The latest polling data suggests that Tuesday’s Election is close…very close. According to Hot Air, even Coakley’s internal poll shows Brown in the lead.
A couple of late polls in the Senate race in Massachusetts indicate that Scott Brown continues to lead Martha Coakley and is positioned for a game-changing upset in the special election. According to a Coakley campaign internal poll, not much has changed since the beginning of the week:
Other polls are showing the race nearly too close to call. This causes me some concerns over the typical Democratic tactics in close races. Namely, that they are going to engage in voter fraud to pull out a win. The dead will vote, Democrat allied organizations might fill up buses or vans and take voters from poll to poll, and fake absentee ballots will arrive in a flood.
So, I started thinking about how to prevent and/or expose those. The dead are dead, and those voting in their name aren’t really going to be identifiable, so that’s kind of out. Fake absentee ballots, unless a poll worker is able to expose them, are out of our reach. That leaves us with being able to address people being transported from place to place. We’ve all heard about it before; groups being picked up by the Dems or an allied group, and being driven from polling place to polling place, voting at each.
Here’s my idea:
1. Patriots can volunteer to watch polling places. The local Tea Party group can coordinate these efforts. Folks can go in shifts.
2. Each volunteer should have a fully charged cell phone, a digital camera (preferably a video camera). Take extra batteries, discs, memory…whatever will be needed to monitor the polling place for several hours.
3. Watch for vehicles carrying multiple people that enter the polling place. If possible, take pics or video of the people, noting clothing, or anything that make the people stand out. If possible, get the license plate of the vehicle.
4. Stay at a distance that allows you to get clear images, but not so close that you are too obvious. Remember that the SEIU and other groups might have people there too. They will attempt to interfere if they notice you. For extra coverage, a second person at a different angle might have opportunities to get pictures.
5. If you see something suspicious, take your pictures or video, and contact the others. Then, they can track if the same vehicle or voters arrive at other polling places. DO NOT INTERVENE!!! We mean to catch them in the act. If you approach a group of voters, you will be accused of voter intimidation. The left and their media lap dogs will pick up on it, and it will take the focus off the fact that they were (possibly) committing voter fraud.
6. Of course, record any incidents of the other side attempting to intimidate or harass other voters.
What does everyone think? Is this doable, or is there something else folks can do? It’s an open thread. Run with it!
In the meantime…SUPPORT SCOTT BROWN!!!
Do you favor the restoration of our Republic?
Do you dislike the nanny state?
Do you believe that our Constitution should be followed?
Have you joined the RESISTANCE? .
Be part of the solution!

Sounds like a good plan to me. I know Fuzzy is in Massachusetts. Who else is close enough to help in such an effort?
ladi di is Mass, too. http://ladydi-quickwit.blogspot.com/
Thanks. I really don’t think any of the readers here are from Mass.
I know Fuzzy Slippers is from MA
I’ll send her link
Thanks Bunni!
Well since I live in Illinos… I just contributed to Brown’s website.
That’ll do nicely, Don!
I expect the libs to at least try to cheat. I also think it will backfire. A year ago “well, politics is a messy business” seemed to be the prevailing attitude and a lot of people didn’t care so much – they were just happy to be turning the page on the Bush years. Now that they’ve had a yearlong taste of “the most transparent administration ever” along with the bad PR for ACORN and SEIU, I think more people will resent any meddling in the election.
I have no doubt that they’ll try, unless they think that Coakley is such a loser that it’s not worth the effort. At any rate, this is a dress rehearsal for November. I think we have to study the ways of the Dem machine, and counter their efforts.
Not if the union workers don’t show up for her phone bank. Hahahahaha! http://watchdog.org/2010/01/18/snow-day-in-boston/
I saw that on Memorandum. Very telling if you ask me. I also heard that there’s video out there of a SEIU goon from a Croakley rally admitting that he was paid to show up. If I can find it, I’ll post it.
Matt, good suggestions. I agree that the Tea Party Patriots should organize some effort to monitor the polling places. Also pictures or videos of any type of suspicious activity are another great suggestion. I contacted the organization from their website and asked if there was a plan in place.

Thanks John, I hope they do monitor this. Even though it appears that Brown will win, it would be icing on the cake to get some good footage of voter fraud.
You bet your ass they will try and steal the election should it be very close—they have always done this. At many polling places in the large cities the Republicans have few if any poll watchers. Corruption is a way of life in big city politics and the bosses their have no morals. The end justifies the means is their battle cry!
When the ends justify the means, all sorts of ugliness happens. I think the people have tired of it.
I will ask the other contributors as well.
I have no doubt that they will engage in nefarious activities to keep their power regime going. I would like to see Brown win, then Nevada can keep that momentum going and get rid of that ass, Reid. Matt, I like your ideas and I would like your permission to pass them on to my Tea Party associates here.
LP, you have full permission to pass on anything from this site. Thank you.
Matt, this is an EXCELLENT idea! Posted your link on my blog comments, I am commenting for you, the echo still doesn’t pick yours up, but I get emails! I tweeted too!
A super idea, and people should do EXACTLY what you say!, Document, stay stealth, don’t confront, and go in teams! We have to be prepared for all kinds of dirty tricks with these cornered feral rats.
Excellent Post!
Feral rats! I like that. Thanks for the promotion, I hope it does some good, even at this late time.
Yes, they will try to cheat– the reason the dems don’t seem to be too concerned about winning elections anymore. They figure they’ll just STEAL them.
I like your idea though!
I, sadly, agree. I think we’ll need a national effort to monitor things come November. This is the practice run.
I’m here and will be voting early. Plan to take my camera and hang around for a while after we vote. Good luck to Mr. Brown and the country today!
Good luck, and God’s speed! I never thought I’d say that the voters of Mass. would help save the country, but it is very true today.
