In life we all experience some things that are just so wrong. Wrong in the way it is to torture puppies or to beat a homeless person. To encounter such things is a call to. America we have such an opportunity this Christmas. We can inundate the White House with telegrams. Tell Mr. Obama how wrong it is to inflict upon New York this sham of a trial glorifying the terrorists and condemning America. This decision is not only wrong, it is wrong in the worst way: it is evil.
Mr. Obama, you have said that you have left this to Attorney General Holder. We don’t believe you nor do we care. What we care about is America and Americans brothers and sisters. We care about those who suffered so much at the hands of these soulless zealots who took from us what could have only been taken by force: security. Our nation has been violated with the attacks of 9-11. Despots, bent on hatred, declared war on America. They stole the joy of sons, daughters, mothers and fathers. Nearly a decade has past and America still mourns the dead and dying.
Mr. Obama this decision to return these evil doers to New York and provide them with the rights and privileges of citizens is beyond all understanding. I have tried in every way I can to allow room in my heart for this decision but there is no quarter there. It is simply wrong. Mr. Obama can you care so little about this country that you will elevate these cheap terrorist thugs to the largest stage in the world? Are you so heartless that you cannot feel the pain of your people? Are we your people? Your mouth says yes but your actions say otherwise.
Surely you can go ahead with this. Who can stop you? You have shown us you will listen to no one. Perhaps you will listen to all of us. Perhaps you will see that to lead a people is to have them follow you. Look behind you now. Who is there? Who will be there tomorrow and after you continue to demean and demoralize America while edifying these hate maddened terrorists? Show America you care. Rescind this decision. Where is the Hope?

You raise many good questions here Ken. I will answer one. “Where is the hope?” There was never hope, only rhetoric. More empty words from an empty suit.
It’s hard to believe how the righteous indignation felt after 9-11 has turned to cowering self hate.
At first, I thought it was a good decision to bring these terrorists to trial in New York. My reasoning was based on making sure the rest of the world knew we were taking care of business in the proper manner. I also thought that it would be the ultimate justice to allow the citizens of our country to administer judgment on them.
After further reflection and thought, I have to agree that these men should not be given the rights that are afforded by our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Doing so is the ultimate insult to those who died on September 11, 2001.
As for the hope and change he promised, it was just a lot of words and rhetoric, as Matt has suggested. Except for the change part. He has brought a lot of change and it is the kind that we are going to be hard put to recover from.

KSM admitted he plotted 9/11 and asked to be executed. Our intelligence people think he did it. Therefore there is no real reason for a trial.
This is a move by Obama to is appease his kook fringe base. These are the people who chanted “hope” and “change” the loudest last election and had a serious case of BDS.
Obama knows this is going to turn in to a circus and devolve in to a proxy trial of President Bush and his handling of the GWOT.

Excellent comment as have been everyones comments thus far. To harp on the matter further is really preaching to the choir. In my mind, those who can continue in this insensitivy for Americans and deny us our voice will never listen to reason. Just as we are confident in our judgement, they too are confident in theirs, albeit driven by personal greed and a spirit of superiority. Like all things this too must run its course. My words are to relieve the pressure on my spirit and to possibly win some support for our hopes.
In closing, do you think there are many letters to the White House (specifically to Obama) or do you think most Americans fear the fallout of talking directly to “O”?
Excellent letter to El Presidente, Ken. That is how I refer to Obama since he continues to act like a tin-pot, marxist dictator.
This circus will be a process in futility with no good coming from it. KSM and his traitorous attorneys will put GWB on trial in order to posit a defense. Of course, this is what Holder and El Presidente are drooling for. It is an elitist attitude that says, we can find KSM guilty and get our jabs in at Bush all at once.
Obama will never change his mind on this because he will achieve his goal. He isn’t putting the terrorists on trial, he is putting America, and more accurately, the Bush administration on trial. He is throwing a bone to the far left who still want to see Bush punished for defending this country.
