Yesterday, we discussed that the Obama Campaign’s allocation of funds and resources indicated that they are panicking, using scarce resources in places that a democrat incumbent should never have to defend this late in the game.  Today, however, even more indications of collapse and impending doom came to light.

Reason for Panic 1:  Dwindling Crowds at Obama Events…

In a related presidential campaign rally in Commerce City, Colorado, former President Bill Clinton was the designated cheerleader to speak to the gathered faithful. However, the rally, held at a Commerce City High School, wasn’t “optimal,” to use a phrase from President Obama. The school extended the gymnasium’s partition across the half-court line, so as to give the rally a more intimate setting.

This Obama rally was in start contrast to the Romney/Ryan rally held last week at Red Rocks which was filled to overflowing capacity and had to turn away thousands who attempted to attend the rally.

Can you spell e.t.h.u.s.i.a.s.m?  Apparently, team Romney has a ton, and team Obama…not so much.

Reason for Panic 2:  Romney Leading in Early Voting…

According to the Colorado Secretary of State’s reporting of early voting, Republican’s continue to lead the way in returning their early voting ballots. With total votes of 1,150,698, reported so far the breakdown is as follows;

Republican – 439,269 (38.2%)

Democrat – 404,870 (35.2%)

Undecided – 295,122 (25.6%)

If that keeps up, maybe the Democrats will shy away from early voting.  Though, they probably think that the truckloads full of “absentee ballots” that they have on hand will counter this.

Reason to Panic 3:  Obama Having a Hard Time Leading in Cooked Polls

But with one week to go the last gasp effort to rally the MSNBC troops took place today on Morning Joe as they touted the Quinnipiac/CBS?NYT polls Saying Obama is up 5 in Ohio with a week to go.

What really got me was their claim that the Quinnipiac poll was the “most accurate” and again playing the “poll denier” card. I’ve personally found their numbers the least believable and while they were talking about the fights in other states as an alternative to Ohio for Romney I looked up the internals of this Ohio/VA/Florida poll and found this:

After talking about how reliable Quinnipiac is, for 15 minutes and while I was tweeting out the D+8 samples in all of these states D+7 in Florida, they suddenly pivoted as Mark Halperin brought up the D+8 sample and people asked how can this be the case if Mitt is up by huge margins among independents in this poll?

Um, if you have a hard time leading in a poll that is over-sampled  to your side, how do you have confidence that you’re going to win the election?  It’s not looking good.

Reason to Panic 4:  Freefall in Michigan?

And, Obama is in a free-fall collapse in Michigan.
Business Insider reported:

President Barack Obama has seen a once-steady lead in Michigan decline to just 2 points in a recent poll, and Michigan has been thrown into “toss-up” status in the election’s final week.

The poll, from The Detroit News, finds Obama leading Republican rival Mitt Romney, 47.7 percent to 45 percent. That’s the second poll in a week that has shown an increasingly tight race in the state, including a Foster McCollum White Baydoun poll that showed the race virtually tied. And it comes as a pro-Romney super PAC, American Crossroads, includes Michigan in its $50 million, final-week ad buy.

Intriguingly, when comparing the Michigan poll to a new poll of Ohio released today, it shows that the race in Michigan is actually closer.

Only leading by 2.7 points?  With most polls, that will be within the margin of error.  And, if Democrats are over-sampled, as they are in most polls, it can spell doom for Obama.

Reason  to Panic 5:  Has Obama Lost Independents?

Take a look at this…

The evidence is piling up.  The Obama Campaign has many reasons to panic.  The problem is that as they panic, their lies will become more outlandish, and their ability to justify illegal acts to win will only be amplified.  It could get very interesting.

Without the Lapdog Media, Obama Is Doomed

Minister of Disinformation Jay Carney and the rest of Barack Obama’s minions are running scared.

For the first time in a long time the national press called Obama out yesterday, for his “doing just fine” comment last week on the state of the private sector economy. (Except Juan Williams, who parroted Obama, his central processing unit showing its usual signs of damage.)

Carney’s response to the press: “you all ought to do your jobs and report on the context” of Obama’s gaffe.

I can simply refer you again to what the President talked about as he stood here before you in the context of his rather full discussion of the state of the economy, and the simple fact that in this recovery has seen 4.3 million jobs in the private sector created – it has also seen a situation where, because of massive layoffs of teachers, firefighters and police officers – a reduction in the public sector. And by public sector, we’re talking about state and local governments who have had to layoff teachers from classrooms, firefighters from the force and police officers from the force. That was the context of his comments which I think everyone in this room was aware of at the time.

I watched Obama’s “rather full discussion” of the state of economy, resisting the urge to commit seppuku. What I heard was lethargic script reading. He said nothing we didn’t already know. Obama was about as lively as a dead fish, except during the questioning period following his “rather full discussion”– in which he said, with his usual arrogance, that it was offensive for the GOP to accuse his administration of being the source of national security leaks. (Shockingly, it turns out the Obama machine probably is.)

In fact, Obama’s defiance in the face of questions about sensitive information leaks is exactly what Carney demonstrated yesterday. Carney’s blustering was symptomatic of the administration’s official policy in response to controversy: Bully, bully, bully.

And it’s more revealing of what’s really bothering the administration: If the lapdog media is finally waking up from a four-year Obama high, if the lapdog media is going to start questioning this president and his record (or lack thereof), if the lapdog media is going to start moving toward giving even 10% fair coverage in this election, Obama’s in for a tough road.

Obama NEEDS the lapdog media. The lapdog media made Obama because they didn’t vet him. The lapdog media didn’t tell voters about Jeremiah Wright. The lapdog media didn’t tell voters about Bill Ayers. The lapdog media didn’t tell voters Obama’s ties to ACORN. The lapdog media didn’t question the lack of transparency from the candidate who promised the most transparent administration in history. Instead, the lapdog media were caught up in hope and change and presumably snorting unicorn farts. The election of the first black president of these now fractured United States promised to eradicate hundreds of years of bad treatment of minorities in this country in one fell swoop. It would reverse history. It would transform America into a utopia. It would heal all wounds and stem all tides and spread rainbows across the land.Consider the saccharine profile the Washington Post ran on Obama on August 22, 2008.

Mitt Romney, meanwhile, doesn’t need the lapdog media. He’s already overcome an anti-saccharine, trumped-up WaPo story about his so-called bullying youth and theadministration’s fiasco in using the lapdog media to denigrate Romney’s tenure at Bain Capital, which didn’t turn out to be 1/10th as bad as Obama 2012 and the media claimed it was. (Always remember, the lapdog media will tell you one or two “bad” facts but leave out 10 other positive facts, in order to advance the left’s narrative.) Romney, in fact, has us, the legion of electronic conservative pundits and activists and everyday citizens who’ve had enough of the socialist nightmare freight train we’re on. Obama has Media Matters, living-with-mom-@Shoq, Mother Jones, and a host of other energized but failing online rejects who couldn’t hold a candle to us if we gave them all the wax and wicks in this country.

And we’ve vetted Romney. We excoriated him during the brutal Republican primaries. We’ve been harder on him than a rattlesnake treats its prey. I’d wager that, if Romney wins, his administration is going to pay a lot more attention to what the online community and the American people as a whole are telling him about the state of the country than Obama did, probably because he won’t be breaking any presidential golfing or fundraising records. He’ll be too busy cleaning up after the Demorrhoid in Chief.

The lapdog media isn’t going to win any fans. They’re not going to do 1/32nd of the job that we will. They’ve become a de facto arm of the government, and, when leftists are in charge, as long as the president isn’t sleeping with interns, they’ve been content to massage press releases and bland statements from the Whitehouse and pass them off as their own insights.

Until, apparently, now.

If the lapdog media is waking up, if they’re becoming aware, if they’re finally starting to question this administration, Obama might as well just pack up and quit now, while he’s behind.

2012 Apocalypse Nonsense: Will an Asteroid Hit the Earth This Year?

Share

Just like the rapture, oops, we got it wrong-it’ll happen in a few months-oh darn it didn’t happen at all, story from last year, we’re being bombarded by the tales of future doom and gloom for the rest of 2012.  Here is the latest to cross the CH 2.0 Dunderhead department...we’re about to be wiped out by an asteroid!

Several sites have tried to persuade readers that this is a hoax. It is not. The academic departments referenced in the story have deep ties to the Military/Industrial complex and have issued denials about any observed near earth object possibly striking earth. However they will not explain the specifics of their research in Antarctica. Only recently did they admit to using an military underwater robot and hot water drill that drills through 1km of ice per day. It is the vehemence of the denials and lack of transparency that is becoming very suspicious.

If you caught Starfire Tor on CoastToCoastAM last week you may have heard her mention that ‘they’, the PowersThatBe know that an incoming near earth object is going hit earth sometime in the next 2 years. There is evidence to suggest the object is going to strike one of the poles… most likely the south pole. Special Scientific teams have been down in Antarctica mapping the ice shelf for probable weak points. The object is rumored to be 800 meters wide and when it hits the south pole the entire ice shelf will collapse within months.

Back in the 90’s, I used to listen to Coast to Coast AM-it was great comedy.  I particularly remember Art Bell interviewing a man who was a time traveler from the future.  Then, other time travelers from the future called to claim that the other time travelers from the future are fakes, and that only they were the real time travelers from the future.  Apparently, there was a great market for time travelers from the future in the 90’s, leading to quite a few frauds.  Or, was that a lack of reliable anti-psychotics?

Anywho, rest easy folks, there are no giant asteroids targeting your back yard.

Conclusion

There is no known object that is going to impact Earth in 2012. Small to medium objects impact Earth every day with no damage. Large objects are more likely to be found than small objects, and so we are confident that we are safe from large objects for the next several decades.

While there are no signs that an asteroid will wipe us out this year, it is rumored that Snookie’s baby is due on 12-21-12 (the day the Mayan long count calendar runs out).  To me, that is, by far, the greatest threat to mankind.

Maybe those pesky Mayans were right!
