The consistent narrative regarding the infamous pepper spray incident has been this; the peaceful occupods were ruthlessly sprayed by evil police.  Additionally, there were very few occuposds, and that the police could have exited the area in any other direction, other than through the occupods.  In other words, it was a case of police brutality.

But, like all leftist narratives,  it falls apart, once exposed to something that we like to call reality. Last week, we posted video that showed that the occupods knew that they were going to be sprayed, and agreed to it.  Then, an occupod slipped up, and revealed more of the truth…

Just in case you missed it, here is the relevant part of the transcript…

AMY GOODMAN: I want to turn to Elli Pearson. Elli, describe exactly what happened on Friday.

ELLI PEARSON: Well, we were protesting together, and the riot cops came at us, and we linked arms and sat down peacefully to protest their presence on our campus. And at one point, they were—we had encircled them, and they were trying to leave, and they were trying to clear a path. And so, we sat down, linked arms, and said that if they wanted to clear the path, they would have to go through us. But we were on the ground, you know, heads down. And all I could see was people telling me to cover my head, protect myself, and put my head down. And the next thing I know, I was pepper-sprayed.

So, they did surround the police, and tried to prevent them from leaving.

Another narrative bites the dust!  This reminds me of what children used to be told; when you lie, you end up telling more lies to cover your lies-then you can’t keep track of all of your lies, and get caught.  Of course, if a child attends public school, they are taught lies daily, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the children indoctrinated in those schools fail to recognize that old wisdom.
