The forces of tolerance are once again on the offensive.  Focus on the family has a movie coming out with the topic of traditional marriage.  The gay mafia doesn’t like it, so they have decided that no one is allowed to see it.  You know, tolerance!

The Christian organization Focus on the Family is releasing a movie in theaters May 6 called “Irreplaceable” about the value of traditional families, the importance of fathers being engaged in their children’s lives and the healing power of forgiveness.

But apparently to some advocates for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, or LGBT, community, that’s a cardinal sin.

LGBT advocates have launched an effort to disparage the movie online, petition against it and work to make sure “Irreplaceable” isn’t seen in your local theater.

Focus President Jim Daly reports in a blog post that some of the more than 700 theaters nationwide scheduled to show the film in a one-night-only event are starting to back out, intimidated by homosexual activists.

“Some of those who disagree with us are calling ‘Irreplaceable’ ‘anti-gay propaganda,’” Daly writes, “and demanding that theaters refuse to show the film.”

Efforts to shut down the movie are being coordinated through Facebook, Twitter and a Change.org petition begun by Shalom Rosenberg, a homosexual middle school teacher from Belmont, Calif.

Get over to the original link and read some more.  Like all the other “arms” of Cultural Marxism, the gay mafia beliefs that theirs is the only opinion allowed in public discourse.  They can, of course, threaten to kill people, threaten people’s jobs, businesses, and safety.  But no one else is allowed to depart on iota from their mind set.  Because, as we all know, the forces of tolerance, like the gay mafia, are the most intolerant people on Earth.

The movie ‘Lone Survivor’ is a tribute to all men and women serving in the military, especially ones serving or who have served overseas. This movie looks outstanding and I will definitely be seeing it soon. I absolutely love how it honors the brave men and women who stand up and defend our freedom. Here is a review from Patheos:

Nothing quite encapsulates America’s ambiguity, discomfort, and pride in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as the true stories of soldiers home from the field.

Lone Survivor, a story of a factual anti-Taliban mission gone wrong in the hills of Afghanistan, is based on the memoir of the same name. It is gripping and powerful, although hard to watch, and can stand alongside powerful movies like Zero Dark Thirty, The Hurt Locker, and the Somali mission movie Blackhawk Down.

As the spearhead of a larger mission to take out a top Taliban commander, the military drops four Navy SEALs into a rugged, rural, mountainous part of Afghanistan: Marcus Luttrell (Mark Wahlberg, who also produced the film), Michael Murphy (Taylor Kitsch), Danny Dietz (Emile Hirsch), and Matt Axelson (Ben Foster).

They four warriors are hidden on a deserted mountainside waiting for the next step in their exquisitely planned mission when unpredictable Afghanistan strikes. A band of goat herders stumble on their hiding place.

The highly trained SEALs have no problem taking the three goat herders into custody, but the question of what to do with them is harder. The old man and young boy are clearly no immediate threat, but the teenage boy seethes with a rage that needs no translation. They know without speaking the language that his freedom would mean their exposure to the Taliban militia in the valley below.

With communication gear on the blink and no means to detain the herders, they must decide what to do.

What would you do?  Review continues here.

Three of the costars of ‘Lone Survivor’ were on the show The Talk on Friday.  The actors tell how they were affected in portraying the four Navy SEALs in the movie. It is a great interview.

Gray State Trailer

Share

I recently saw the following Trailer via Facebook.  It is for a movie project named Gray State.  I believe that   it was on Steve Piotrowski’s Facebook page.

I found it to be terribly chilling.

Here is the summary with the video…

GRAY STATE SYNOPSIS
The world reels with the turmoil of war, geological disaster, and economic collapse, while Americans continue to submerge themselves in illusions of safety and immunity. While rights are sold for security, the federal government, swollen with power, begins a systematic takeover of liberty in order to bring about a New World Order.

Americans, quarantined to militarized districts, become a population ripe for tyrannical control.

Fearmongering, terrorism, police state, martial law, war, arrest, internment, hunger, oppression, violence, resistance — these are the new terms by which Americans define their existence. Neighbor is turned against neighbor as the value of the dollar plunges to zero, food supplies are depleted, and everyone is a terror suspect. There are arrests. Disappearances. Bio attacks. Public executions of those even suspected of dissent. Even rumors of concentration camps on American soil.

This is the backdrop to an unfolding story of resistance. American militias prepare for guerilla warfare. There are mass defections from the military as true Patriots attempt to rally around the Constitution and defend liberty, preparing a national insurgency against federal forces, knowing full well this will be the last time in history the oppressed will be capable of organized resistance.

It is a time of transition, of shifting alliance, of mass awakening and mass execution. It is an impending storm, an iron-gray morning that puts into effect decades of over-comfort and complacency, and Americans wake up to an occupied homeland. It is a time of lists — black list, white list, and those still caught in the middle, those who risk physical death for their free will and those who sell their souls to maintain their idle thoughts and easy comforts. It is in this Gray State that the perpetuation of human freedom will be contested, or crushed.

Is it the near future, or is it the present? The Gray State is coming – by consent or conquest. This is battlefield USA.

This movie needs to be made.

Runaway Slave Movie a Success!

Share

Earlier this year, I posted the trailer for the movie, Runaway Slave.

The movie is in limited release, and is apparently quite well at this point…

RUNAWAY SLAVE, the controversial new documentary, achieved what seemed to be the impossible this weekend, experiencing amazing theatrical success in both the Shreveport and Atlanta markets.  In a market crowded with summer blockbusters, the message of ticket buyers was clear – RUNAWAY SLAVE is a film that is resounding with people in all demographics.

In Atlanta at the AMC Barrett Commons in Kennesaw, the film outperformed all other films at the theater, excluding IMAX.  Screenings were sold out hours before, and the film ended in second place, just behind The Dark Knight, per-screen in the Atlanta market. In Shreveport/Bossier City, the film has been held over for an unprecedented 4th week.

Here is a video of reactions to the film…

The lefties better get busy stopping this movie, or too many of their slaves might get ideas about freedom!

Here is the site for the movie.  Call your local theater, and ask them to bring this movie!

If Cuba was Really the “Workers Paradise,” Why are so Many People Escaping it?

Share

If we listen to useful idiots like Sean Penn and Michael Moore, Cuba is a wonderful land of prosperity, freedom and free health care.  However, someone neglected to tell the Cuban people who continue, for some unknown reason freedom, to escape this paradise on Earth.

For example, in 2008, 18 Cuban Soccer players came to Tampa for an Olympic qualifying match.  However, only 11 ended up returning…

(Reuters) – Cuba’s Olympic football team took to the field with only 10 men on Thursday after up to seven of their players defected.

Five members of the communist state’s under-23 team defected after their Olympic qualifying game against the United States, a 1-1 draw, in Tampa on Tuesday.

A further two players, both reported to have defected, were absent from the line-up against Honduras on Thursday.

With one player already suspended following a red card, Cuba coach Raul Gonzalez had only ten players available to him and his team began the match with a one-man disadvantage and no substitutes.

Um, you mean they weren’t willing to return to the worker’s paradise?  How very strange.

Of course, thousands of Cubans flee yearly, mostly to the US, but let’s ignore that, because Michel Moore was allowed to film some “Potemkin hospitals” for one of his mockumentaries.

And now, for a more ironic tale, imagine that a filmaker used Cuban actors in a movie about fleeing Cuba.  Then, when those actors are to come to the US to promote the film, they defect!  Here’s more from the Daily Mail…

Two actors that star in a film about escaping from the streets of Havana to America have vanished in Miami in a shining example of life imitating art.

Anailin de la Rua de la Torre and Javier Nunez Florian, both 20 years old, were flown from Cuba to the United States on Friday, scheduled to appear at their film’s premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

But neither showed up in New York for the ‘Una Noche’ red carpet, leaving their co-star, Dariel Arrechada, 20, to explain what happened.

Friday was the first time any of the actors had ever been to the states, the film’s director, Lucy Mulloy, tweeted last month.

‘Actors are so excited to come to Tribeca FF!! First time out of Cuba to the US!’ she wrote.

Ms Mulloy had even been developing a sequel to the film, but plans will have to be altered to accommodate the missing stars.

Talk about life imitating art!  Only one of the film’s three stars will return.  I guess two out of three ain’t bad…

At any rate, the useful idiots will continue to claim that Cuba is great, and any problems there are caused by the US.  (remember, when socialism fails, its ALWAYS someone else’s fault) But, at the same time, a steady stream of freedom-seekers will brave the sea to escape the island paradise.  As usual, the left claims one thing, but the reality is very different.

Iron Sky is Coming!

Share

If the title is confusing, allow me to explain.  Iron Sky is a highly anticipated dark comedy about one of my favorite conspiracy theories; that a select group of Nazis escaped in the aftermath of WW II.  No, this bunch didn’t hang out in South America and hide from the Israelis, they ended up sneaking down to Antartica, and escaped…to the dark side of the moon…in flying saucers!  Yes, there are people that actually believe this!  See this video for what the theory implies.

Made by a group on independent film makers, Iron Sky was fan supported.  In other words, they made the movie with donations from fans.  If you question the quality, take a look at the extended trailer…

And yes, these are the same folks that brought us Star Wreck…

Fortunately, they were able to hire real actors for Iron Sky, and it is in English.

What can I say, I’ve been waiting for this for over two years!

Check out the site for Iron Sky for how the film was made, and how you can see it.
