I think it’s hilarious when the left steadfastly denies what we have been saying, then slips and admits it. Keith Olbermann slipped quite a bit recently, and exposed some things that have previously been hush-hush. Of course, Newsbusters wasn’t going to let it pass, so here is their coverage.
KEITH OLBERMANN: Health care reform that benefits the industry at the cost of the people is intolerable and there are no moral constructs in which it can be supported. And if still the bill, and this heinous mandate become law, there is yet further reaction required. I call on all those whose conscience urges them to fight to use the only weapon that will left to us if this bill as currently constituted becomes law. We must not buy federally-mandated insurance, if this cheesy counterfeit of reform is all we can buy. No single payer? No sale. No public option? No sale. No Medicare buy-in? No sale.
I am one of the self-insured, albeit by choice. And I hereby pledge that I will not buy this perversion of health-care reform. Pass this at your peril, senators. And sign it at yours, Mr. President. I will not buy this insurance. Brand me a law-breaker if you choose. Fine me if you will. Jail me if you must.
Whoa there Keith! Now you know darn well that single payer is MOST ABSOLUTELY NOT PART OF HEATH CARE REFORM!! I mean, even though Obama, Rep. Jan Schakowski, Barney Frank, and others have all said that it’s the goal of the plan, it’s all really TEABAGGER PROPAGANDA!! You were just kidding Keith…weren’t you????

I dunno Trestin. It might just be that the left wants single payer, the public option that will lead to it. They want the eventual total control that their plan represents. It may just be a good thing that the left isn’t coming to it’s senses. If they can’t pass what the left wants, then they may not pass anything.
Keith Oddballman finally told the truth–its not health care he supports but insurance companies he is against. And its perfectly alright to have mandated insurance as long as its from the government, but not those evil money grubbing insurance companies. This guy obviously hates capitalsim—could he be a communist?
I’d say that’s a safe bet. He’s also having a problem since he’s pwned nightly by every show on FOX by a wide margin.
The Olbermann’s of the world are completely clueless. He paid by an evil corporation and if he’s not careful he will wind up losing is sweet Cadillac health care plan and wind up with government run health care that he is advocating for the rest of us.
I know he thinks he’s in the “News Business” but it’s quickly devolving at MSNBC into an “Opinion Business”. And being an “Opinion Business” NBC will eventually grow tired of paying the freight for ‘top tier’ (I’m sure he is paid like one) on air talent that is delivering the same number of viewers as a local access cable channel.
I wonder if the perpetually falling ratings will contribute to the downfall of this idiot, and others like him?
I guess this makes Olberman a racist teabagger like the rest of us? It is funny how when we oppoe the president that is what we were called, but now more and more of the leftists are coming out against the bill and it is suddenly okay again to opose the president. The least that the left could do was to hold themselves to the same standards they want to hold us to.
