Over A Dozen House-Passed VA Reform Bills Sitting on Harry Reid’s Desk

Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) interviewed with Larry O’Connor, WMAL radio in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, May 21st. Get this: she serves on the House Veteran’s Affairs committee and says over the last 18 months, the House has passed dozens of reform bills for the VA, some bi-partisan, none of which have made it to the floor of the Senate — meaning Harry Reid killed them, didn’t give Senators the opportunity to even consider them. Can we say anything other than Harry Reid may have killed those 40 or more veterans who were not treated, and may kill more as diseases have advanced […]

GITMO Terrorists Treated Better Than Our Vets

Hat/Tip to WeaselZippers. Thanks to Obama who went out of his way to make life easier for the terrorists locked in Gitmo after his plans to close the facility were thwarted by Congress. Via Fox News: By now most American have heard about the VA’s infamous patient “secret wait lists” which reportedly contributed to the deaths of up to 40 veterans in the Phoenix area alone. Those patriots were American heroes who served our country proudly. Yet they were left to die waiting to see a doctor. Here’s another secret the White House doesn’t want you to know about the VA. […]

“A Soldier’s Memoir” PTSD Song by Joe Bachman OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO

Every once in a while here at CH2.0, we like to mix it up a bit. Here are two videos by up and coming recording star, Joe Bachman. The first video is about a very serious matter that our brave men and women who defend our freedom face more and more each day. It is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD. This claims the lives of too many of our country’s heroes and Joe Bachman has penned a song that he calls A Soldier’s Memoir as a tribute to all our veterans. If you watch it all the way to […]

Obama Arbitrarily Bans Veterans From Owning Guns

Apparently, “due process” in the US has been replaced by the pen of Barak Hussein Obama.  Ordinarily “due process” is required to deprive someone of their rights.  The idea is that government is not the granter of human rights, but the protector of rights endowed by our creator.  So, there has to be a legal process and a sound rationale for restricting the rights of an American citizen.  Unless, that is, you are a veteran in Barak Hussein Obama’s  Amerika, and you own guns. Fire Andrea Mitchell has more… Constitutional Attorney Michael Connelly writes for Red Flag News: How would […]

“Barrycading Barry” Protesters Take “Barrycades” From War Memorials to the White House

Our spiteful, childish, and vindictive POTUS got a message from the people-in the form of the barricades (AKA “Barrycades”).  The Obama Administration ordered open air war memorials closed, and the Park Police threatened to arrest WW II vets that violated those “barrycades.”  Breitbart has the coverage… On Sunday, protesting the barricades placed at memorials around Washington D.C. by the vindictive Obama administration, veterans removed the barricades and proceeded to take them to the White House. Breitbart has pics Tweeted from the scene.

Veterans Day: 2012

Veterans should hold a place in our society that is special. I know that they hold a place in my heart. My father served in WWII with the Marines in the first invasion of Okinawa. He was 150 miles from the Japanese mainland when for the first time in his life he saw a mushroom cloud. Dad told me that his unit had already received orders to go the China coast in an effort to surround Japan. Thank God he did not have to go. My younger brother served in the Navy during the first Gulf War. He was on […]
