A (new?) piece of Americana

Wow, CH 2.0 has really been busy as of late. We are blessed with many good contributors and even when we disagree with one another it is in a thoughtful, respectful manner that only serves to help us all get something out of it. Matt, you have really got something good here.

I thought I would throw a curve ball and give us all a bit of ear candy. We are all probably familiar with that great piece of Americana written by Ernest Thayer titled “Casey at the bat” and published in the San Fransico Examiner in 1888. About the Author

Don Ronald Reagan said, "You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done." I am teaching my teenagers that they don't have the option of blissful ignorance. That is why I became a Conservative Activist on the internet and gravitated to CH 2.0!
