And, of course, we gun advocates, that have FACTS on our side, are the crazy ones.
And, of course, we gun advocates, that have FACTS on our side, are the crazy ones.
In the wake of Sandy Hook, Connecticut gun grabbers capitalized on dead children to pass a ban on the sale of
assault rifles ugly guns. Because as we all know…
Criminals break laws.
Passing more laws keep criminals from breaking laws.
Because criminals don’t follow laws anyway…
Makes sense, doesn’t it?
Anyways, the Connecticut law allows present
assault rifles ugly gun owners to keep their gun, as long as the register them, so they can be confiscated one day. However, the good people of Connecticut has decided that the state has gone too far, and are electing to not participate. Fox News has more…
It ought to be interesting to see how the gun grabbers handle this. Do they think they can put tens of thousands of people in prison? Will they bust a few as a warning to the rest? Will they offer an amnesty? Time will tell, and I will cover it.
As we all know, regressives hate gun rights. It interferes with their ability to dominate the public. So, anything that glorifies, or even affirms gun ownership is evil. So, fully knowing that the following video will terribly offend gun grabbing regressives, I proudly present the following…
Apparently, according to Andrew Cuomo, NY citizenship require you to be a gay, baby killing, gun grabber! That’s how I read his recent statements. Life News has more…
Governor Cuomo is issuing a warning to what he refers to as the more conservative arm of the Republican party – you’re not welcome in the state of New York.
Moderate Republicans, or those most willing to capitulate to Cuomo’s own extreme agenda, still have the welcome mat rolled out.
Here’s Cuomo during a Friday morning conversation on the Capitol Pressroom (H/t Times Union):
You have a schism within the Republican Party. … They’re searching to define their soul, that’s what’s going on. Is the Republican party in this state a moderate party or is it an extreme conservative party? That’s what they’re trying to figure out. It’s a mirror of what’s going on in Washington. The gridlock in Washington is less about Democrats and Republicans. It’s more about extreme Republicans versus moderate Republicans.
… You’re seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act — it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.
If they’re moderate Republicans like in the Senate right now, who control the Senate — moderate Republicans have a place in their state. George Pataki was governor of this state as a moderate Republican; but not what you’re hearing from them on the far right.”
Cuomo has made a career of referring to anyone that opposes his agenda as “extreme” while simultaneously referring to that agenda as “common sense.” (emphasis added)
This is just part of the unfolding pattern. Christians are no longer welcome in NY. At any rate, the marginalization of Christians will continue, as Scripture predicts, until persecution is open, and violence. Da Tech Guy has more…
Since we pro-life types are not welcome in NY anymore it might behoove us to use some kind of identification so that state officials can mark us undesirables if we enter or pass through the state. I understand the symbol to the right was quite popular not a very long time ago for that very purpose.
It’s also my understanding that people wearing such a mark were prevented from owning and or possessing firearms by the state, which was of course for their own good as such people could not be trusted with dangerous weapons, particularly people as extreme as they who opposed the sane and reasonable policies of the state that only wanted what was best for them.
But as this is the 21st century rather than the 20th and the a different group is more identified with the extreme doctrines of marriage being a union of a man and a woman and the concept that human life begins at conception and must be protected that so offend the governor perhaps a different symbol might be more in keeping with 21st century realities. For example this one.
The advantage of this badge twofold. Not only does it mark those who profess an extreme ideological on marriage & abortion but it doubles as a handy reminder of what happens if you preach unacceptable religious doctrines contrary to what the state considers the public good.
That is very well said. I just wish he didn’t have the need for saying it. But, people like Andrew Cuomo will continue to become more bold in their denouncements of Christianity and human freedom. And eventually, a lot of people will pay a high price for it.
The next time a gun grabber tells you that the Second Amendment only applies to muskets, introduce her to the Puckle Gun…
Whereas our Sovereign Lord King George by his Letters pattents bearing date the Fifteenth day of May in the Fourth Year of his Majesties Reign was generously pleased to Give & Grant unto me James Puckle of London Gent my Exors Admors & Assignes the sole priviledge & Authority to Make Exercise Work and use a Portable Gun or Machine (by me lately invented) call’d a Defence in that part of his Majesties Kingdom of Great Britain called England his Dominion of Wales, Town of Berwick upon Tweed and his Majesties Kingdom of Ireland in such manner & with such Materials as shou’d be ascertain’d to be the New Invention by writing under my Hand & Seal and Inrolled in the High court of chancery within three Calendary Months from the date of the pattent as in & by his Majesties Letters Pattents Relacon being thereunto had Doth & may amongst Other things morefully & at large Appear Now I the said James Puckle Do hereby Declare that the Materials whereof the Machine is Made are Steel Iron & Brass and that the Trepied whereon it Stands is Wood & Iron And that in the Above print (to which I hereby Refer) the Said Gun or Machine by me Invented is Delienated & Described. July the 25th 1718./.
This is a repeating firearm. If you had a number of preloaded drums, you could do some damage; compared to the musket, that could be loaded (under the best conditions) three times per minute. If you had helpers reloading the drums, you could keep up what, back then, would have been a phenomenal rate of fire!
I have to admit some surprise. I had not heard of the Puckle Gun. It obviously had not been wildly successful, but it existed, and modern reproductions exist.
According to Wyblog, New Jersey reacted to the Sandy Hook massacre by passing some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country. And, like other states or cities that have passed strict gun laws, the murder rate went up…
Last year our knee-jerk liberal fascists reacted predictably to the Newtown, CT school shooting by enacting some of the strictest gun control legislation in the nation.
Also last year the murder rate in our fine state soared to a seven-year high.
Coincidence? I mean really, how can criminals so easily acquire guns when New Jersey makes it so hard to buy and own them?
Oh, right, criminals don’t follow the law.
So naturally the solution is more gun control legislation!
[Newark Police Director Samuel] DeMaio said .45-caliber handguns — far more powerful than the 9 mm weapons once common in Newark — and the proliferation of assault weapons led to the city’s increased number of killings.
“If the federal government is really serious about gun control and the violence that’s taking place, not just in Newark, but in every city throughout this country, they will get strict and do the right thing with the gun laws,” he said. “Make them consistent. … Take the guns out of the criminals’ hands.”
As usual, gun grabbers fail to realize that criminals do not follow laws, so when you restrict guns, the only people restricted are people that follow the law. Criminals, I would imagine, who will still be armed, see the newly disarmed populace in terms similar to “easy meat.”
Of course, if the gun grabbers had their way, he’d be dead, but that’s a small price to pay for the control they would obtain. The Daley Gator has more…
A pizza delivery driver is believed to have defended his life with a firearm after an armed man attempted to rob him on Monday night.
Witness James Wethers told KNXV-TV that he heard three gunshots at around 11 p.m. Monday night. When the looked outside, he saw the “freaked out” pizza delivery and another man face down in a driveway across from his home in Redford, Mich.
“He just said he was robbed. The guy put a gun up to his head and he had to shoot the guy,” he said. “He was freaked out…he didn’t know what to do.”
It’s unknown at this time what the legal fate of the delivery man was. One thing is certain, had he not been armed, he might well be dead. And that, of course, is why you’ll never see stories like this in the MSM-it simply does not match the narrative.
Apparently, the effort that began with just a few companies has grown considerably, the list of companies that refuse to sell arm to law enforcement in states that have restrictive gun laws has grown to 120. Weasel Zippers has more…
On February 22, “Right Views” reported that a growing number firearm companies have suspended the sale of guns to states, counties, cities and municipalities that restrict their citizens’ rights to own them.
In just two weeks, the number of companies participating in what has been named the “Firearms Equality Movement,” has more than tripled from 34 companies to 118.
The Police Loophole lists every company and links to the statements that each has released regarding their new policies.
Wilson Combat, a custom pistol manufacturer located in Berryville, Arkansas, joined the movement on February 28 stating the following:
“Wilson Combat will no longer provide any products or services to any State Government imposing legislation that infringes on the second amendment rights of its law abiding citizens. This includes any Law Enforcement Department, Law Enforcement Officers, or any State Government Entity or Employee of such an entity. This also applies to any local municipality imposing such infringements.”
Wilson lists the states included on its no sale policy as: California, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C. and The City of Chicago, Illinois.
The statement also reads:
“Wilson Combat will in NO way support the government of these states or their anti-gun agenda that only limits the rights of law-abiding citizens. Wilson Combat will continue to supply any product and/or service they can legally sell in these states to all non-government affiliated citizens.”
It seems that more and m0re arms companies are “going Galt,” so to speak. If you go to the Police Loophole site, you can get the complete list of participating companies. While I would like to see the list grow to all arms manufacturers, I have to recognize that some will put the almighty dollar above what is right, but hopefully, it makes the points to the gun grabbers, and makes it very hard to arm themselves against the people.
A growing number of firearm and firearm-related companies have stated they will no longer sell items to states, counties, cities and municipalities that restrict their citizens’ rights to own them.
According to The Police Loophole, 34 companies have joined in publicly stating that governments who seek to restrict 2nd Amendment rights will themselves be restricted from purchasing the items they seek to limit or ban.
Extreme Firepower Inc., located in Inwood, WV has had a longstanding policy that states:
“The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms…If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction.”
York Arms, located in Buxton, ME released a statement following new legislation in New York:
“Based on the recent legislation in New York, we are prohibited from selling rifles and receivers to residents of New York. We have chosen to extend that prohibition to all governmental agencies associated with or located within New York.”
Quality Arms, located in Rigby, ID writes on their website, “elected officials have their own agenda to circumnavigate the truth and destroy the constitution of the United States.”
All it has ever taken to undo evil is for good people to stand up and be counted. These companies, and more, have d0ne just that. I would recommend trying to patronize any business that is engaging in this type of action. Even if you are unable to purchase anything, at least send them an email thanking them for their stand.
The AR15 is a much maligned firearm. It’s the civilian version of the M16, and can only fire as a semi-automatic, making it a glorified 22 long rifle. However, because it looks mean, it’s a favorite target of the gun grabbers. Since it is target of future “ugly gun laws,” it can do no good-even if it stops a home invasion. Texas Fish and Game has more…
If the gun grabbers, and their allies in the MSM had their way, these children might be dead. But, that would be a small sacrifice in order to get the guns, and the power that goes along with that. It sounds cruel? The only cruelty is that guns save lives every day, and they save far more lives than they “take.” But, since the narrative is to take guns, these stories will not be reported.
Frankly, it would be better fro the liberals and their MSM lapdogs if the children had died. It would have fit the narrative, not disproved it.
