I found this over at the Young Conservatives blog.  Posted here it in it’s entirety …

These “6 arguments that only a liberal could believe” are spot-on

“Arguing with liberals…it’s like playing chess with a pigeon; no matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, crap on the board and strut around like it’s victorious.” — Anonymous

Our friends over at Townhall compiled a great list that pretty much nails the state of politics in our country.

1) Everyone who disagrees with a liberal is racist! The Tea Party? Racist! Republicans? Racist! Fox News? Racist? Black conservatives? Racist! Barack Obama’s grandma? Racist! Do I think Social Security is solvent? My position on that is that “You’re a racist!” What do I think about flattening the tax code? Sarah Palin is a racist! Do I like potatoes? Well, Republicans eat potatoes sometimes; so potatoes are racist! Racist, racist, racist!

2) We’re all going to die because man is causing global warming! Proof? It’s science! Granted, no one can explain the science that proves global warming. But, science isn’t about science, it’s about repeating the word “science” over and over again like a magic incantation. Science, science, sciencey, sciencey science! See? It’s science and scientists agree that it’s science! Why do you hate science so much? Why do you want polar bears to die? Oh, and science!

3) (Before Obamacare was passed) Everyone should support Obamacare because it will cover all of the uninsured, it’ll save you money on health care, you’ll get to keep your doctor and it’ll be super convenient! It’s going to be the greatest thing ever! (Now) Sure, Obamacare mostly insures people it knocked off of their existing insurance, it costs a lot more, you can’t keep your doctor and the website is insanely difficult to deal with, but it’s the greatest thing ever!

4) Guns cause crime and if we take guns away from people who haven’t broken the law yet, then criminals will also not have guns somehow. Gun-free zones also protect people from criminals, who we’re sure won’t enter “gun-free zones” for some reason. Unless they do…. Which proves the problem is actually law abiding gun owners somehow or another. And that’s why we need more and more gun laws until all the people who obey gun laws can’t have guns any more, which will save us from criminals and crazy people who don’t care about the law.

5) You can’t expect black people to get voter ID. I mean, white guys? Sure. Hispanics? No problem. Asians and Jews? Obviously. But, have you met any black people in your life? You really think they’re capable of going to a government office with the proper paperwork and coming out with identification with their name on it? These guys? Seriously? Seriously? Okay, well, right after you run across a black American who can figure out how to get his own ID, why don’t we set up classrooms to teach cats how to do Algebra. Hey, Mr. Kitty, 3x + 10 + 2x = 12 + 4x? Black people getting IDs? Geeze….

6) Republicans are waging a war on women! You can tell because they oppose killing female babies and think women should buy their own birth control, just like men! Also, they’re so mean to women! For example, they oppose Hillary Clinton becoming President — obviously because she’s a woman. All criticism of women from conservatives is based on gender. Not like criticism of that @%$#^ Sarah Palin, who is so incredibly, unbelievably stupid that she only managed to become a mayor, a governor, a VP candidate, put out best selling books, had a successful TV show and became a wealthy, sought-after speaker while getting married and having 5 kids. She’s almost as bad as those @#$%!*$ — Michelle Malkin, S.E. Cupp, and Dana Loesch, although a little more evil than Ann Coulter and Megyn Kelly and more of a @#%@^$%^ #@$%^&(*^ @#$%^ than Laura Ingraham and Jan Brewer! Also, conservatives call women names!

You know the typical liberal is about as dumb as … oh … a brick? I know, I know, “that’s offensive” Steve and you should be kind and tolerant of those you don’t agree with. Perhaps, but I’ve learned that “tolerance” should kinda go both ways, and liberals have the tendency to say the most offensive, vitriolic and perverse things about conservatives. Then get their little panties in a wad when called to task on it. If you read the About Cry and Howl page you will notice that I’m really tired of being nice to dumbasses. (forgive me) Conservatives don’t get the same respect we’ve offered to liberals for decades and I think it’s about time to tell it like it is. Liberals in general are stupid. Now, I certainly don’t mean all of them, as I have some friends who are liberals. The vast majority of liberal are genuinely hateful, bigoted, racist and the stupidity within them is congenital in every one of them. In  other words stupidity is in their DNA and unfixable.

Okay, now that I feel better … on to other stuff.

I noticed today at the Daily Kos, a liberal site which is a pillar of left-wing drivel and certified bull-pucky featured a piece which attempted to demean the good Republican Senator Ted Cruz.  The title of the piece is Ted Cruz hires fool. Catchy huh?

Anyway this is (in part) what they had to say:

Via: Daily Kos

This isn’t exactly breaking news, but it’s sort of funny:

A sacked aide to the Republican Study Committee, a group of House conservatives, has joined the office of Sen. Ted Cruz.Paul Teller, who was fired in December as executive director of the RSC after leaking private conversations of members, will serve as deputy chief of staff for the Texas Republican firebrand, Cruz’s office said Monday morning.

You can click on the provided link and see why Mr. Teller was fired.

And now comes the good part …

The funny thing is that amongst today’s conservatives, pulling off a stunt like that is a badge of honor when it should really be a big red flag that you’re not really very good at what you’re trying to do. As a staffer, your job is to represent your boss. Obviously, there are times when staffers decide to secretly undermine their bosses, whether for reasons of conscience or in pursuit of a less idealistic agenda. But if you undermine your boss and you get caught, you’re not a hero, you’re a dope. And that’s apparently qualifies you to be deputy chief of staff for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Calgary).

Let’s see, the Daily Kos, in which is profound wisdom and insight suggests that a staffer should represent his/her boss and what that person does casts a negative light on said boss.

All I can say is WOW now that’s some news!

Mr. Obama has surrounded himself with and has appointed some of the most insidious and corrupt people imaginable. Tax-cheats, (Timothy Geithner) perverts, (Kevin Jennings), liars (Susan Rice), traitors (Hillary Clinton/John Kerry), racists and CYA specialists (Eric Holder) are just a few of those who represent exactly what Barack Obama is. Yet the Daily Kos rose to the occasion to demean Ted Cruz for hiring a guy who was fired for basically being too conservative.

Stupid:    Definition … something you cannot fix  …  Synonym …  Liberal

Record Number of Americans Renouncing Citizenship Due to Taxes

As sad as it seems, ever increasing numbers of American  citizens are renouncing their citizenship.  The reason seems apparent-taxes.  Wonk Wire has more…

“The number of U.S. taxpayers renouncing citizenship or permanent-resident status surged to a record high in the second quarter, as new laws aimed at cracking down on overseas assets increase the cost of complying and the risk of a taxpayer misstep,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“A total of 1,130 names appeared on the latest list of renunciations from the IRS… That is far above the previous high of 679, set in the first quarter, and more than were reported in all of 2012.”

This is Atlas…Shrugging.  Sadly, if taxes were more simple and reasonable, the government would get tax income from these people.  However, since they are less than reasonable, the government gets nothing.

Isn’t this like liberals though?  They claim that people aren’t paying their “fair share,” so either economic activity slows, stops, goes underground, or goes overseas, and the government gets less and less.  Since this happens in each and every circumstance in which it is tried, we have to assume that either they mean to destroy the system by punishing economic activity, or it’s chronic and complete stupidity, and a near complete break with reality.

USA R.I.P. Was it Suicide, Murder or Stupidity?

Well, the United States of America isn’t dead yet, but she seems to be getting weaker by the day. If she does die, it will not be due to natural causes. Nations don’t die from natural causes. They either commit suicide or they are murdered. America is gravely injured. Are they self-inflicted wounds or is someone trying to kill her? Suicide is a conscious act, where as murder can be either intentional or unintentional. So, which is the case for our beloved America? Some days I am convinced she is committing suicide by way of death of a thousand self-inflicted cuts. In other words, those inflicting the cuts know they are doing harm to our nation. Other times I am equally convinced that the problem is that the majority of our politicians, the majority of our electorate, and the majority of our special interest groups are just too damn stupid to see that their “good intentions” are causing more harm than good.

We could follow this line of thought on any issue affecting America: the Federal Reserve and its monetary policies, too-big-to-fail banks and crony corporatist, insane foreign policy in the Middle East, or we could talk about the Fiscal Cliff negotiations, in which one side wants only to raise taxes and the other side wants only to reduce spending and no one says a word about growing the economy. On any of these issues, one could ask is it suicide or is it murder and, if it is murder, is it intentional or unintentional? These are very complex issues and each is worthy of a post or more. I could have included in the short list above America’s Energy Policy or the lack there of. That too is a complex issue so let’s pick one small piece of it that has been in and out of the news for the last few years.

The Keystone Pipeline

As a quick review, the Keystone Pipeline is a multibillion dollar project to construct an oil transportation pipeline from Alberta, Canada to the Gulf coast of Texas. The pipeline would carry 830,000 barrels of oil per day to refineries in Texas. The EPA has thoroughly reviewed the project and determined there would be no significant impact on the environment from the pipeline. The State Department, because the pipeline crosses international borders, reviewed the project and gave its blessing. But, for political reasons, President Obama decided last year to delay approval until after the elections because environmental groups were worried about the possible contamination of a sensitive aquifer in Nebraska. Since then, TransCanada, the company behind the project, has rerouted the pipeline away from the aquifer in question.

So, Obama won reelection and in theory can now be his own man. The Keystone project would be a real boost to our nearly stagnant economy, it would create a lot of high paying jobs, and it would reduce our dependence on imported oil from what is becoming, due to our own foreign policies, a potentially unstable part of the world, Obama’s approval now would seem to be a no brainer, right? Maybe not.

The author of this Financial Post article thinks Obama will delay the project again. The article suggest that environmentalist are still objecting but doesn’t give us much details except to say that they will demand the project be reviewed for its impact on “Climate Change”. The Heritage Foundation blog, The Foundry, thinks the environmentalist have another plan. They think the environmentalist are planning to use another of their powerful tools, The Endangered Species Act. Apparently there is a carrion beetle known as the American Burying Beetle that resides only in the Oklahoma path for the Keystone Pipeline.

Let’s talk about motivations.

President Obama _ No one is suggesting that he will kill the project but they do think he will delay it. Why would he do that? He has won his second term so there is no need to placate any given special interest group. There is nothing in his background to suggest he was ever an environmental activist. It would seem that president Obama has every reason to want to see the Keystone Pipeline move forward as soon as possible. The economic boost is obvious, but there are also overwhelming national security reasons. The Arab Spring has advanced to Syria. Unlike Libya and Egypt, when Assad falls, there will be no transitional government to step in and return calm to the nation. The civil war in Syria will continue and quite possibly get even worse after Assad is gone. Because of the bitter hatred between the Muslim factions with one group supported by Iran and the other by Saudi Arabia plus the Kurdish situation, this Syrian civil war will likely spill into Iraq. If it spills into Iraq, that could hamper the critical flow of oil from Iraq and drive up oil prices. Then there is the thing that no one wants to talk about. What if the Arab Spring advances to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the Arab Emirates? My point is that for national security reasons our President should want to see the Keystone Pipeline project finished as soon as possible. If he doesn’t, what can we assume about his motivations? Some might say that constitutes a conspiracy to commit murder on the United States of America.

Environmentalist _ What is their motivation? I divide environmentalist into three groups.

  1. The Ignorant _ They really believe that man can learn to live in harmony with the environment without causing any harm to Mother Earth. In other words, they are too stupid to see that their good intentions will do more harm than good.
  2. The True Believers _ They know that mankind can not live in harmony with the environment and they opt for Mother Earth over mankind. In other words, they are willing to help America commit suicide
  3. The Users _ They don’t give a damn about the environment. Environmentalism is a tool they use to benefit their own ends. In other words, they are willing to commit murder on the United States of America.

Okay. We have looked at only one isolated issue. But, you see where I am going, don’t you? We could do this analysis with every issue confronting America. The results would be the same. When America dies, it will be because some were willing to murder her, others were willing to help her commit suicide, and others were too damn stupid to know what they were doing.

Well, now you know what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?

Stupid Is As Stupid Does

I am from the “Show Me” state Missouri. We are known for needing to see the proof and as such we often say show me. A few years ago we elected a dead man to the Senate and I thought I had seen it all. Sure he was well love but when Mel Carnahan died in a plane crash Missourians voted emotionally to re-elect him. His wife was appointed in his stead and I thought I had seen it all. What I have seen on the American political scene in this past year makes electing Mel look sane.

If it were possible to summarize the past year it would take more time than either of us has but I can hit the highlights.

1. We elected a first-term Senator with no executive experience and a sketchy if not abominable past to the highest office in the land. He won’t allow any of his college transcripts be seen, albeit customary, and I know in my heart it is because his class schedule looked like a who’s who in statist philosophy and circumventing the Constitution.

2. We were promised a more transparent government and White House and if anything there is less transparency to everything Congress and the Administration does. Even when the White House release information it is done on their terms and to their drudges.

3. We were promised no more business as usual with pork-barrel projects and wasteful spending only to see:

• $2 billion earmark to re-start FutureGen, a near-zero emissions coal power plant in Illinois that the Department of Energy defunded last year because it said the project was inefficient.
• A $246 million tax break for Hollywood movie producers to buy motion picture film.
• $650 million for the digital television converter box coupon program.
• $88 million for the Coast Guard to design a new polar icebreaker (arctic ship).
• $448 million for constructing the Department of Homeland Security headquarters.
• $248 million for furniture at the new Homeland Security headquarters.
• $600 million to buy hybrid vehicles for federal employees.
• $400 million for the Centers for Disease Control to screen and prevent STD’s.
• $1.4 billion for rural waste disposal programs.
• $125 million for the Washington sewer system.
• $150 million for Smithsonian museum facilities.
• $1 billion for the 2010 Census, which has a projected cost overrun of $3 billion.
• $75 million for “smoking cessation activities.”
• $200 million for public computer centers at community colleges.
• $75 million for salaries of employees at the FBI.
• $25 million for tribal alcohol and substance abuse reduction.
• $500 million for flood reduction projects on the Mississippi River.
• $10 million to inspect canals in urban areas.
• $6 billion to turn federal buildings into “green” buildings.
• $500 million for state and local fire stations.
• $650 million for wildland fire management on forest service lands.
• $1.2 billion for “youth activities,” including youth summer job programs.
• $88 million for renovating the headquarters of the Public Health Service.
• $412 million for CDC buildings and property.
• $500 million for building and repairing National Institutes of Health facilities in Bethesda, Maryland.
• $160 million for “paid volunteers” at the Corporation for National and Community Service.
• $5.5 million for “energy efficiency initiatives” at the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration.
• $850 million for Amtrak.
• $100 million for reducing the hazard of lead-based paint.
• $75 million to construct a “security training” facility for State Department Security officers when they can be trained at existing facilities of other agencies.
• $110 million to the Farm Service Agency to upgrade computer systems.
• $200 million in funding for the lease of alternative energy vehicles for use on military installations.

…and the list goes on and on and on. Of late the Administration has been buying votes in Congress with more Taxpayer dollars and coming up with even more pet projects.

4. We were warned that when the 3 a.m. phone call came in their would be no one in the White House to answer the phone. Ring – ring, ring – ring, ring – ring. Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran, and others are all ringing the phone off the wall not to mention that the American people are suffering.

5. Obama and his administration have installed some of the most misfit, communistic, ultra left leaning liberals to key positions and act surprised that anyone would take offense to them.

6. The new “I will reach across the aisle president” has only done so to slap the other side with insults, innuendo, and partisan remarks.

7. Oh yes. And the president who was to be for all of us cannot hear any of us that disagree with him. Obama has shown himself to be fussy, persnickety, petulant, and of an otherwise thin-skinned nature. No one’s perfect.

8. In the last 10 months Obama has played more golf, campaigned for more Democrats, and visited more monuments than Arnold Palmer, Bill Clinton, and Rick Steves respectively. And, while I can’t be sure of the number I believe Obama has made more TV appearances than Lassie.

9. While promising and failing at that Promise to close Guantanamo Bay Cuba for the detainees, Obama has managed to get 5 of the worst terrorists transferred to America to be tried with all the rights and benefits of American citizens. And I thought the way he behaved in Saudi Arabia and Egypt was inexcusable.

10. Number ten. Every good list has ten items and so shall this one. Obama has recognized that 12 million Americans have lost their jobs so he has a plan. He is going to have a Summit on the subject which is a fancy way to say, “Obama is planning a MEETING to talk about why no one has a friggin’ job”.

Lest I leave you having sounded cynical I would like to leave you on a positive note. Soon our president will be addressing us all again and he wants Congress to make spending cuts a priority. That should leave you laughing until the next time.
