Well, I was terribly wrong. Barak Obama has won a second term as POTUS. While I think myself, and many of my fellow bloggers were correct about polls and enthusiasm, the Obama Campaign apparently were able to reach voters that were “under the radar,” and get them to the polls. While fraud was also likely a factor, solid evidence won’t likely come until well after the matter was decided. Also, the MSM had a role, as it had the entire first term. Especially when it came to the cover-up of the Benghazi massacre and FEMA’s failure in the aftermath of Sandy.

While the emotions are running high (or low, as the case may be) at the CH 2.0 bunker, I have to maintain some dignity, and will try to maintain some control and dignity. That being said, the blog will serve some slightly different purposes…

  • To cover how Obama and his policies will wreck what’s left of the country. Expect me to remind Obama voters of their choice when they lose their jobs, healthcare, have their hours cut to avoid ObamaCare penalties, and how inflation will increase. All the negative consequences will be displayed.
  • I will continue, or go back to, making posts about the ideas of human freedom. Ideas can kill, or essentially poison a socialist state, and I will inject as much of it as humanly possible.
  • In the end, America has selected failure and dependency as a way of life. Frankly, I see no way to correct that. So, I will discuss the damage done by it.
  • I will blog until it either no longer suits my purposes, or some government action bans it. Then, I’ll find another way to do it.

As always I will not advocate violence. It’s over. No need to complicate it by acting like leftists.

We’ll get into the particulars later. I’m going to bed.

What happens when Mitt Romney recommends that business owners talk to their employees about the consequences of a second Obama term?  Upset liberals! Here is the “leaked” video…

And, here is commentary from Working in These Times…

In the June call, Romney went on to reassure his audience that it is perfectly legal for them to talk to their employees about how to vote:

Nothing illegal about you talking to your employees about what you believe is best for the business, because I think that will figure into their election decision, their voting decision and of course doing that with your family and your kids as well.

He’s correct that such speech is now legal for the first time ever, thanks to the Citizen United ruling, which overturned previous Federal Election Commission laws that prohibited employers from political campaigning among employees.

In the post-Citizens United era, “there is not much political protection for at-will employees in the private sector workplace,” explains University of Marquette Law Professor Paul Secunda, a pro-union labor lawyer. “It is conceivable, under the current legal regime, that an employer like Koch could actually get away with forcing his employees, on pains of termination, to campaign for a given candidate or political party.”

And, here is some more from Think Regress…

There have already been some reports of employers suggesting how their employees should cast their ballots. A CEO of a Florida resort company threatened to fire his employees if Obama won. The CEO of a timeshare company did the same. And the famous right-wing Koch brothers warned of “consequences” of not voting for Romney.

Now, let’s take a second and look at this, because hypocrisy abounds…

1.  An employer has no way of knowing how an employee voted.  How can they, with the secret ballot?  However, unions want to get rid of secret ballot elections for their purposes.  They want employees to sign a card, in the open view of union representatives,  so they will know exactly who supported the union.  That, and they’ll know their address, phone number, and the like.  But, that’s OK, because they’re liberals.

2.  No employer, in any scenario discussed, has threatened employees.  What they have done is told employees that Obama and his policies are so bad for business that some may may have to do layoffs to stay in business.  And, it would also be logical to predict that many small businesses may go under entirely in Obama term two, because they won’t be able to afford all of the new taxes and  regulations.  But, unions can offer all sorts if dire predictions, and it’s perfectly OK, even when none of them come to pass.

3.  Citizens United did removed restrictions from employees that allows them to share information with their employees.  But, once again, that only serves to level the playing field.  For places where people are forced to join a union, they union bosses have been telling people how to vote for decades.  Essentially, liberals don’t want balance in the workplace anymore than they want in on the airwaves.  They seek to control information, so this is an affront to that intent.

4.  Remember this story about union bosses fining members if they did not support Elizabeth Warren?

In the end, this appears to be a classic case of liberal projection.  They use lies, threats and intimidation to get their people in line, and to silence dissent in the ranks.  Since they do this as standard practice, it’s reasonable to assume that they would assume others do it to, even if the others are not.

ASG CEO Warns Workers of Consequences of Obama Second Term

Share

Apparently, the CEO of ASG is  being a bit frank with his employees, and the Democrats are not liking it.  The Blaze has the story…

The CEO then explained what the re-election of President Obama would mean for the company– and the jobs of everyone who works there:

Many of you have been with ASG for over 5, 10, 15, and even 20 years. As you know, together, we have been able to keep ASG an independent company while still growing our revenues and customers. But I can tell you, if the US re-elects President Obama, our chances of staying independent are slim to none. I am already heavily involved in considering options that make our independence go away, and with that all of our lives would change forever. I believe that a new President and administration would give US citizens and the world the renewed confidence and optimism we all need to get the global economies started again, and give ASG a chance to stay independent. If we fail as a nation to make the right choice on November 6th, and we lose our independence as a company, I don’t want to hear any complaints regarding the fallout that will most likely come. Remember, in the world of business, companies are consolidators or they get consolidated; so far ASG has been a consolidator, completing over 60 acquisitions in our 26 year history. When we buy a company, we eliminate about 60 percent of the salaries of the employees of that company. If we lose our independence and get consolidated, the same thing would happen to ASG’s employees.

I am asking you to give us one more chance to stay independent by voting in a new President and administration on November 6th. Even then, we still might not be able to remain independent, but it will at least give us a chance. If we don’t, that chance goes away.  [Emphasis added]

OK, anyone see where the problem is here?  I don’t, but that doesn’t stop some from being hypocritically alarmed.  For example, Think Regress has covered this in a rather negative light…

Last week, billionaire CEO David Siegel, who runs a timeshare empire, threatened to fire employees if President Obama is reelected in November, saying in an email, “the economy doesn’t currently pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is another 4 years of the same Presidential administration.”

In These Times also reported today that a company owned by billionaire right-wing activists David and Charles Koch sent pro-Romney mailers to its employees. The mailer gives a veiled warning that, if Obama is reelected, “then many of our more than 50,000 U.S. employees and contractors may suffer the consequences, including higher gasoline prices, runaway inflation, and other ills.”

OK then, we’ve already covered the negative consequences of Obama’s policies extensively.  Including how people have lost their jobs, lost their plans, and such, because of ObamaCare.  Think Regress thinks that people warning their employees of this is apparently bad.  However, it doesn’t stop Think Regress from doing so of the exact same thing…

4 Ways Paul Ryan’s Budget Would Devastate The Poor

You see folks, it’s OK for the folks at Think Regress to lie about stuff.  Just like every election cycle, the media, union bosses, the Democrats, and lib organizations like Think Regress warn us all that the GOP is hell bent on starving the children and freezing the elderly.  Remember welfare reform in the 90’s?  Weren’t we told that there were going to be starved women and children dead in the street?  But, even though that didn’t happen (and none of it ever does), the lefties can make these dire warnings and predictions.  But, if a CEO, Conservative blogger, or Conservative/Libertarian politician points out facts, or makes predictions based on facts, it’s bad, very, very bad.
