It’s been an interesting week. The infection that caused my hospitalization last week is nearly gone, and I had to take some rather nasty oral antibiotics to finish it off. But, it is what it is, and I’m mostly recovered, and feeling a ton better. I have to be honest, I really didn’t make a big deal about it, because others are worse off than me, and I knew I was going to recover.
As for politics, we had Sandra Fluke being a globe-trotting activist, searching the planet for cheap birth control. Obama crafted some exceptionally tall tales in his (why we can’t have) energy speech. The “war on women” meme fell flat, leading certain lib commentators to lament the fact that women didn’t fall for it. Of course, the occupods can’t seem to stop raping people, and they seem to be a magnet for sexual offenders.
