It seems that the good guys, scored a victory.  Pamela Geller has announced that PayPal has come to it’s senses and ended it’s prohibition against Atlas Shrugs and two other sites owned by Geller.

Geller explained: “The decision that Atlas Shrugs, SIOA, and FDI constitute ‘hate sites’ was an example of the ongoing attempt by Leftists and Islamic supremacist groups like the Hamas-linked hate group the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to rule their political opposition outside the bounds of acceptable and reasonable political discourse.”

She added: “The goal behind accusations of ‘hatred’ and ‘bigotry’ leveled against groups like SIOA and FDI, which are dedicated to defending human rights and American Constitutional values, is to silence them so that Islamic supremacists can have free rein to restrict the rights of Americans without opposition. PayPal’s capitulation to this smear campaign was an ominous sign.”

But on Monday, a PayPal representative contacted Geller to inform her that Atlas Shrugs, SIOA and FDI had been mistakenly designated “hate sites,” and that the designations would be removed. The reversal follows an avalanche of critical emails PayPal received from followers of the enormously popular Atlas Shrugs blog.

Well done all, though I can’t help but think that they reversed this before FOX and talk radio picked it up.

Keep up the good work, Ms. Geller.

Well folks, there are two shining examples of leftist “free speech” from this weekend.

Censorship Example #1: YouTube banhammers We Con the World.

If you go to all the sites that posted the video “We Con the World,” you’ll find that the video has been removed.  It apparently had over 3,000,000 views.

Well fret not.  Folks have been re-posting it, and we won’t give up.

If you are using FireFox (and you should be), install the Download Helper plugin, and you can save videos.  Then, they can be easily uploaded to most any video site.

Censorship Example #2:  PayPal threatens Atlas.

Pamela Geller, the admin of Atlas Shrugs, has disclosed that PayPal has declared her place a “hate site,” and can no longer use PayPal to elicit donations.  You can check out the details at here place.

My idea on this is simple.  If anyone out there knows someone at FOX News, see if they can get this covered.  All of us are deleting our PayPal accounts, and if FOX puts it on the air,  PayPal might suddenly find hundreds of thousands of people suddenly closing their accounts.   Maybe that will get their attention.  I don’t usually support boycotts, but an overwhelming response might be effective here.  Let’s support Ms. Geller as she fights the good fight.

Shall we call it “PayPal-Gate?”

And Last, but not Least, Some Quality Conservative/Patriot Linkage!

Wyblog exposes some more ridicule of Catholics, and notes that they wouldn’t dare to it to Islam.

Trestin has interviewed Opus.  It’s a good read.

The Camp of the Saints has an important post about saving a Christian convert from certain death.

Manhattan Infidel has useful advise, as long as you aren’t arrested.
