their campaign to eliminate all references to the Judeo-Christian God.  What they will not rejoice in is the coming time when the government that they helped empower turns their attention to them.    Useful idiots, once they cease being useful, are unceremoniously discarded.  Of course, we won’t be around then to help them.

Chick-Fil-A Acts Like Christians, Liberals Silent

Share

Once again, the despicable and evil Christian owners of Chick-Fil-A have committed more acts on intolerant evil.  After failed boycotts, and hate filled rhetoric from tolerant regressives, Chick-Fil-A marches on.  Here is their latest act of intolerance and evil…

Chick-fil-A, the restaurant chain that liberals have attacked so viciously and labeled as evil, has once again come to the aid of members of their community in a show of support for the family of a fallen sheriff’s deputy killed in action.

Utah County Sgt. Cory Wrie was shot and killed by a 17-year-old female suspect last year during a traffic stop, an event that left his family and friends shaken, including his wife and 12-year-old daughter, Macklin.

Wride’s family wants nothing more than to travel to this year’s National Police Week Memorial taking place in Washington, D.C., and thanks to Chick-fil-A teaming up with a national organization known as Concerns Of Police Survivors, that’s going to become a reality.

The organization, COPS, helps families of police officers killed in action emotionally, mentally and financially. They differ from similar organizations in that they assist the entire family of a fallen officer as opposed to just the widow and children.

Those evil Christians are acting like Christians again!

ISIS Takes Hundreds Of Christians Hostage After Overrunning Their Village In Syria…

ISIS fighters in iraq

Hat/Tip to WeaselZippers.

Weasel Zippers said it simply, and said it best:

Pray for their safety.

Members of the Islamic State (ISIS) stormed the Tell Tamer area in Syria on Monday morning, taking villagers hostage. The women and children were separated from the men, who were taken to the Abd al-Aziz mountains. The women remain in the village guarded by ISIS militants. It is unclear how many hostages the Islamic State took, but estimates are in the several hundreds.

After the separation, one of the hostages contacted a relative in Canada who then got in touch with A Demand For Action (ADFA), an organization that fosters protection for Assyrians, Chaldeans and Syriacs. The ADFA publicized the attack and hostage situation. Nuri Kino, the founder of ADFA, has been in touch with numerous relatives of those held hostage since the attack. “Many of them have relatives in Sweden and Germany,” Kino told Newsweek in a phone interview.

Kino and his organization attempted to reach villagers by phone, only to have a member of ISIS pick up. “[ISIS] told us that we should not call any longer since we cannot do anything about their situation,” ADFA said in a statement.

The terrorist organization demanded a prisoner exchange with Kurdish fighters; they are seeking the release of ISIS members in exchange for the villagers. The exact number of prisoners ISIS is looking to swap for is not known. They have threatened the lives of the village men, estimated to be more than 100, if the swap does not go through.

It is unclear how many ISIS fighters took part in the attack on the village. Kino said witnesses described the force as “massive” and the atmosphere as “a panic.” The villagers are predominantly Christian and jihadist tracking social media accounts indicate the terrorist group burned down a church during the attack. Last week, ISIS fighters in Libya targeted Christians, executing 21 Egyptian Coptics.

Dirty Jobs Host Mike Rowe Destroys Liberal Hothead’s Argument: “It Is Impossible To Be A Christian, And Vote Republican!”

Share

 photo Dirty-Jobs-with-Mike-Rowe-dirty-jobs-10607125-640-426_zps437fc707.jpg

Hat/Tip to Onan Coca at Eagle Rising and Michael Cantrell at Young Cons.

Most Americans, at least most Americans who watch TV know Mike Rowe from his hit television series, Dirty Jobs. And what’s not to like? He’s a very likable guy, who isn’t above poking fun at himself, he honors hard working Americans across the country and has even launched a non-profit foundation to help out of work Americans find jobs – dirty or not.

From his foundation’s website:

The mikeroweWORKS Foundation announced its partnership with Scholarship America to establish the mikeroweWORKS Foundation Education Scholarship Program.  The 2013 fund has been set at $250,000.  The program is set up to award individual scholarships to applicants who want to pursue a career in the skilled trades. All successful applicants meeting the eligibility requirements may be awarded up to $2,500.

Scholarship America, the nation’s largest non-profit, private-sector scholarship and educational support organization, has distributed more than $2.7 billion to 1.8 million students across the country through various programs.

But recently, Mike made a splash for a bit of a different reason. It seems that some unknown (possibly until now) Liberal had been using Mike’s Facebook page to try and sell his books. Mike had not read the books, much less endorsed the author, but none-the-less this person felt empowered to use Mike’s notoriety to hawk his wares.

Now if that were all to the story, you nor I would even be aware of it, but of course, it’s not. This Liberal not only tried to use Mike’s Facebook page, he also insulted Christians, Republicans, and even Mike Rowe, himself.

Here is what transpired, in its entirety:

~ First, the rantings of the Liberal Hothead ~

Jim Green: It is ALARMING when we do the demographic post mortem on this election, because it is probable that it was decided by our RACISTS–voting against President Obama, who wasn’t on the ballot—that gave the Republicans their election wins—OUR GREED AND IGNORANCE, Amazon.com

Jim Green:
Why is the media avoiding that we have a U.S. Senate bought and paid for by the Koch Bros/1%–and what they want for their dollar is to cut THEIR taxes [for pure GREED], and cut regulations to increase the bottom line [for pure GREED]….in short “OUR GREED AND IGNORANCE” [Amazon] ruled the day

Jim Green:
Why on Earth would ANYONE vote Republican? A reptile has more decency than the Republicans in Congress! Only an odious toad would pass Ryan’s budget or gut Food Stamps—and these depraved snakes made them THEIR HIGHEST PRIORITY! If only one child in America goes hungry because of the Republican’s War on Children it explains why—IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE A CHRISTIAN, AND VOTE REPUBLICAN, Amazon/Kindle

Jim Green:
A CHALLENGE….will you PLEASE explain to the American people why you vote/are a Republican—because for the life of me I cannot understand WHY WOULD ANYONE VOTE REPUBLICAN! (NO trashing the Prez as a reason—it may make our RACISTS happy—but it is an idiotic explanation/justification.) See: “IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE A CHRISTIAN, AND VOTE REPUBLICAN,” on Amazon/Kindle

~ Next, Mike’s Epic Response ~

Hi there, Jim

mikeroweGreetings, from somewhere over Colorado. It appears you’re still trying to sell some books on my Facebook page. Personally, I haven’t read them, and based on your marketing strategy, I suspect I’m probably not alone. Since part of your approach seems to involve me, I thought perhaps I might offer you some unsolicited marketing advice. I hope it’s not too presumptuous, but these tips have served me well over the years, and I can’t help but think you and your marketing team might benefit from their immediate implementation.

1. Consider starting off each blurb with a friendly salutation. In my experience, a little cordiality goes a long way, especially when you’re trying to persuade someone to give you money.

2. Think about addressing your audience as something other than “racists,” “reptiles,” and “toads.” I get that you want to be provocative, but if your goal is to sell your book, a number of well-known studies have proven it’s best not to insult your potential customers.

3. Reconsider your commitment to caps and exclamation points. These are excellent choices when warning people about a fire, a volcanic eruption, an ebola outbreak, or a looming tsunami. But I’m afraid their use in the context of a book sale implies a level of urgency that may exist only in your mind. If you really want to persuade thoughtful people that Christians can’t vote for Republicans and remain Christian, you’ll need to appear credible – not hysterical. Lower case should work just fine.

4. Consider limiting each blurb to a single entry. When you post the identical screed four times in a row, it looks very much like a broken record sounds. This will lead people to conclude that you’re either a) inept at posting, or b) deliberately obnoxious. Neither conclusion is likely to lead to a sale. Remember, most people see posts like yours as small piles of vomit that they can quickly step around. But when the same vomitus post appears multiple times, you force my friends here to slosh through a virtual lake of spew. Ironically, this will not only make more people like you even less, it will decrease the odds that someone who might actually share your world view will feel inclined to purchase your book. (I’ve deleted all of your redundant posts from this morning, but left the original. You’re welcome.)

5. Regarding your overall claim, I’m not an authority on Republicans or Christians, but last I checked, America is still populated by plenty of both. Unless you wish to alienate a majority of the country, you might consider something a tad more conciliatory. Something like – “There is no “R” in Jesus – But There’s G-O-P in Gospel!”

Finally, with respect to your “challenge,” I’m not a registered Republican, but from time to time, I have voted like one. If you really want to know why, ask me in a fashion that incorporates the aforementioned steps, and I’ll try to explain it to you.

In the meantime, GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike

PS. As you can see, the captain has given me some plastic wings. So clearly, I know what I’m talking about.Captain Mike Rowe

John Bennett Under Attack For Telling The Truth About Islam

Share

John BennettIf there is one thing that we can always count on, it is that the followers of Islam, the religion of peace, or so we are told, will always take offense when confronted with the truth of what their religion really is. So it is with the case of Oklahoma State Representative John Bennett. He is not one to mince words and dance around the truth, even if it does get Muslims in America in an uproar. What did he say that has them so completely upset with him? He simply stated the truth, but that is something they can not abide.

John Bennett – Islam and Muslim are one in the same. They are adjectives describing their religion. Islam is the religion, Muslim is the person that follows Islam. If someone claims to be Muslim they subscribe to Islam (Quran). The Quran clearly states that non-Muslims should be killed. Arab is the ethnicity, not Muslim or Islam. Be wary of the individuals who claim to be “Muslim American”. Be especially wary if you’re a Christian.

Not a single word in his statement is untrue. Radical Islam is consistently showing itself to be hostile to any other religion, especially Christianity. Radical Islam is on the rise and in spite of what so many try to tell us, it seems to be the norm, not the exception. This may not sit well with a lot of people, but Islam is killing Christians in Iraq, Syria, and other parts of the world, not the other way around. Every hot spot I can think of in the world today is centered around Islam and the conflicts it is having with the rest of the world and itself. All one has to do to see this is to pay attention. It is a very dangerous world we live in and most of it is due to Islamic extremism.

That truth is something that so many Muslims simply can not handle. They refuse to acknowledge their part in the war and strife that is going on around the world. They always want to blame someone else. Especially if they are a Christian or a Jew. They seem to have a special affinity for casting the blame in those two directions. So it is no surprise that they are expressing shock and disbelief at what John Bennett had the audacity to say on his Facebook page.

News OK – The Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is criticizing state Rep. John Bennett for a Facebook post saying people should be wary of those who say they are “Muslim American.”

In a news release Wednesday, the Muslim advocacy council’s state chapter said Bennett’s statement about the Quran is false and called on Republican Party leaders to repudiate his remarks.

“Anti-Muslim bigotry and statements that promote misunderstanding and incite hatred toward a minority group have no place in the Oklahoma Republican Party. Individuals elected to represent the people of Oklahoma should be held accountable for such extremist, inaccurate and intolerant views,” Adam Soltani, the group’s executive director, said in a letter to Bennett.

“We are requesting that you denounce these anti-Muslim comments and issue an apology for said derogatory statements.”

They are asking John Bennett to apologize for what they claim are untrue statements about their religion of peace. In demanding that apology, they are asking him to denounce what he said and admit that it is nothing but lies. If he were to do that, it would be in the face of the truth. Again, all you have to do to see how much truth Bennett’s statement holdls is to look at what is happening in the world. It’s right in front of our faces, yet so many people, many of whom should know better, refuse to acknowledge or accept the truth about Islam.

As for John Bennett issuing an apology, that’s not likely to happen. The loudmouthed spokesmen from Islam don’t know him like those of us who live in this area do. He continues to stand by his words and I continue to stand by John Bennett.

Christian Divorce Rate Far Lower Than Previously Thought

Share

Critics of Christian morality have more facts to ignore as of late.  For years now, it has been said that the divorce rate among Christians was, for all practical purposes, identical to the general population.  However, a recently revealed study of eight years shows that the divorce rate for Christians is far less that previously thought.  CBN has more…

ATLANTA — It’s long been believed that half of America’s marriages end in divorce and the problem is just as bad in the Church as the rest of the country.

But when Harvard-trained researcher Shaunti Feldhahn tried to find the actual research to prove those points, she couldn’t. It started her on an eight-year odyssey to find the actual facts.

The Good News

In her book, The Good News About Marriage, Feldhahn lays out what she found during her eight years of investigating the complicated, complex divorce statistics.

First, the divorce rate is way below 50 percent and much lower for those who attend church.

Feldhahn estimates the overall divorce rate for the country is around 31 percent. The studies of people who regularly go to church all show a much lower divorce rate for them.

“Maybe 15 percent, maybe 20 percent for all marriages. First marriages, second marriages, third marriages,” Feldhahn explained.

Of course, scoffers will still scoff, even if they keep on quoting incorrect numbers,  But, for Christians, we can take heart in that doing it right is still right, and it still works.

God Movies Make Money

Share

religion

Hat/Tip to CNSNews.com for this one, and I must say, Brent Bozell has it right once again.

The accountants in Hollywood don’t have to believe in heaven to notice the box office numbers on recent movies with religious themes.

“Heaven Is for Real” opened in the days before Easter and grossed more than $22 million, coming in second for the weekend, just $3 million behind the latest “Captain America” blockbuster (in its third week). The movie’s per-screen average — $8,895 — was far above the rest of the top five.

“Heaven Is for Real,” like many movies, is based on a best-selling book. It’s a real-life story about 4-year-old Colton Burpo and his visions of heaven after an emergency surgery in 2003. Within three weeks of its November 2010 release, the book debuted at No. 3 on the New York Times best-seller list. Eventually, it made its way to No. 1.

It would seem that Hollywood is slowly waking up to the idea that there are more of us than there are of them and guess what? WE SPEND MONEY!

Box Office Mojo reported, “Sony targeted their marketing towards Christian audiences, and placed an emphasis on calling ahead for group ticket sales.” Stop the presses. Breaking news. There is a Christian audience, and it has wallets that open.

But don’t worry, the good old film critics will do their best to ignore us, by trashing the movies that are targeted to Christians.

It happened in mid-March, when “God’s Not Dead” opened at No. 4 with a $9 million gross, and then surprised the ticket-watchers by persistently drawing an audience, as it now approaches $50 million at the box office. This comes despite film critics trashing it, and one insisting, “Even by the rather lax standards of the Christian film industry, ‘God’s Not Dead’ is a disaster.”

This was not a studio movie, but a production of the Arizona-based Christian company Pure Flix. At the center of the plot is a debate between a college philosophy professor and a freshman student over the existence of God. No, it’s not your usual popcorn fare, but there is an audience that surely enjoys the rare occasion of a script strongly striking back at Richard Dawkins and Charles Darwin, offering rebuttal to the usual atheist arrogance of most pop culture products.

And for your LOL of the day – product placement, those (sometimes not so) subtle commercials in movies, happens in Christian themed films as well.

Interestingly, there is also this: In the corners of the plot are several Christian product placements — appearances testifying to Jesus by “Duck Dynasty” stars Willie and Korie Robertson, and the Christian-rock band, the Newsboys. Jesus sells.

One can easily see how the word of mouth spreads on a movie like this, when all the people attending the Newsboys’ concert at the movie’s end are asked to text message “God’s not dead” to their friends and acquaintances.

But how successful are these movies?

“Son of God” was produced by adding some new footage and re-editing the Jesus sections of Mark Burnett’s History Channel miniseries “The Bible.” It was released in mid-February and also showed surprising strength, grossing $25 million in its first weekend and a total of $60 million so far. And why not? “The Bible” has become the top-selling miniseries on DVD of all time.

And just touting the Bible as your “inspiration” doesn’t guarantee success. To see this, one only has to turn to the bomb that is “Noah,” by Darren Aronofsky, starring Russell Crowe.

…there’s a reason it disappointed. Despite the movie’s putative inspiration in the Bible, “Noah” isn’t a religious movie. The leftist critics were kind, but critics at the conservative Intercollegiate Review panned it as “The Rocky Horror Bible Show,” comparing its Noah to a man-hating, eco-maniacal unabomber, and its story as Genesis “rewritten by Cher.” It should tell us something that another big-money Russell Crowe movie, “Gladiator,” had a nobler view of God and man.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil …

Share

When reading the various news articles I can’t help but notice how bizarre everything has become. Bizarre probably isn’t a completely accurate descriptive word … it’s more like perverse. Yet “perverse” is quite acceptable and embraced by many, those of the more liberal persuasion honor that perverse trend in American society. Those of a more conservative persuasion are now looked upon as the enemy of progressive ideas. I noticed an article yesterday which was highlighting how Christians are not victims even though their values are and have been attacked relentlessly by those embracing perversion. I read in the piece that people are seeing that marriage equality strengthens the institution of marriage.”

Same sex marriage “strengthens the institution of marriage” … What a bizarre take on what the institution of marriage is supposed to be about.  Regardless of what the writer of that article thinks or says marriage in the true sense of the word, is between men and women … not man to man or woman to woman.

Yet we are inundated with perverseness which not only is acceptable to society but when those who don’t embrace perversion voice objection they are subject to ridicule.  Now it’s not just the idea of not accepting a perverse life-style, it’s the idea of being forced into enabling and supporting it is where the objection should be heard. If gay folks want to marry, go ahead but it simply isn’t right to force someone to partake in the wedding of two guys. a mental visual of their “wedding night” or “honey moon” is nothing short of abominable and would get this blogger wretching.

The writer of the piece mentioned  the changing understanding about homosexuality. This is interesting. The only thing changing is the tolerance for perversion conservatives and Christians have been forced to accept either through threats of fines and penalties by judges.

The thing the writer seems to point out is that Christians and conservatives are finding out that being a minority isn’t comfortable, but it isn’t suffering as victims either. And then he offers some comparisons … homos are in danger of being fired or assaulted just for being gay … Christians are forced by a judge to cater to same-sex married couples either through photography or making a wedding cake.

Being  a victim doesn’t always have to be physically damaging. Forcing people to go against the conscious is equally disturbing and damaging. When homos demand that Christians provide a service to something they view as disgusting and vile, isn’t that demand victimizing? Regardless of the methodology in bullying someone it all boils down to persecuting those who are weaker.

Another interesting statement from the article is,  The sky has not fallen, nor have church roofs caved in, just because gay marriage is legal in 17 states, plus the District of Columbia. Life goes on pretty much as normal …

There are a very many people who firmly believe that just because something hasn’t happened yet because of perversion or immoral behavior nothing will. That attitude or train of thought is a very dangerous one. I believe there is a saying that goes something like this:  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

To sum up the idea that perverse and disgusting behavior is being accepted in society now and that even a majority of people are tolerant of that behavior I wouldn’t get too comfortable, as I recall some very strong wording …  Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

Great Moments in Civil Discourse: Crazy Feminist Wants to Castrate Christians

Share

In our latest foray into the world of feminist insanity, we find Laura Levites, who is very open on expressing her tolerance for people that have the nerve to disagree with her.  The Other McCain has more…

The problem with trying to keep up with feminist insanity is, while you’re distracted by one deranged nutjob — say, Amanda Marcotte, or that fat chick with paranoid rape fears — another one is likely to go off her meds and completely melt down while you’re not looking.

Can’t you feel the tolerance for diversity, not to mention the civil discourse, just oozing from these completely tolerant and absolutely not hateful comments?  Feminists are only concerned with equality, until you see what they actually say.

Just remember kids, WE’RE the hateful ones!

Michigan Teacher’s Union Contract Specifically Excludes Christians

Share

“Christians need not apply,” might as well read the signs at one Michigan school.  The union’s contract with that district specifically excludes Christians from the hiring process.  Here is more on the teacher’s union hatred for Christianity…

One of the latest outrageous reports emanating from this bastion of leftism, however, indicates just how dedicated unions are to the cause of whitewashing America’s founding principles and values.

One Michigan school district’s teachers union boasts a contract that unequivocally states that “[s]pecial consideration shall be given to … those of the non-Christian faith” in filling open positions within the school system. It appears that this inclusion not only violates a previous passage in the contract but also a state law that prohibits religious discrimination in employment decisions.

The contact, which governs teachers in the community until 2017, guarantees similar advantages for minorities and women. Though millions of Americans consider such considerations antithetical to the selection of the best candidate, regardless of race or gender, the emphasis on hiring non-Christians is especially distasteful.

Ann Arbor’s Thomas Law Center President Richard Thompson expressed his concern regarding the contract’s language.

“Why would they be discriminating against Christians?” he asked. “They are not supposed to be discriminating against people for their religious beliefs. It’s outrageous – and I believe it’s unconstitutional.”

He concluded that the document could clearly result in a religious litmus test for current and future teachers in the district.

“Are people going to hide their faith so they can get a promotion?” he wondered. “There is a subtle persecution of Christians.”

Again, the left wants all sorts of protections against discrimination, but allow themselves to violate those same requirements.  Remember when the AARP was sued for age discrimination?  Remember when ACORN was a “champion” of the “living wage,” and refused to pay their workers minimum wage?  Or how about unions paying homeless and other disadvantaged folks slave wages to carry protest signs?  You see kids, rules are for you to follow.  Your leftist overlords, on the other hand, are immune from those rules.  And as soon as you get used to that fact, the more comfortable you will be with your enslavement.

NORKS to Execute 33 Christians: Leftists Rejoice

Share

I imagine that there are at least a few US leftists laughing up a storm over the fact that the NORKS are executing 33 Christians for being Christians…

Brutal North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has ordered the execution of 33 Korean Christians for setting up 500 underground churches with South Korean Baptist missionary Kim Jung-wook.

The Daily Mail reports that Kim Jong-un has ordered the execution over the suspicion that this small group of Christians were “attempting to overthrow” his regime, thereby undermining North Korea’s doctrine of “juche” — where decisions for the country are made en masse and to “prevent the influx of capitalist practices and beliefs.”

The Baptist missionary, Kim Jung-wook, was jailed in 2013 for the same crime, underground churches, and appeared at a press conference recently where he “apologized for committing ‘anti-state’ crimes.” He said he had entered North Korea from China with Bibles and other Christian media with intent to distribute them in Pyongyang. During the press conference Jung-wook “confessed” his crime:

I was thinking of turning North Korea into a religious country, and destroying its present government and political system.

The 33 North Koreans are said to have confessed that they received money from Jung-wook and that he wanted them to build a church in Pyongyang on the site where a statue of North Korea’s founder, Kim Il-Sung, stands after the regime falls, according to The Chosun Ilbo.

In a sense these Christians are guilty of upsetting their NORK’s current political system.  In any communist state, the state itself takes the place of God.  In fact, the state becomes more pervasive than God, dictating and providing for every aspect of the life of every citizen.  In any nation where social justice and equality reigns, the God (Jehovah) is a fearsome enemy, as He displaces the state as the deity.  The god of the state is rather jealous, and since that god cannot defeat, the actual God, the little “g” god goes after the followers of the real one.

A Tale of Two Stories: Terrorists Allowed to Enter US, Christian Home Schoolers to be Deported

Share

The more time wears on, the more we see what that the Obama administration thinks of Christians.  From the funding and arming of his Syrian Rebels Al Qaeda, who regularly slaughter Christians, to allowing Muslims to avoid ObamaCare, while Christians are forced to fund the killing of babies, you might just get the notion that there is some bias there.  Our post tonight will show that some more.  For the latest “Tale of Two Stories,” let’s look at who the Obama administration is letting into the building, and who he’s deporting…

Terrorists allowed in…

Via Investor’s Business Daily: Obama’s new asylum decree favors Muslims over Christians

As President Obama offers asylum to “minor” terrorists providing “limited” material support to terrorism, he’s slamming shut the door on thousands of Christians fleeing terrorism in Muslim lands like Egypt.

In another end-run around Congress, President Obama has unilaterally eased immigration requirements for foreigners linked to terrorism.

He ordered the State Department and Homeland Security to ignore a post-9/11 law barring entry to those giving political or charitable aid to Hamas and other known terrorist groups….

Treasonous as it sounds, the president is following through on a little-noticed overture he made to Muslims in his Cairo speech of 2009, when he suggested he’d relax enforcement of material support laws involving “zakat,” or Islamic charitable giving.

He basically apologized for the Bush administration’s locking up the founders of the largest Muslim charity in America for sending millions to “zakat committees” linked to Hamas….

At the same time Obama opens the floodgates to them, he’s closing our borders to Christians fleeing persecution by Muslims in Egypt, Iraq and other Mideast countries.

Displaced Palestinians have plenty of places they can resettle in the Mideast.

The options for Christians, on the other hand, are limited. The U.S. may be their best chance for refuge from violence and for religious freedom.

Yet the State Department has rejected virtually all of the 20,000 asylum applications from Coptic Christians trying to escape Egypt since the toppling of its pro-American regime….

So, minor terrorists are allowed in, and Christians, who are being SLAUGHTERED, are not.

Then, we have to revisit the sad tale of Uwe and Hannelore Romeike, who fled Germany to claim asylum here in the US.  They fled the Nazi era law that makes public education indoctrination mandatory.  the Romeikes are Christians, and seek to home-school their children.  Under the Nazi era German law, their children could be removed from their home in order to ensure that they are educated indoctrinated.  I have covered that story before…

Supreme Court Orders Obama Admin to Respond to Christian Homeschooling Family’s Appeal

Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Rules That Christian Home Schooling Family Should be Deported

Obama Administration Attempting to Deport German Home School Christian Family

Now, it appears that the family has lost, and will be deported…

Honestly, this is an outrage. America stands for freedom but clearly the Obama administration does not, at least when it comes to Christians who want to homeschool their children. And now the Romeike family will be deported back to Germany where there is no freedom to homeschool. Ugh.

FOX NEWS – Uwe and Hannelore Romeike came to the United States in 2008 seeking political asylum. They fled their German homeland in the face of religious persecution for homeschooling their children.

They wanted to live in a country where they could raise their children in accordance with their Christian beliefs.

The Romeikes were initially given asylum, but the Obama administration objected – claiming that German laws that outlaw homeschooling do not constitute persecution.

“The goal in Germany is for an open, pluralistic society,” the Justice Department wrote in a legal brief last year. “Teaching tolerance to children of all backgrounds helps to develop the ability to interact as a fully functioning citizen in Germany.”

On Monday, the Supreme Court declined to hear the Romeike’s appeal – paving the way for the Christian family of eight to be deported.

“I think this is a part of the Obama administration’s overall campaign to crush religious freedom in this country,” said Michael Farris, chairman of the Home School Legal Defense Association. His organization is representing family.

“The Obama administration’s attitude toward religious freedom, particularly religious freedom for Christians is shocking,” he told me in an exclusive telephone interview. “I have little doubt that if this family had been of some other faith that the decision would have never been appealed in the first place. They would have let this family stay.”

I guess if this family converted to Islam, and declared their desire to kill Jews and gays, they’d be allowed to stay?

This is where we are in this nation.  We are deteriorating faster than most would think, or at least as much as I thought.  We are rapidly being overtaken by evil, and it will only get worse.

Priest Found Dead, With Message, “Christian Scum” Left on Body

Share

I know what you’re thinking, besides the fact that it’s terrible.  You’re likely thinking that this happened in Egypt, or perhaps was done by Obama’s Syrian Allies Al Qaeda.  But, it’s even worse.  This not only occurred in the UK, but assaults on Christian Clergy are an increasingly common event in that nation.  Shoebat has more…

The heresies of atheism and Islam are flooding England, and there are consequences to this, consequences that are both innate and inevitable to the dangerous acceptance of religious tolerance: violence toward Christianity.

In England, the body of the Rev John Suddards in Thornbury who was discovered, stabbed to death with a note which read ‘Christian scum”.

Over the last five years, 200 priests and vicars have been physically attacked in England. One priest was beaten in his church, another was hit over the head by a wooden stick, and another was bitten in the hand, not by an animal but a satanic hater of God.

Christian persecution is not just happening in the Middle East, its occurring in the western world.

Father Timothy Lipscomb, the vicar of Preston, said:

I think the trouble is you don’t really do an effective job as a parish priest unless you make yourself vulnerable. It is sad that you have to protect yourself to protect others. It’s completely wrong that people should attack clergy. I am not surprised.. I think it is terrible.

The UK is just ahead of the US on this issue.  As this nation becomes increasingly evil, we will start seeing this here as well.  It’s only a matter of time.  There are is plenty of anti-Christian hate in this nation; just waiting for an excuse to act.

Andrew Cuomo: Christians, Gun Owners Have ‘No Place’ in NY

Share

Apparently, according to Andrew Cuomo, NY citizenship require you to be a gay, baby killing,  gun grabber!  That’s how I read his recent statements.  Life News has more…

As reported today:

Governor Cuomo is issuing a warning to what he refers to as the more conservative arm of the Republican party – you’re not welcome in the state of New York.

Moderate Republicans, or those most willing to capitulate to Cuomo’s own extreme agenda, still have the welcome mat rolled out.

Here’s Cuomo during a Friday morning conversation on the Capitol Pressroom (H/t Times Union):

You have a schism within the Republican Party. … They’re searching to define their soul, that’s what’s going on. Is the Republican party in this state a moderate party or is it an extreme conservative party? That’s what they’re trying to figure out. It’s a mirror of what’s going on in Washington. The gridlock in Washington is less about Democrats and Republicans. It’s more about extreme Republicans versus moderate Republicans.

… You’re seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act — it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.

If they’re moderate Republicans like in the Senate right now, who control the Senate — moderate Republicans have a place in their state. George Pataki was governor of this state as a moderate Republican; but not what you’re hearing from them on the far right.”

Cuomo has made a career of referring to anyone that opposes his agenda as “extreme” while simultaneously referring to that agenda as “common sense.” (emphasis added)

This is just part of the unfolding pattern.   Christians are no longer welcome in NY.    At any rate, the marginalization of Christians will continue, as Scripture predicts, until persecution is open, and violence.  Da Tech Guy has more…

Since we pro-life types are not welcome in NY anymore it might behoove us to use some kind of identification so that state officials can mark us undesirables if we enter or pass through the state. I understand the symbol to the right was quite popular not a very long time ago for that very purpose. juden

It’s also my understanding that people wearing such a mark were prevented from owning and or possessing firearms by the state, which was of course for their own good as such people could not be trusted with dangerous weapons, particularly people as extreme as they who opposed the sane and reasonable policies of the state that only wanted what was best for them.

But as this is the 21st century rather than the 20th and the a different group is more identified with the extreme doctrines of marriage being a union of a man and a woman and the concept that human life begins at conception and must be protected that so offend the governor perhaps a different symbol might be more in keeping with 21st century realities.  For example this one.

crucifix

The advantage of this badge twofold.  Not only does it mark those who profess an extreme ideological on marriage & abortion but it doubles as a handy reminder of what happens if you preach unacceptable religious doctrines contrary to what the state considers the public good.

That is very well said.  I just wish he didn’t have the need for saying it.  But, people like Andrew Cuomo will continue to become more bold in their denouncements of Christianity and human freedom.   And eventually, a lot of people will pay a high price for it.

Muslim Man Beheads Two Christians in New Jersey: Media Silent

Share

We should always respect the religion of peace, as we are all told.  After all, they got a religious exception from ObamaCare.  When a Christian speaks Biblical truth about homosexuality, it becomes a national controversy.  Muslims KILL homosexuals all over the world, and it isn’t even a blip on the radar.  Even murdering Christians seems acceptable these days, with even President Obama sending funding and weapons to the Syrian Rebels al Qaeda, who massacres Christians at every turn.

So, it probably should not be a surprise when a Muslim murders beheads Christians in New Jersey, and there is no mention in the MSM.  Here is more…

How much do you want to bet that if it was  a Christian beheading Muslims, that it would be a national news story?
